I wish I had the luxury of being able to get up even an hour before my classes, but unfortunately everyone is asleep and treadmill running would wake 'em up.

I considered doing running outside. I have a light 2.5 mile light jog map out, around my neighborhood. I'll have to buy some new sneakers soon.

    • RE: Lose the weight, look great, in cosplay

This title sums up my current thoughts. I want to cosplay this year, but I want to slim down and just tone up a little this year. Last year (2010), around Feburary, I decided to lose a bit of weight as I didn't like my image weighing at 82kg (180 pounds).

So, I got on our treadmill and did 30 minutes of running each day for three months, till I got lazy. After the three months, I had dropped from 82kg to 70kg (158 pounds). I was also eating healthy which I believe helped a lot.

Unfortunately, due to slacking off, I've gained 4kg back. So, beginning of Feb, I'm getting back onto that treadmill and I'm aiming for 65kg (143 pounds).

      LETS DO THIS!

    • Best of the Best: One Piece AMVs

Good evening, my little minions. I recently discovered that this forum doesn't have a thread dedicated to OP AMVs. A truly unforgivable act. The sensible thing to do would be to kill a selected few of you, but I'm willing to let it all slide, if you would contribute to this thread.

If I have overlooked a thread, I will accept a whipping. grins

If you have never heard of Junizorofan, you have been under a rock. She is, in my own perfect opinion, the best OP editor ever. Unfortunately, her Youtube accounts have been one after the other, but she keeps fighting back!

Here is a link to her current account: http://www.youtube.com/user/TheJuniZoroFan While she may not have a lot of her songs uploaded anymore, she has Megaupload links in her profile. DOWNLOAD!

materializes a chair, sits and thinks Hmm. Good question. You'd thought asking for anything more from poor 'ol Oda would be greedy but that's what we are: greedy fans.

grins If I had been asked this question a year or two ago, I would have some more love interests, but now we have Hancock. It tears me up inside knowing that it is futile to want more than this; the crew's love is for the adventure.

I want a moment, after the time-skip when they've all reformed their crew, where Luffy shocks his crew with his new Haki powers, i.e. pwnage moment.

    • RE: Have you ever done `it`?

Ah, you speak of lucid dreaming. I've heard people speak of being able to control their dreams, though they never describe it properly, which leads me to believe they never experienced true lucid dreaming.

I've only been able to achieve it once. It happened around the beginning of my teen years, so eleven or thirteen. I can't ever forget that dream. It is still clear as day in my mind.

I was having a dream about being chased by IT (Stephen King). I was terrified, screaming for help. His perfectly white, sharp teeth gleaming in the darkness. It was like I couldn't see him clearly, but his features became more clear as I ran. Eventually, I was caught at the end of the cliff; nothing below me but a raging sea ready to swallow me; nothing above me but a dark, stormy sky. I had two choices: stay and be eaten, or jump. _I never got to choose, unfortunately. The cliff's edge crumbled beneath my feet and I feel. I was swallowed by the sea, sinking… sinking so deep. I desperately tried to swim but it felt like I weighed a ton, so I sank.

It was at that moment... I don't know how to explain it. It is at a moment like this that you'd usually wake up and realise it was a dream and then try to go back to sleep... But, I didn't wake up, at least in the real world; I woke up inside my mind. I realised it was all a dream; that I was in a dream, my dream!_ I was then surrounded by darkness, yet I could still see around me. I was sitting crossed-legged on… the best I could describe it would be dark matter; nothing. If you've read Garth Nix's "The Keys to The Kingdom", think of that 'nothing'. I had actually started reading his books around then, so that might explain why my mind has decided to put me here. So, yeah… From there I just create odd things, testing lucid dreaming. It was fun.

The strange and sad thing is... I lost something that night. I never dreamed again. I haven't had a dream since that day.

My mind is just a silent graveyard when I sleep.

    • RE: Post how your day was… (NEW)

A lazy day, I must admit. I was peacefully dreaming about slaughtering Kubo in different manners when I was awoken by a phone call; I ignored it. I got another call about an hour later; I ignored it again. This pattern occurred two more times, before I picked up.

You'd think a guy could have a undisturbed 15 hour sleep in peace. Unfortunately, my mate didn't think so. And what did he want? A lift to our local store to pick up smokes! If he wants something to kill him slowly, I got just the thing: ME!

right eye begins to twitch Other than that, I re-watched Strong World again, some AMVs on youtube, some porn (I'm not kidding), had some fun reading about some pathetic fool who was trolled a few months back and now I'm here.

I did skip dinner, but that's because I haven't had it yet. Waiting for the right one to come close enough for me to grab 'em. licks lips and chuckles

frowns Have I overlooked something? Perhaps my eyes were closed when it happened… I've seen a lot of people refer to this break as the "end of the first half". I understand what they're saying, but what are they refering to?

Did Oda do an interview saying he was going to do this, even if it was a vague comment? Has Oda every said he was doing his series in two half or something, or is this someone fans made up?

    • My Song - Destined To Lose

Destined to Lose was my first and is my only song I've ever written.

      Destined to Lose
_Waking up and seeing she's not there,
Waking up and seeing that; proof she didn't care,
You tried with all your might to keep the peace,
Yet you can't say you didn't enjoy that little release,
So, you stare in the mirror and believe it to be a lie,
She didn't even wake up to say goodbye.

Now as darkness takes you, nobody left to embrace,
One word to describe you: disgrace.

You're cold, you're alone and you need someone,
You can't ever comprehend what you've done,
Maybe it was the drugs, maybe it was the booze,
Whichever it was, you were destined to lose,
And now you're sitting in this fucked up state,
You can't turn back the clock now, it's far too late.

You feel the need for a drink, maybe a bong,
These addictions in life, like a classical song,
But it only seems to sink you to an all-time low,
So now, where will you go?
Out of money, out of luck,
This is your final warning: you're fucked!

Now as darkness takes you, nobody left to embrace,
      One word to describe: disgrace.

You get in the car, turn the key,
You're taking the road towards your destiny,
You pass through a red light; not one but three,
On the fourth, you're not so lucky,
Ending with a body thumping on the screen,
Her face empty of life, this shouldn't have been,
Guilt rising, pulse racing, hand moving to the gun,
This is the end of the road: the setting of the sun.

Now as darkness takes you, nobody left to embrace,
One word to describe you: disgrace.

You're cold, you're alone and you need someone,
You can't ever comprehend what you've done,

I'm amazed this thread was created; it is just asking for trouble. 😕

I grew up with seven sisters and my mother, equating to eight females in the household. Do you know how my hellish my younger teenaged years were? Sure, it sucks being in the same room as a female that is on her period, but at least you may only have to endure it once a month; by the time I was fourteen, I never got a break from it. One of them always seemed to be on their period!

sighs I don't mind women, as long as they are respectful (which I shall be back) and never utter the phrase, "Like, oh my god!" in a stereotypical dumb-blonde voice.

I don't believe any of them will become a part of the Mugiwara Crew. I could give an argument for all three as to why any of them could be a part of the crew, but I am too tired.

Now, I am by no means a Persona fanatic, but if I had to choose between the three, I would choose Persona. I feel the next crew member needs to be female. What has got me is, all the previously crew members have had a important portion of their past discussed for character development. Hoping Oda keeps true to every new member, I can only wonder how we will pull a sad past from Persona.

I did a 30 minute research before posting and it seems 4chan has found the girl. It seems they have their uses besides trolling - perhaps their death threats will be more valid this time.

I also heard something about the girl posting a video somewhere (I came across it myself) apologizing for her actions stating the puppies were already sick and there was no one to look after them.

G'day, my name Jason, but you can just call me Sin. I don't how this forum has been hiding from me for so long, but I've found you now.

Anyway, I guess I should tell a bit about myself. A good start would be that I love anime. A few of my current 5 favourite animes would be:

      • One Piece - It's come a long way from where it started, and knowing Oda, it still has a long way to go. It's most recent movie, Strong World was spectacular, in my opinion; the best of all One Piece movies. The character development is, I think, what makes it most appealing to me.

      • Darker Than Black - I was a bit wary of the anime at first, as it took me nearly a month to finally download (yes, forgive me - piracy X.X ) and watch Season 1. I do not regret it. It has great characters, a good story; a pity Season 2 was disappointing, though the Gaiden OVAs made up for it a little and even made me cry (Gaiden > Season 2).

      • Hajime no Ippo - I'm usually not a fan of anime that is heavily revolves around sport, only ever having watched Eyeshield 21 before (which was quite enjoyable), but this really appealed to me. I can't wait till Season 3 is done, released and subbed.

      • Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood - I honestly have no complaints with this series; seriously, I can't complain about one thing, everything is just perfect in my opinion. Well, I could say I am sad some scenes weren't as well portrayed as they were in the manga, but meh.

      • Hellsing Ultimate - If someone asked me what my favourite vampire-based anime was I wouldn't hesitate to name this anime. All I could complain about this anime is the long wait between each OVA, and then further wait for decent subs, AND the fact we are still waiting for any further dubbed episodes past OVA 4.

I've been a fan of anime since I was 5, though ironically enough, didn't know many of the shows I loved so much were anime till I was 10. I grew up with anime such as the original Pokemon, Digimon, Beyblades, Dragonball, Dragonball Z and when I found out about anime I started to delve in Naruto.

I don't believe I've mentioned I'm an Australian and proud of it. I've always lived in Australia but I have moved around a lot. I've lived in over 30 different homes, some bought, some built and many rented. I guess my parents just loved to move.
Whatever the reason was, it helped me get a taste of different agriculture; whether it be in the cold, lonely hills; hot, dusty countrysides; fast-paced compact cities; to even the cool, salty-aired coasts; I've had a bit of everything! From my experiences, I've come to love travelling. I wish in the future to be able to take a few holidays to different countries.

I've studied 6 different languages in my time:

      • French
      • Spanish
      • Chinese
      • Japanese
      • Latin
      • German

I believe I enjoyed Japanese the best - anyone care to guess why? But, it has helped me when I've been desperate enough to watch a good anime RAW. I'm defiantly not fluent, but I can get around.

I've also played 10 different sports, which include:

      • Tee-Ball
      • Cricket
      • Basketball
      • Soccer
      • Football
      • Swimming
      • Golf
      • Tennis
      • Badminton
      • Cross-Country Running (does this count?)

You could say, when I was little, I was quite the active little bastard. I wish I could say I am as active today as I was then, but alas, I can't. It is nice to reminisce though.

If you haven't already noticed, I like to write a lot and with a good enough grammar and punctuation as possible. I've always been like that. When I was younger (yes, yes, "we don't want your life story") I used to love writing creative stories and they were usually always in the thousands of words, which was quite a bit of trouble for my teachers. I've even written a song before when I was younger and I must say it was quite good.

Well, I think I'll stop it there. If you've made it this far, thanks for reading so much. I don't know if you get to read some a long introduction often, so consider this a treat. Oh, and a fun fact: I usually reside in AA (Anime-Anarchy Forums). It's a great forum with a very extensive supply of anime for download, whether it be subbed, dubbed, or dual-audio, and in different quality whether it be tiny to even 1080p.

Anyway, I hope I can be an active member of this forum to. Hope to you see around.

      Sin.
