I don't recalls haki/iron body ever coming up in an sbs and I feel like I've got a pretty good memory for these things. Could be wrong, but I don't think it's come up.

My feeling is that it's canon that CP9 all had haki, but that doesn't mean that the Six Powers techniques are haki. Given that haki is a skill based on ambition and willpower best developed and improved through battles, it makes sense to try to awaken it through the discipline and practice of a martial art. It makes sense that the World Government, wanting its agents to have haki, would develop a martial art with skills similar to haki techniques (not just iron body and finger pistols either, the often-forgotten paper art dodging is pretty reminiscent of the narrow dodges a lot of CoO users pull off) among other useful things specifically as a way to power up their agents and sailors.

Incidentally, this headcanon is why I like the English translation for the skill names. They're simple, utilitarian and descriptive. That makes more sense for a slightly cynical government-designed haki-precursor training, rather than leaving them in the cool and foreign-sounding original Japanese like a proper, traditional martial art might deserve. But again, all of that is just me speculating and extrapolating based on the little bits of info we do have.

i think i kinda agree with you, i think all character have haki, only HOW they use it differ from others, like how they call it ryuo in wano, mantra in sky island, rokushiki (as a technique consist of 6) and haki as overall, so, its up to our own interpretation on how we want to understand what oda present to us…

I prefer digital manga, so when I purchase new volumes I work with them to make a .cbr copy for my own collection of files, which is the best way for me to read instead of using different apps for different publishers/languages, etc. Thanks to the threads I've followed on AP, I now buy OP in English (print/digital) and both digital versions in Japanese (monochrome/color), so it's very nice to have them all in "the same spot." I also have a large CD collection and have decided to use the feed scanner at this quality to make real backups of the albums, music + scans, so .cbr has become a convenient format for me to gather images into one file and still have them be viewable without extracting them. :happy:

Weixiaobao, perhaps this will be perfect for what you need… my steps for this image collection were to remove the scans of the jackets (cards only), crop images to a uniform 2700x3850 (removing outer edges with any empty space), then save the cropped images as .jpgs with a quality setting of 50. I have found this to be a surprisingly impressive setting for reducing size while still keeping detail quality, and the result is a complete (for now) Vivre Card collection that is under 900 MB. Since there is no separation by pack, files are in order of the card number(s) they show, and I have removed the "F" or "B" for front/back in favor of "-01" or "-02" to allow more numbers for characters with multiple cards.

I think the Vivre Card team is doing a lot of redrawing for the sake of the cards. There have been tons of characters with bits added in that were off-panel originally or with characters originally standing in front of them erased. My theory is that its the same people who usually work on the colour manga and that's why the next volumes are taking so damn long.

This sounds like what I've done with my own archive, adding the SBS and ect from the black and white scans. Not all the scans I found were super high quality though, so I'm hoping there's some cleaner versions in your version.

all is look fine to me, the only downside for me only that the filesize are 4 times for the same resolution

Nah, that's a scan of the physical volume. That release is always appreciated, but I like having the direct rips from the digital raw, all perfectly clean and hd, for my archive. Usually they're out by this time of the month.
