Got back from Otakon, and there were some great op cosplay (including a giraffe form kaku cough cough)! But here are the ones I ran into around the con that really impressed me.

That would be cool, but sadly I think Dr. Vegapunk is currently in the holy land. Although.. maybe Franky can sneak a peak at the pacifista blue prints. ;)

That would be a fun version to do, probably easier then trying to do cactuar but I must get that done too…

Blah I'm starting to edit my Kaku swords now, though I really hate I have to mess up the shiny black handles to make them brown, oh well.

I really wish I could just edit a real sword to make Funkfreed when I start on Spandam but I'm sure the cons I'd wear it to would be the ones that totally ban live steel period (I'm surprised alot of cons will actually let you bring in live steel, as long as you keep it peace bonded o.o;;; )

Hey, you mind posting your swords when you get done with them.. and don't worry I'll get some epic sword fighting at the con. I would have loved to have the kaku swords with me.. but its almost three weeks till the con and I don't think that's enough time to even begin working on them.

Think I'm going to have to use some foam swords so I don't hurt Zoro too much. :p

Hey the first shot of me, I was the second Franky that didn't have his balls crushed. XD And I gotta say I didn't look half bad for my first Op cosplay. Had a lot of fun Friday night as him. And man you would not believe the speedo comments I got.

Yeah, Looks like everyone just got the Sunday photo shoot. I was Franky on Friday at that photo shoot. Yeah Unfortunatly I had my ass handed to me by the other Franky, but he was very cool to talk to. If anyone was wondering I was the Franky with the mast of Sunny.

Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to start making some better Franky arms for next year. XD

Oh hell yeah.. I'm going to be doing my first One piece cosplay at Otakon this year. Going to be hanging around with Hyper_dingo's group as the Franky (with a quite familiar ship with me. ;P)

Hi, I'm putting together a Franky costume. All of it is done except for the sunglasses. I've been trying to make them myself.. but to say the least the lenses either crack or are uneven. They seem like a pretty common design, or at least they should be… I see them all the time on other characters. Trying to find them online isn't proving to successful or at least I'm failing at it. So does anyone have any idea on where to get these?

I've never heard of a subtitled manga…but there is a translation subforum here so you should be the first to know if it's been scanslated or not.

I have a bad habit of calling manga subbed (from watching too much subbed anime), I mean manga translated into English. :P

Not to bring this into the wrong place or anything, but I can't seem to find the subbed chapter 424 (newest one). I've been browsing this forum but I keep downloading the raw version. I was wondering if anyone could link it if its even out yet.

Bah, I'm just a little disappointed that Naruto had three years to train and has yet to pull off something cool (besides the 9 tails going WTF pwn to orichimaru). I mean you were with the toad master himself.. summon a GIANT TOAD AND PUNCH GARRA IN THE FACE LIKE YOU DID LAST TIME!

That's the only thing that bugs me with the current naruto manga, and hell look at Sasuke… he grew so much and he pulls off this bad ass moves that root from the Chidori.

And I want to see more Hinata shyness/love interest towards Naruto dammit! XD

This is a great show! I absolutely love it. As soon as I saw it for the first time on Adult swim I had to get the name of it. Right now its an experiment for adult swim.

If you really love it, go sign up for the AS message boards and exclaim how much you love it! They might keep it if it gets a huge fan base over here in America.

Otakon was a LOT of fun this year. I had a really good time over all, and met a few AP people! I really thought the quality of the One Piece cosplay went up a great deal. The gathering was also a lot bigger this year. Another thing that was a blast was the Pirates vs. Ninjas dance off. I am sure I looked dumb as hell because I can't dance for beans, but it was really fun, and I got to hang with some cool One Piece people.

I took a ton of pictures, mostly of my own group and the OP photoshoot, but a few others. I also did a Vivi and Nami poolside photoshoot with my friend Mandy as Vivi at the Sheraton pool. Soon as I get them uploaded, I'll post!

Myoga - Ha ha ha! You caught us right after Opening Ceremonies, when we were like FOOOOOOD~! and started devouring our prop XD! I look weird there. In any case, it was cool meeting you there!

Oi, I was wondering if you still had the picture of me. If so then it would be cool to have.

I loved Otakon this year, I had a really cool conversation with Seta and raved with Hyper dingo as always.

Btw, if there is any possibility that I can get Hyper dingo's chopper/Franky cosplay pics as well as seta's Nami w/ sanji cosplay. I forgot to like get pictures for some reason (prolly all the excitement.)

And as for the other One Piece cosplays, they were very good. I saw a lot of variety this year then compared to last year, its just too bad there wasn't a soeking. :(

Personally I still use torrent storm. Even though there havn't been any updates for it in a while. I just like the interface and its really easy to download from.

When I got a letter from the University of the Ozarks in Alabama (an art school), saying that I was accepted and had been chosen to recieve the Dean's Scholarship award of $28,000 (and I didn't even apply for it. I just applied to the school online). Me = Floored.

Then came the most difficult decision of my life to turn it all down to go to a cheaper, closer college with 6 crappy makeshift art buildings that were supposed to be torn down 20 years ago. :(

Could you link the torrent with the problem fixed. I tried to go to the site to find it but it only had one version of episode 174, which was the same one I got.

I just downloaded episode 174 of one piece, I tried to play it but it wouldn't play any audio. I tried to adjust my speakers thinking that was the problem, but it wasn't. I even played back a previous episode (episode 173 I think), and that played fine. So I played around with it a little and it only makes sound when I fast forward or rewind and then it cuts out again.

So can anyone help me? :(

Yeah, thats why its more of a "what if" kinda thing. Because you will always have licencng rights to deal with, and all that good stuff.

I was more trying to suggest a site that would sub anime. And you have access to different series. And all you pay is a monthly fee for it all. Its downloading but with more benefits.

This is all based off of a "what if" kinda deal so hear me out. This is an idea of mine.

What if there was a site deticated to both the subbing of Anime over in Japan, and the distributing of anime to America via download. Like a site that you download from and they come out with good quality fast subs. And all you pay is something around $15-20 dollars a month for legal anime for your computer. And from time to time you can get box sets from them as well.

So would you guys pay for this. The fee is almost the same for most MMORPGs like World of Warcraft, and they would sub almost anything Japanese Anime Related.

Went to steak and shake! That is the best place to go for valentines day, or for anything really.

I saw an even better dragon program on the history channel.

They said that a lot of places around the world all share the same belief of dragons. And there are so man cultures which tell stories of dragons.

But one of the possibilities that they came up with is that the reason why people believed in dragons was because back when people were still evolving, they were afraid of three things. Tigers, snakes, and Eagles.. and dragons were just a combination of those three predators.

So that fear was actually genetic, and eventually all three of the animals just came together in peoples minds.. and that's where they said the stories and stuff like that came from. But I like to believe that there is just more to this world then just blaming our biological roots.

Volunteering is awesome! I've been doing it for Gaming conventions and its really fun.

Just as long as you don't end up having to spend all your time working and you actually get a chance to enjoy the con then go for it! And swag is always good!

It was good that everybody walked out ok quotes normyk. It sucks that everything turned out the way it did, but crap happens to everybody (even to the best of us sometimes).

Anywho, I understand what you are saying, you want comitment, you don't want us girls to piddle around and be indecisive. I still feel uncomfortable with the whole pressure/manipulate thing. If I knew someone were doing that to me to convince me to comit to them, it would probably backfire, and I'd back away out of spite. I think it is better to sit down and have a talk about goals, and what you are looking for in a relationship. To treat eachother as intelegent human beings. That's what a good relationship is all about. Being able to talk things out rationally.

Anyways, your entitled to your opinion, I just felt the need to state why I'm uncomfortable about said tactic. I'm not sure if I acomplished that, or if I am just mindlessly rambling.

lol maybe I phrased it wrong, I ment like when you want to start a relationship… or ask the girl out. I hope you don't mind me replying to this instead of Jackyboy, but I think what he's talking about is when your starting the relationship. To kind of get things to move forward a little bit. That's what he means by pressuring. I found that this is to be true, I mean some women can be very fickle sometimes. And just can't make up their mind's. You gotta be assertive.

But I can relate to your break up, I wanted to soo badly have my ex take me back. And because of that stupidity, I ended up going out with her like 5 times always resulting in the same end. Its like we don't understand how things begin and how things end. So it takes someone to be assertive and say "this is bad, I don't want this", or "This might be something I like, so I want to stick with this".

I hope this all makes sense, cuz its like 3 in the morning and I haven't had any sleep since Wednesday. :P
