Probably just a random coincidence, but it's kind of interesting that we just left a place full of mermaids (sometimes called Sirens), and now we have a Harpy (also called Sirens).

Wow, Arlong looks really great I like the dynamic pose a lot. Like everyone, I'm surprised and kind of disappointed that Robin or Brook haven't been painted yet. That better mean they're gonna be really, really good! And I actually love the Shirahoshi hook. The pictures I saw had half the tag cut off, anyone know if she has a price or release date? Also, I've never really been interested in the hooks before so not sure how buying them works. Do they go on preorder?

Wooowww… haven't been in here in so long! (thanks, school!) It is cool to see all the figures that have been announced since then, though I am really loving the Shirahoshi POP. I actually really like her mini-Luffy. There's pretty much no way to make her actually in scale (without paying more than the price of the figure in shipping lol) so I think it looks good that way, even when placed next to a Luffy or other character POP because it just looks like she's on a different scale. Idk if that makes sense? Lol. Only thing I don't like is that random ummm "rear view"... o.O lol. Other than that, she's gorgeous. Any idea when she'll go on pre-order?

Think about all the summer blockbusters that were released this year and see if you can find even one that's an entirely original story.

I got one fake from Play-Asia. I placed the order in April, 2010 (received the confirmation e-mail April 26, 2010) and it was shipped out to me on December 1, 2010.

Yea, my DX Ace from Play-Asia is also fake according to Maggie's comparisons. Honestly, I don't mind so much because the figure is still really nice and I didn't pay a ridiculous amount of $ for it. It is still frustrating, though, that a seemingly reputable store is selling fakes, especially if they're not listening to the e-mails they're getting from you guys. In this case, it wasn't so bad (in my opinion), but if it keeps up, they could sell worse fakes in the future or fakes of figures that are a lot more expensive.

Why was the newer thread deleted?

As much as I love Hot Topic, its true that their clothes isn't always the best quality. I've never bought jeans from them, though. But the ones I have from Torrid really do seem good. Just don't stick them in the washer and they'll be fine. I've gone through many, many jeans and have definitely had worse. Just my two cents, though.

Lol if that were possible I'm in the same boat. I recently discovered that Torrid has some great jeans with a lot of length. Some actually fit me too long! (that's never happened before haha). The only thing is they don't carry below size 12 so I'm gonna have to get mine brought in a bit. It's worth it, though, because they are really nice and fit great. I think you should probably look for stores that sell jeans in different lengths/inseams (that's what they have at Torrid).
Victoria's Secret also sells them like that and their long/tall size fits me great. The bad thing there is that they only sell jeans online and through catalogues so no trying them on before you buy

taboo, you're awesome Ok, so yesterday I finally put my foot down No more junk! I haven't run into any major temptations yet but when I do, I'll remember what you said about the first No. It makes sense that it gets easier after that because you keep thinking back to that one and say to yourself If I give in now, all the others would have been for nothing.
I do have an end goal, and its to get down to a size 6. Last year, I was around a size 10/11 and right now I'm at about 8/9. So, I've got a ways to go but there has been progress

I've never potty trained a dog because mine lives in the backyard. But from what I've read, keeping the dog on a regular feeding/watering schedule really helps because that way you can roughly guess what time they'll have to go potty, and you can take them outside at that time. Also, if they have an accident, take some of it and place it in the area you want them to go at. Then, clean up the accident area very very well, use some of that special spray that removes pet odors if you can (even if you can't smell it, they might still be able to).
Try and google some tips and techniques, you'll probably find some helpful info

The dog's hyperness is probably partially due to the new environment of your house. He wants to explore it all and see what's up. Also, dogs explore with their mouths. As humans, we explore with our hands. When we see something new and want to see what it is, we touch/hold it. Dogs use their mouths instead. If he liked the taste of the tomatoes and chillies, he'll probably keep trying to eat them. To train him not to do this, I would take him to the area and as soon as he looks like he's going to try and eat them, give him a stern "ah-uh!" If he stops, give him a happy "yes!" or "good boy!" and give him a treat. If he doesn't listen, gently pull on his leash to get him away, don't give a treat, and try again. Repition is key and don't be surprised if it takes a couple weeks for him to really get it. It might seem like a chore but I have a great time training my dog Look at it as fun and remember that it serves as bonding time between you two and helps him see that you're in charge
If he remains hyper after a couple days, you definitely need to exercise him (actually, you need to do that whether he's hyper or not), like Chrissie said. Dog parks are great because they can run around a huge area that's fenced off so you don't have to worry about them getting away. But playing games in your own home or going on walks is great, too.

You could just use your regular glasses, it depends on how "complete" you want it. Or maybe since no one actually wants red glasses, you could find some red frames cheap xD

Before I got into one piece, I saw one of the colorspreads (the one where Robin is exposing the guys' legs lol) and I thought Franky looked stupid and that he would be boring and I wouldn't like him. Now he's one of my favorite characters xD
