Mr. 3: He has really proven himself this arc and his wax powers combined with some other people's abilities could be really handy. Plus we really have no story on him and now we have his real name for no reason. He has an interesting design too.

Bon Clay: A given if he is still alive. But he isn't. :(

Perona: Her interaction with Zoro could lead her back to the crew. It is really random to have Zoro land where Perona is. Why would Oda do this at all? Hint at her joining maybe? Another female crew member and she has an interesting power and design. Plus she likely knows about the new world.

Buggy: He is likely going to have a huge bounty on his head now and will need protection. He could accept Luffy but always secretly plot to overthrow him in the end and become Pirate King. Great comic relief and he likely knows a lot about the new world as he was on Roger's ship back in the day. Buggy is a fan favorite too.

It is so Don Krieg if it isn't a brand new character. Don Krieg was a big guy, this was before we had half-giant looking large people too.

Meaning Oda at the time had not planned to make people so large. With Krieg returning he can make him more menacing for his size by upping it. Back when Krieg first appeared he was really big and menacing looking anyways. Oda has inconsistant sizes anyways.

Either that or it is Hattori. The pidgeon was a Zoan all along!

I'd like to note that a Logia is the Essence of an element. It isn't actually the element.

So technically this theory makes a lot of sense. Ice is a logia, yet it is solid. But then again Luffy can't manipulate rubber…

This isn't Dragonball. Explain to me how your going to teach people like the one and only rubberman how to use his rubber powers better. And the only one who could really teach Zoro anything in swordsmanship at this point would be Mihawk himself. Everyone in their crew is pretty much top class in what they do. You can't find a master for masters.

Doesn't need to teach Luffy rubber related things. Or maybe some effecient way of using your battle aura or whatever it is that Shanks had coming off him that knocked out most of Whitebeard's crew.

Zoro could be given advice or given his faults as a swordsman that he needs to overcome.

I don't think Luffy and Zoro need to level up as much as the others, so really the training would benefit the weaker crew much more. Sanji is practically written in to a hole now, it is hard to imagine how he can improve while only using his legs.

There has to be someone living in The New World who has seen all the strongest pirates. Perhaps even helped them out on their journeys, helped prepare them for the troubles ahead. It isn't farfetched.

Maybe the guy can find their strongest battle qualities and help them improve them.

What they need is a trainer. What Genkai was to Yusuke, what Kamesennin/King Kai was to Goku, etc etc.

I can see them meeting some old man in The New World who helped prepare many great pirates for the challenges ahead, including Gol D. Roger.

He will help all of them move up to the next level with various things he teaches them. For example some of the 6 forms… I mean if friggin Coby can learn Soru then I am sure Sanji can.

Brooke will live the attack, everyone else will die.

Brooke will reveal that much like himself he can make them all come back alive using his Devil Fruit. Problem is it can only be done once, so they all come back alive and Brooke can no longer bring any StrawHat back from the dead, so it doesn't become DBZ.

The chapter looks a little different.

Such as no Brooke vs. Ryuuma fight.

OK. So you most likely don't lose your battle abilities when you lose your shadow.

Your fighting abilities are just copied and given to a zombie. Which sucks for that zombie getting Luffy's as his techniques all involve his devil fruit.

This means it is a good chance that Luffy will be awoken and fight OZ. So Luffy has to defeat himself in that zombie body. Zoro will be found and have to beat himself as well.

This sets up the perfect time for Gear 3 to be shown off. Seeing as how OZ is a friggin huge behemoth. Makes me wonder who will beat Moria and co then… Maybe the zombies will rebel and beat them then in turn are defeated by the Strawhats.

Moria's size is inconsistant. I no longer like his design either, he has like no legs.

#900 is a beast. That thing is insanely huge as well. I hope the real villain of this arc is Luffy in #900 and everyone has to try and defeat him after he stomps Moria and co.

I hope they show Luffy's finishing blow in many angles.

Man, they made young Lucci hella badass.

I also love how he looked when he was young.

Gear 2 is Luffy's blood flowing really fast and heating up. So his skin turns pinkish cause of it.

Gear 3 doesn't deal with blood.

They better justify this moment with the right music or ima be pissed.

Hopefully they use the theme they used when he broke the door down in Gear 3.

Oh dear, I never would have imagined that I actually wish I never saw what was lost because of the earthquake broadcast. The whole Buster Call appearance thing was done extraordinarily bad. It stinks, it sucks, it smurfs I can´t even find words for it. And seriously, I often complained about poor artwork but this time it is beyond ridiculous. It is a crime that those guys can call themselves professional artists. Those dorks should be wasted on specials and not on canon episodes.

They most likely do this so that action packed episodes coughGear Thirdcough will look much better in comparison. They want you to actually see the difference.

Its not about Gear 3, well eventually see it anyway. Its about having the whole episode intact.

That'll come eventually. Not missing all that much of the episode and nothing big happens in those last 3 and a half minutes.

Judging by the time left before the preview when it was cut off. Roughly 3 minutes of episode.

The very furthest the episode could have reached would have been Luffy saying Gear Third. So I can be patient now.

While I am disappointed that there isn't an ep available yet, I wasn't too excited for this one. If I knew G3 was in it, that would be another matter entirely.

Technically Gear 3 is about a chapter and a half away from where the last episode left off I believe.

To be perfectly honest, I am more upset about the episode than the earthquake.

I really would have loved the theme to play that played when he did Usopp Pound/Franky burning Blueprints/Franky getting his cola.

I think Brookes not being shown in pictures will play a part.

There will be pictures he is in that we won't know until he gets his shadow back. Like say when he lost his shadow, he disappeared from any pics he had been in.

I think a Seastone edged sword is possible. So that it only works when cutting a DF user or when it connects rather. That way he can cut logias at least.

DF sword is also possible. Would have to be some wierd one like a heat DF (that isn't fire, just one that makes the blade glow in heat). Or maybe a size DF that allows the sword to extend in size or girth…

Can't friggin wait. This is when the arc REAAAALLY picks up.

This chapter seems to prove that logia defense is NOT automatic. Or at the very least that Fire can clash with Darkness.

I wonder what darkness will be capable of. I am sure it will be able to make the surroundings darkness to blind Ace. But Ace can just erupt in to giant flames and attack all around….

Hmmmm, or it takes away light. Which Fire is.

Also I am now pretty positive that Blackbeard will have more strong crew members before he clashes with the SHs. Perhaps even stolen Whitebeard members, like a cook.

Dont compare DBZ to One Piece,Every shounen needs a power up every once in awhile.

Wrong, all should be compared to DBZ.
In essence, DBZ is what inspired many of these mangas.

Power ups are what DBZ is known for as well.

But I feel Gears are more like Ultra SSJ and SSJ2. One of them makes you much stronger, but slower. One of them increases your strength and speed, but the strength isn't at Ultra SSJ. (Trunks showed he could keep powering up to get stronger and stronger in USSJ. To the point of even surpassing Cell's power, but not being able to hit him.)

Ao Kiji's weakness would be heat.

Once his body can no longer be the element of ice, as in the ice turns to water. It will return to normal and be hit. Gear 2 may be hot enough with enough friction to cause enough heat to do it. Also Sanji's fire kick.

Smoker is odd. I don't know what his weakness is, possibly water or fire.

Ace's weakness is water, pretty simple. But the water must be enough to put out the flame. Because enough fire will just overpower the water.

Definently a wind logia. Which is hax.

How hard would it be to find someone who can turn in to wind?
