Nektar…to give a serious moment here, theres a difference between hikkikomorism and being a nerd. For one..if you were you'd never leave the house, or for that matter, even talk to people via a forum. For one...you are not a hikikomori. I had a delve with reclusiveness that could be considered hikkikomorism, but that is becuase I let EVERYTHING go....even including talking to people via the internent (I am an AP Forums Vet from a couple years back. This account itself wasn't acessed for about two years up until recently.) But even though it could be considered hikkikomorism in a sense...it really wasn't, and on top of that, the thing I had to do in all honesty to get myself out of that shape was just this simple: I HAD TO GROW HE FUCK UP AND BE A MAN ABOUT SHIT!

Hikikomorism isn't something to be proud of, and it seems more to me that you are just using it as some way to gain some pity points & label yourself without basically calling yourself what all fo us here are...A NERD!

If you live your life letting every tiny thing bring you down and constantly feeling sorry for yourself and are too sorry to even make a step forward and stop living in the past,....then you're better off not having any human contact like a TRUE hikky would. The past is called the past for a reason.

It could've been a serious series in that vein and been acceptable if it were that way from the start….but that just wasn't the case.

The manga is much better, but it hasn't finished yet. It's still in serialization in Shonen Ace if i'm not mistaken.

I've seen the whole series…the drama is good at the end but at the same time it's a little TOO serious for such a humor filled series.

I didn't like how they'd omit Satous drug trips when it converted to anime.

I've been freaking on Metropolis's manga again. I just love the way the man was always able to tell a complete story, no matter what the page count context was.

I could never stand Sakura from Naruto or Toguro from Yuu Yuu Hakusho…those are, in all honesty, the only ones I can think I hate when they're on screen

Oh man, last nights ep. was fuckin' hilarious. VIZ is doing a really good job at changing the jokes around for american audiences. For instance, Don Patch's "Wig Out Fight" with Bo-bobo, when they changed the Chikuwa (a type of fried fish snack) that Don Patch is selling to Churros (A type of mexican pasty dish) I almost died. It was hilarious seeing his face as he stood over that one guy trying to feed him the "Churros". LOL!! Then the Magic Wand gag was changed from the original japanese version, a parody of a Magical Girl Show called "Witch Girl - Kiyomi-chan", to the one we got last night (which was by the way, equally hilarious). Bo-bobo: "Gimme the fighting power of 1,000 cabbages!" HAHAHAHA!!

It brings a tear to my eye to know that theres such a great job being done on this dub.

It may be pseudo satanic 80's metal, but for some reason, I can't get the songs lyrics and rythym outta my head. This song is awesome for just about any rock lover.

Yeah, where he has so much enthusiam is pretty annoying but other than that I find it fairly easy to over look it. The dub is pretty solid by my standards.

This song is hilarious as hell, has awesome metal riffs, and has..gasp..James Hetfield of Metallica and Maynard James Keenan of Tool and A Perfect Circle on backing vocals. A Must have for anyone who like awesome and humourous rock.

Okay, since Carnage has already been nominated I guess I'll nominate Captain Marvel (Shazam!) since he's my favorite old school hero next to Superman. Can't have a comic hero tournament without Cap'n Marvel, he's a true classic….and hopefully no one has nominated him yet.

Yeah, there's no hope in that though. Raijin's "hiatus" and the loss of some of their liscenses basically means that they wont be back….ever.

I'll nominate Johnny the Homicidal Maniac from the comic of the same name because he's a crazy killin' machine (he made an angel puke for god's sake) and Carnage from Spider Man because he is also a crazy killin' machine who probobly could also make angels puke…..and their about the only american comics I can think of right now.

BTW Green Hair: The Headbanging Silent Bob goes right along with the songs i'm playing right now.
