There's probably nothing I can say about this chapter that hasn't been said already, except that I thought it was awesome. I was also surprised to see the return of Sanchezbeard (yes, that's what I call him), though I shouldn't have been since Oda has a habit of introducing characters in unexpected ways and having them reappear in the story further down the line (especially with Rayleigh).

RE: Chapter 651 : "The Voice From The New World"
Great chapter, I also noticed that Oda pulled a couple of fakeouts before actually showing Big Mom herself (so to speak). She looks to have a rather interesting and funny crew. As for Big Mom herself, she isn't very funny at all. In fact, I was quite disturbed by her. She's a gigantic, cannibalistic monstrosity who eats her crewmembers for no reason and destroys entire islands for candy. The last part we learned in the previous chapter but still, combined with the other things we learned about her just confirms that she's insane!
Honestly, I haven't been this freaked out over a One Piece villain since Akainu!
Also, this song definitely fits Big Mom…
BTW, thanks to Baou Zakurga, for pointing out Zoro's and Sanji's reactions to Luffy raging at Big Mom over the Transponder Snail (LMAO I haven't seen Zoro grin like that since… EVER).

LOL@Hody getting owned by arthritis when he tries to bend the bars.
Great chapter!

RE: Chapter 622: "The Pirate of Sun" Discussion
Zeo used to were pants… SHOCKING!!!
Yeah and he's the first fishman I've seen NOT wearing sandals (he's wearing boots).
–---------------------
What can I say about this chapter that hasn't been said already? The things that stood out for me is Arlong becoming the extremist of the crew, Jinbe's brutality and slight hints at his change-of-character, and Koala, who is a quite an unfortunate product of slavery, to say the least.
It's been known that Fisher Tiger despised humans but it's interesting to see that he doesn't go out of his way to seek revenge against them (despite his inner Arlong wanting otherwise) nor does he want to kill them. I thought it was cool to learn that pretty much went Rambo on Mariejois for one simple reason: SLAVERY SUCKS ASS. I can't wait to see what happens in the next chapter.
BTW, you just KNOW Franky's gonna build something epic with those Legos.
-
RE: Chapter 621: Otohime and Tiger
I like Otohime, she'll break her fin off in someones ass (literally)! It's interesting to see a noble character who's willing to stoop down to the levels of common folk to teach them the error or their ways (even if it's something silly like a snotty nose). Also, seeing Shirahoshi as a baby, all I could think was "Wisky… Please" (Simpsons joke), though she was probably conceived like a regular fish. If so, then how big was the EGG???
As for the Fishman Pirates, I was thoroughly confused when Arlong told Jinbe to lay off the unconscious human. Obviously, there was a turning point that made him an even bigger dick towards humans, Fisher Tiger's death must have had something to do with it. Speaking of Fisher Tiger, I guess his epic one-man-army attack on Mariejois was too epic for even Oda to illustrate.

Damn, while making my post I forgot to mention Kuroobi's epic afro!
-
RE: Chapter 620: "The Theme Park We Dreamed Of" Discussion
Oda just blew my fucking mind with this chapter.
-Gaimon and Sarfunkel… It took me a sec to see what Oda did there, but I LOL'ed anyway.
-The New Fishman Pirates are already beginning their takeover of the island and I had no idea that Ikaros Muhhi was so damn big. Also, I can't wait to see Zeo and Hyozo in action!
-Sanji getting serious about the Jinbe/Arlong situation was pretty cool (not to mention the hilarity of him passing the third teacup with his foot after holding it in his hand seconds before)
-Also, the additional looks at Nami's past were a great touch. I got a bit emotional when it showed that Arlong's henchmen pretty much fed her scraps and when she got shot in the arm by the pirates she robbed.
-Regarding Queen Otohime and Fisher Tiger, they obviously had opposing viewpoints as to how to handle the discrimination from humans. We know how FT died but I wonder what happened to the queen.
-Finally, the true significance of Arlong Park makes so much sense it's almost scary (I read the livejournal link someone posted before)!LOL@ Luffy drinking Nami's tea. Odds are he's gonna completely ignore almost every aspect of Jinbe's story and focus on the main details. It'll be just like when Vivi told the Straw Hats about the crisis in Alabasta, all he cared about was the big picture: CROCODILE. Hell, he wasn't even interested in Nami's life story, all he knew was that she was in trouble and some asshole named Arlong made her cry.
I can't wait to see the significance this flashback will hold for the present.

RE: Anyone else here watched Cyber Six ?
@No:
It's long dead though.
Yeah, I know. I just haven't seen it in forever.
-
RE: Anyone else here watched Cyber Six ?
Yeah, I've seen that show. It's been years and I only caught a few episodes so my memory of the show is extremely vague, at best. All I remember is that the main character masqueraded as a guy and she fought mutants or something). Also, I apparently forgot just how gorgeous the animation was in that show… Wow!
Long live the Fox Kids Network (That's where I saw it)!
-
RE: Great series that were cancelled?
The Spectacular Spider-Man and Sonic the Hedgehog (SatAM) come to mind. I noticed that somebody mentioned The Tick (live-action), I miss that show as well.
-
RE: General Ninja Turtles thread
I know the turtles differ with each incarnation, I'm just referring to the weapons (which, for the most part have remained consistent). I can't really judge the series as a whole from a tiny clip, anyway.
I do hope they don't make it TOO MUCH like the original 80s-90s cartoon series.
-
RE: Most overrated movies?
Well, in this film they are not friends, but are involved in a love triangle that ultimately factors into Harvey's transformation into Two-face. Nolan originally wanted to introduce Two-face in the third by having Joker scar him with acid(similar to Long Halloween) but dropped it, since they wanted a more 'emotional ending' to that film. When Two-face first appeared(in the comics) he was mostly a one-bit villan who didn't have any relationship with Bruce Wayne prior to becoming Two Face– the element of them being friends prior to his transformation is an innovation of the 90's series and in terms of the Batman's persona the modern comics(Year one, Long Halloween). Unlike in the comics, this film has Dent and Batman as merely uneasy allies with both using each other for their own gain. I do agree that Dent was rushed, it would have been better to have him as a cameo in the Begins or something(which Nolan originally wanted) but it worked for the direction the Nolan series wanted for the film. Also I kinda don't care for the ferry scene I thought it was pretty awkward to be placed in the film now I get what Nolan was trying to convey with that scene but it was too dragged out for my taste.
Late reply, but thanks for the info about Two-Face. Obviously, all I know about the guy I learned from the animated series.

Normally, I'm not such a purist that I don't call foul on things that are changed in adaptations, but…...
Mikey with a chain scythe?

Apologies to anyone else who noticed the similarities and posted before me.

What guy? Damn short-term memory loss.

RE: Chapter 617: "The Shocking Incident at Coral Hill" Discussion
@RPG:
I knew it was a matter of time before megalo hawked shirahoshi up. Hodi is nothing but arlong 2.0 . just add more cruelty.sanji will have his senses back hopefully since he had an overload of hot mermaids.nami will hopefully come back to help zoro beat hodi
You know what's funny? I was gonna make an "Arlong 2.0" comment when I was typing up my post but I changed my mind.
Anyhoo, he's definitely more evil than Arlong (the fishman shield pretty much sealed that fact).
-
RE: Chapter 617: "The Shocking Incident at Coral Hill" Discussion
@Mr.:
I hope Nami didn't regress back to being a scared child and run away when hodi reminded her of Arlong. It would be understandable though.
Heh, sounds like Samus, in Metroid: Other M.
-
RE: Chapter 617: "The Shocking Incident at Coral Hill" Discussion
Damn, Hodi is quite deadly, even without the Energy Steroids! He's inflicting wounds just by flinging water drops from his arms and hands! Definitely an upgrade from Arlong's throw a handful of water with enough force to cause bruising and internal damage. Also, he's definitely got no problem using his fellow fishmen as a shield, even Arlong wouldn't stoop that low (I think).
I just hope Zoro can at least put up a fight before the inevitable curbstomping ensues.
Also, there's the speculation of Nami and the possibility of certain old wounds being reopened in this arc. This is something that has been foreshadowed ever since they learned that Fishman Island was an inevitable stop on their journey and it looks like Oda is ready to "go there" as some would say. The question now is, "where did she run off to?"
BTW, I LOL'ed when Usopp kicked Brook for his poorly-timed joke and when Megalo barfed up the Shirahoshi.
-
RE: Most overrated movies?
I thought Dark Knight was the shit when I first saw it in theaters, but after repeated viewings on DVD, I began to realize that the movie was thirty minutes too long and that they shouldn't have killed Harvey/Two-Face right away. Speaking of Harvey, wasn't he supposed to be Bruce's best friend? I know he was in the animated series, but what about the comics?
Anyway, they should have saved Two-Face for the sequel or something.
-
RE: Chapter 608: "Paradise Under the Sea" Discussion
As I said, he looks way more like shiliew than Arlong.
It's the nose, man!
I wouldn't rule out the idea of this guy being a relative of Arlong's, but I also keep in mind that Oda makes it a habit to try and avoid cliches and doing the unexpected. After, over a decade, he has proven over and over that he's got a knack for that.
In other words, this guy being related to Arlong is POSSIBLE, but NOT LIKELY (if Oda has anything to say about it).
-
RE: Chapter 608: "Paradise Under the Sea" Discussion
@$abZ:
Like the one on her arm she got from kniving herself lol.
Heh, I saw that joke coming a mile away. Then again, I thought about making that joke, myself.
As for roronoa3000's question about the "Shiliew" thing, Oda himself Romanized it as such.
-
RE: Chapter 608: "Paradise Under the Sea" Discussion
I'm expecting Nami to have a big part in this arc/saga. Based on her reactions whenever she's reminded of her time with Arlong (she looked rather pale when Kokoro told them that FI was an inevitable destination, pausing when she recognized Hacchan's voice, and recently seeing the Arlong tat again), I expect to see the reopening of some nasty old wounds.
-
RE: Chapter 608: "Paradise Under the Sea" Discussion
Damn, Fishman Island is gonna be insane! Hell, the insanity began a few chapters ago with the Kraken and the Flying Dutchman, but now that the Straw Hats have actually arrived (finally), shit is about to get real!!
I think it's cool that we've already learned so much about the place and that there's still much more that's gonna happen! The little quintuplets were adorable and funny, I almost thought they were Keimi's children until I continued reading. Apparently, they're just friends of hers and she's not a "Mer-MILF." ducks incoming gunfire
BTW, when I looked closely at the bubble on the Sea Turtle Elevator, I noticed the kanji for "kame" (turtle) was drawn in a similarly-stylized manner as some Dragon Ball Z merchanise I've seen where the "kame" character resembles a "Z." Check it out for yourselves here…...
http://mangastream.com/read/one_piece/32383345/14
I'm still trying to find an image of a DBZ t-shirt which features the "Z-kame" character.
As usual, Sanji continues to be pure, comedic gold. I especially LOL'ed when Luffy pointed out his crying being more excessive than when he left Baratie. He's so overwhelmed that he claims to have found the All Blue! Seriously, you could shoot him right now and he'd die without a single regret! Without a doubt, Sanji is officially the post-timeskip comic relief for the crew!
Well, I'll just wrap up my thougts by mentioning three things…...
-
Caribou is gonna get loose and ruin shit for everybody (starting with the mermaids, no less!)
-
Who the frig is the leader of the New Fishman Pirates?! His shadowy face resembles Arlong's, but with Shiliew's nose (I hope he's a great white shark fishman).
-
I really don't have to say how hot that mermaid splashpage was......

WELL! Excuse ME for not having 24-hour internet access anymore!
All snootyness aside, I do remember actually predicting it before some others…... now where's my medal? Seriously, I'll PM my address to someone if necessary!
Okay, no more jokes, 'twas a great chapter and I certainly didn't expect them having to travel so deep below the surface to get to Fishman Island.

I SO EFFING CALLED IT!!!
Anyway, it was great to see the Monster Trio strutting their stuff once again. Another thing I've noticed (and I'm sure the rest of you have noticed it, too) is Luffy using Haki with Gear 3rd and his arm turning black. Many people have speculated for a long time that the next step for Luffy's growth is vulcanization and it really looks like he pulled something similar when he knocked out the Kraken.
-
RE: Chapter 603: "Keep it in Your Heart" Discussion
Damn, that was fast! All I have to say about the reveals featured in this chapter, such as the Caribou brothers, Kuma, the resilience of the ship's coating, and ESPECIALLY the straw hat…...

Effing...

I knew there was some kind of connection between Roger and Luffy, but GEEZ! It makes even more sense when you think about Shanks telling Beckman that Luffy reminds him of his younger self (see Romance Dawn).

RE: Dragonball Discussion
That is because both Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z have the same music composers. To be honest, I like hearing Dragon Ball music playing in Dragon Ball Z, considering that they're really just the same shows. About as much of same shows as Naruto is to Naruto Shippuden. The Dragon Ball music to me screams Dragon Ball.
Late reply, I know (haven't been on AP in a couple of days).
Anyway, I know that both shows have the same composers, but the score for that particular movie felt more like DB than DBZ, IMO.
-
RE: Dragonball Discussion
Maybe it's just me, but the original Japanese score for DBZ movie 5 sounds a lot like music you'd hear in the original Dragon Ball series. All I know is that it sounds quite unique from the other movies. The music that plays when Piccolo is fighting Cooler's Armored Squadron sounds like something that should be playing while Goku is fighting Tao Pai Pai, or something.
Meh, just figured I'd post my thoughts on that.

RE: Chapter 589: The Ambition of Turbulence
Yeah, and Oda once drew Crocodile without his hook. Errors can happen. :ninja:
Yep, Arlong had human teeth once.
Anyhoo, great chapter as usual. I loved the montage of Luffy and Ace training and growing up. Interesting to see that Sabo is still alive, but why he never showed up at Marineford is yet-to-be-seen. I'm especially interested in seeing where Oda is going from this point in the story.
After losing his crew (sure, they're more-or-less okay, but still…), Bon Clay's sacrifice, and going through all that trouble just for Ace to die right in front of him, Luffy has every reason to doubt himself. How is he going to snap out of this depression? I can't say for sure because I'm terrible at trying to predict Oda's next move.

RE: Boondocks
Crazy episode, wouldn't be surprised if Tyler Perry gets upset by this…
Seriously, WTF is up with the damn bees?!
-
RE: Boondocks
@Zoro's:
Lamilton is a really messed up child… O.o
You know what's even more messed up? He's based on a real kid. Just Google the name "Latarian Milton" and you'll see that this episode is heavily based on his "hood rat" exploits and love for "doing bad things."
-
RE: Chapter 586 "A Fetid Town" Discussion
Thanks for clearing that up.
I was wondering the same exact thing. I don't think that is just a coincidence.
My first guess is that it is someone that got bumped up to World Noble status after the WG Inspection and is someone the audience has seen.
This wouldn't surprise me, especially when Garp's face was covered during one of the mini-flashbacks about Ace's past that happened during the war. I was pretty sure it was Garp, but some others on another One Piece discussion board believed it could have been somebody else.
Anyway, this was a good chapter. I'm loving how Oda is fleshing out Luffy's past with Ace, showing that the Celestial Dragons are also connected to the events that have occurred. I hope Sabo makes it out of this. Yeah, I know he most likely will, but I still can't help but wonder!
Oh, and Sabo's adopted brother is a little douchehat! However, I have a feeling we may see him again in the current storyline…...
EDIT Oh yeah, I have a few things to say about the cover picture! Hina obviously convinced Smoker to go bar-hopping via a Camel-Taxi and from the looks of Hina, they've already made a few stops before the current point! Either, Smoker's the more levelheaded of the two, or he's just holding his liquor better than she is. BTW, the Band-aids on Hina's leg are a nice touch to show off her tough lady side.

RE: Dragonball Discussion
I picked up Volume 1 of DBZ Kai on DVD last Thursday. I'm really glad to have the opportunity to watch DBZ in English WITHOUT questioning the sanity of the writers at FUNimation. Not only that, it's pretty refreshing to watch this show without all the padding and filler that dragged it down in the past! My only complaint is that the set ends with Goku using the Kaio-Ken X3 and getting ready to hand Vegeta an ass-whooping!
Despite owning the set, I decided to tune in to the premiere on Nicktoons. Aside from the goof-up with Bardock's missing scar, the edited version isn't so bad. Also, they kept in the scene of Kid Goku blasting straight through King Piccolo (which was edited out of the Toonami airing of Dragon Ball). I wonder how many episodes they ordered for a season? If anybody knows, feel free to share the info.

RE: Chapter 0 anime?
While on the OP Wikia page, I saw what looked like an anime screenshot of young Moria at Roger's execution. It was unmistakable, Chapter 0 was animated in some shape or form. I looked it up on YouTube and there it was!
one viewing later
It was just as awesome to watch as it was to read! Seeing a bit more light shed upon the OP World is always cool, especially when it's animated so nicely! Also, it's still a HUGE nostalgia bomb to see all those characters from the past in their younger days. I still have yet to watch the movie because I'm waiting for subs. Then again, I'll probably watch the RAW anyway when I get bored enough (I even skipped the recap at the beginning of the episode).
Shakky…
Good Lord. My jaw literally dropped at the sight of her! Aren't they actually SMALLER in the present storyline? Maybe she decided to wear more "restraining" clothing when she beat down one drunken groper too many?
Anyhoo, seeing Chapter 0 turned into Episode 0 was quite awesome, with Shakky being an unexpected bonus! I'll end by saying that the shot of Garp and Sengoku throwing off their coats was epic win!
-
RE: Chapter 582: "Luffy and Ace" Discussion Thread
Jimbei's reaction was perhaps more telling.
Yeah, I can only imagine how bad Jimbei feels for Luffy. Seriously, the guy was ballsy enough to break into Impel Down and fight against Marine HQ's strongest forces to rescue Ace, only to see Ace die right in front of him! Jimbei is definitely heartbroken to see Luffy suffer after such a horrible turn-of-events.

RE: Kick-Ass (2010)
! In the comic, Big Daddy gave her a red capsule type thing and told her it was only for emergencies. She snort it on the elevator before killing all the baddies before the final boss. It was suppose to give her strength. Kick ass thought it was cocaine, but she said it was a super secret chemical compound designed by scientists.
What he said.
! Though it's implied that Condition Red is cocaine because she was none-the-wiser about it (especially that look of childlike ignorance in her eyes when she tells Kick-Ass what it is), which feeds more into the fact that she's just a naive child turned into a living weapon.
Either way, I still stand by what I said earlier, including THAT in the movie would have made it BEYOND FUCKED UP (but still enjoyable)!
-
RE: Kick-Ass (2010)
Fucking awesome movie!
I saw it Friday night and had a blast! More changes were made to the story than I thought (especially a certain one at the end), however, the more I think about it, the more I accept it as just another part of the insane clusterf**k of AWESOMESAUCE that is Kick-Ass!
! Of course, everything with Hit-Girl was epic, though that's not to say the rest of the cast wasn't memorable! That parking lot beatdown was just awesome and the line spoken by Dave really got me pumped! Big Daddy's warehouse massacre was fucking metal! Even Red Mist was fleshed out from the comics, and despite being an asshole, he was still somewhat sympathetic. However, I'm disappointed that they left out the line spoken by Dave when he's narrating about how Red Mist is stealing his thunder. It was something like "At first I was Heroes season one, but now I'm season fucking TWO!!" Seriously, that was one of the greatest lines in the comics, not to mention it was funny AND true!
! The action scenes were well-choreographed, especially that warehouse massacre (nice choice of music, too)! The amount of violence and gore was cringe-inducing, but the comics were ultra-violent so it's to be expected if the movie has an R-rating (honestly, I didn't expect them to actually show that guy getting killed in the car crusher)! I would say I'm upset by the changes made to the characters, but I'm not as picky as most comic book fans, I guess. Turning Katie into an actual compassionate character was an improvement IMO, because she was a bitch in the comics and I can't stand girls like that. Speaking of which, I was glad that Dave got his happy ending, it wouldn't be his movie if he got screwed over like he did in the comics.
! Lastly, changing the details of Big Daddy and Hit-Girl's origins was necessary, such as NOT making Big Daddy a crackpot comic book geek who kidnapped his infant daughter and ditched his wife, not to mention omitting the whole "Condition Red" thing. Either one of those two things would have made the movie BEYOND fucked up… NOT in a good way, either (though still enjoyable)! Seriously, people are already getting their panties in a bunch over Hit-Girl herself, seeing her unknowingly doing a hit of coke on the big screen would send EVEN MORE people off the deep end!
! BTW, KzTxL7… Yes, that was the same guy from those previous incidents.All-in-all, it was a ridiculously entertaining movie and I'm gonna see it again, the DVD is definitely going into my collection!

What's all this stuff I keep hearing about Season Two Sixth Voyage having the 'Family' song in it? Yeah, I know it was used as a special ending for the Alabasta arc, but is FUNi actually gonna include it on the DVD set?

RE: Chapter 577 "The Incident Continues to Escalate"
You've got to be FUCKING with me, Oda…...
TWO ABILITIES?!!
EDIT I guess this is what Blackbeard meant when he said he was gonna do something that'll shake the world to its core, because I'm definitely shaking now!
-
RE: Chapter 576 "The Great Pirate Edward Newgate" Discussion
This was probably mentioned already, but I think that Blackbeard was anticipating Whitebeard spilling the beans about the existence of One Piece and the inevitable war against the World Govt itself. Hell, he even laughed once it happened! This was likely the thing that's going to "shake the world to its core" he mentioned in Impel Down.

RE: Ivankov's Gender-Changing Hormones!
I've been popping in and out of this thread to experience the sheer insanity that goes on in here. Honestly, lots of the gender-swap character pics look really good. Some of them are just hilarious (the winner of this thread is "Mancock"). Anyway, I saw this one on DA but I'm not sure if it's been shown here or not, but here's my favorite interpretation of the Admirals.

RE: Chapter 575 "Anger without words" Discussion
DUDE!
Poor Luffy is traumatized to the point he can no longer function (hell, he can't even freaking CRY, for God's sake) but it looks like his unfathomable grief is taking its toll on his body! Whitebeard is no longer pulling his punches against Akainu! He took out even more of Marineford in two attacks than everyone else did in this entire war combined…
...And he gets half his face burned off in the process.
...
...
...DAMN!
Oh, and from the looks of it, Blackbeard recruited those death row inmates, just like we thought he would (what a fearsome looking bunch they are). Then again, my memory of the past chapters has been fuzzy lately. Perhaps the manga specifically stated that BB was looking for those people and I just don't remember it.
Anyway, this chapter was amazing! Luffy's WAAAAY out of his league, without a doubt. Sure, he has "the gift," but it's potential he himself has yet to understand. Also, with WB going all-out and BB on the scene, you can bet your ass the next chapter will be... Oh, poopy. No new chapter next week. I'm pretty sure that whatever BB is gonna do, he's gonna do it VERY SOON... but not soon enough.
-
RE: Chapter 566 "Fierce Attack" Discussion
What an amazing chapter! Luffy taking on all three admirals with zero regard for the consequences was quite awesome (I bet that part will be lengthened in the anime). Also, I like how Crocodile delayed Ace's execution just to annoy the Marines. Last, but not least, Oars Jr. wins big time for delivering the pirates to the execution platform!
Oh, and as for Sengoku, all I have to say is…
Daddy has finally taken his belt off!

RE: TMNT 25th Anniversary TV Movie coming this Fall
When this thing hits store shelves, it is SO going into my DVD collection!
I am so glad I was able to watch this on TV, because The CW vanished from my TV line-up months ago, but my roommate and I discovered that it's now an HD-only channel (hell if I know, I should ask Comcast). So we watched it on our 19" HDTV and we enjoyed it. However, my roommate said that the outcome of the final battle was "predictable."
"Predictable" how???
I was just enjoying the ride, not trying to play guessing games with the plot! My only complaint is that whoever they picked to do '80s Shredder's voice doesn't even begin to hold a candle to James "Uncle Phil" Avery. Also, I literally laughed out loud several times during the movie…
The gags involving the '80s TMNT crew were great, though a tad bit played up (then again, the '80s cartoon did get EXTREMELY cheesy on many occasions). Even so, the gags were still funny...
! -'80s Raph breaking the 4th wall (I LOLed when Hun got tired of wondering who Raph was talking to)
-2K3 Mikey loving the shell out of the '80s crew's antics (eventually, even HE got sick of it)
-Shredder and Krang acting like an old married couple
-'80s April being the constant damsel-in-distress (THAT was definintely not an exaggeration)
-Mirage Shredder randomly gets pelted by garbage, courtesy of the '80s Turtles (IMO, THAT was the funniest part of the movie)
-Of course the big one was when Bebop and Rocksteady save the multiverseOh, man, I can't even list all of my favorite moments, or I'd be here all day! Basically, this was definitely a treat for any and all TMNT fans, not to mention an excellent send-off for one of my most-beloved childhood favorites (well, at least until the next movie and Nick/Viacom try their hands at the franchise).
-
RE: TMNT 25th Anniversary TV Movie coming this Fall
I am so pumped for this!
Unfortunately, I no longer get 4KidsTV in my town, because The CW disappeared from my local television line-up months ago. Anyway, despite the fact that I grew up with the original '80s cartoon, I always figured that I'd no longer be able to stomach watching it because it was SOOOO cheesy. Watching the clip actually put a big smile on my face BECAUSE of the cheese and that they weren't afraid to go there! Also, you really could set your watch to how danger-prone April was.
I'm gonna have to torrent this bad-boy once it hits the net.
