We might. I want to stay away from making constant jokes about 4Kids. The way I see it, the constant use of 4Kids humor is a crutch, AKA a cheap joke to use when you can't think of anything else to add. While it's okay to use sparingly, overall you shouldn't use it a lot
sorry if this is either in the wrong thread or isn't allowed to be posted. i had no knowledge of it beforehand, and i didn't see any topics about this, and i didn't see anything in the rules, so…yeah. if this thread violates any rules, feel free to lock or delete it (though, i guess you wouldn't need my permission)
i want a signature of the picture posted below cropped to fit the size of a typical signature, and at the top left, put "Sorry, but I don't pray to god..." (without the quotations, of course) and add whatever effects you think would look good with the picture (please add something to make it look good, i don't want it to be boring…)

yeah, mippa was great. she had the best nami audition…out of the 2 that i got, but more impressively, she sounded very similar to the funimation voice (which i think sounds very close to the japanese voice actor)
my internet connection's being an asshole, so it's taking a little while to hear the voice clips. once i hear them, i'll edit this post and tell you what i think
yeah, i feel if i acknowledge that i'm taking a joke from yu gi oh abridged, it's not as bad, because i'm not hiding it. it's similar to what hbi2k did with his first episode of berzerk abridged by referencing yu gi oh abridged in the very first line

by the way, sogekingms, i watched gotta watch it y'all, and i loved it. it brought back so many memories of my days as a 7 year old, being an overly obsessed pokemon geek (yes, i was one of those kids..) i loved that bit with the rocks "to catch pokemon, you need to throw pokeballs. not rocks" XD. oh, and i subscribed to you as well
Haha, that's actually quite similar to a joke I did in episode one of my Abridged Pokémon series, "Pokémon: Gotta Watch it Y'all!" (Or GWIY as I like to call it.)
that's kind of funny, lol. i based my joke on the fact that there's SOOO many anime character that want to be the king or leader of something (naruto, luffy, ash, light, yugi, the main character from shaman king who i forget the name of, the list goes on…)
TO EVERYONE: here are some scenes for future episodes that i'd thought of randomly when i was close to my computer and got to type them before i forgot them. these scenes are below:

well, i can consider you for writing, but i'll have to take it up with the other creator
just remember, for writing an abridged series, the basic story has to still be explained, or else…well...it's just not an abridged series. it'd just be a parody series. another thing to do is not make too many internet reference jokes, like "barrel rolls" and "shoop da whoop" as a few examples. just keep those in mind for writing. i know that we didn't exactly take our own advice in these categories, but we wrote this before we saw little kuriboh's "abridged 101" video
editing...well, i'm the current editor for the series, and though i'm no professional, i'd like to say i'm good at what i do. check my youtube profile for my stuff[/shameless plug]. i mentioned editing just in case i can't do editing or something. so yeah
TO EVERYONE ELSE: it's great that you love the script, but we'd also like some constructive criticism on the script as well
like with what? editing? voicing? writing? editing we might need help on, voicing we'll take if you're good enough, but we don't really need to much help on it. writing we could use some help on, since we're not the most original people. lol

gozar…i don't know why no one seems to like it, it's not bad. sure the mic quality isn't the best, and the style isn't exactly in the style of an "abridged series", but it's still funny, i'd say
toonlord's kinda sucks. i'll admit, i've only seen one episode of it, but it still kinda sucked
moar better abridged was good, but a lot of the jokes were a bit too random for may taste. kinda like it was one big inside joke that wasn't explained. and the whole "skipping to an episode way far in the show" was kinda weird. but yeah, the overall quality wasn't bad, and it made me laugh a few times
