Goddd, what a huge chapter. Even with over a year of build-up everything managed to be to so intense. Jobin has really solidified himself as Gappy's antithesis, even if he doesn't wind up being the Main Villain of the part, he's definitely proving to be Gappy's foil in so many ways. Can't wait for next chapter.

simply put, it tries much much too hard to be a "darker and more mature" series with the Adventure cast and ultimately comes out of it as just a bunch of poorly written, poorly paced movies with so little actual substance that it becomes a wonder how they kept making them after the increasingly vitriolic reactions to each new one.

Well, Tri was pretty universally reviled, and it's left a pretty bad taste in people's mouths ever since.

I'm ultimately more upset that this reboot is taking Kitaro's spot and delaying Dragon Ball's return even further.

These past few chaptes have also left me puzzled as to what Tsurumi's men thoughts truly are. A couple chapters back I wouldn't have doubted for a second that they're all a bunch of crazy zealots blindly following him, but it seems like some cracks might be starting to show in that relationship. Interested to see if there's gonna be some form of payoff to that.

Koito realizing that Tsurumi was responsible for his kidnapping definitely makes me think that he'll make a decisive defection to Sugimoto's team later down the line.
Tsukishima is just clearly broken by all this and just riding it out to see how it ends.

One of the reasons that make me question why Giorno is considered Dio's son instead of Jonathan's.

I mean, from the neck down it's Jonathan's body including, you know, the little Giornos and Ungaros swimming around. Only reason I could see for Dio to be seen as the biological father is if some vampirism was passed down, but it wasn't. The Joestar connection is there, though (not to mention it makes the 6 first JoJo into 3 perfect pairs of father+child)

100+ years of Dio head on Jonathan body had to have done something to his baby batter
