It was actually us who made him popular on this site. Like we always post all stuff that is related with BB.

A friend of the Youtuber had exclusive content from some Bandai meeting. After that everybody thought he is like an insider and all his content would be right. Which was wrong. 2 or 3 Videos were new to us and had value but other than that the rest is bullshit.

And nobody would be mad if he wouldn't use click bait titles.

PW3 featured the most important characters of OP.

Including
3 Yonkos
All Shichibukais (except WB Jr.)
All Marine Admirals (except Sengoku)

If BB fills these holes with some characters that always seems to be forgotten by the developers then this really could become One Piece' Budokai Tenkaichi 3.

Beat 'Em Up's criteria:
Story Mode
Characters
Combos

It seems that (anime) games have two of these three criterias.
BT3 had a huge amount of characters and a nice set of combos. But a really cheap Story Mode.

Storm has also a huge amount of characters (but not that much) and a nice Story Mode. But the combos are extremely limited.

PW3 had a little bit of each. It normally doesn't fit in this category but nevermind.

I prefer Characters and Combos over Story Mode but maybe we ever get all three

Well Shanks was not the ordinary made up Character. Because besides knowing he has a sword and can use all 3 Hakis, we know nothing about his fighting style.

But with X-Drake and Kidd we know at least some of their DF Moves.

Oda is 0% involved with this or pirate warriors games.

A fighting game with only Characters that we know enough Attacks would be non playable.

I prefer more characters that we don't know of over only characters that we know everything of.

I really hope it is not restricted to 3v3 even though this would mean a gigantic roster for sure. Because if not there wouldn't be much variety.

Yeah.

The stage damage is exactly like in J Stars.

I do love to see BB having a nice storymode but BT3 probably the best anime game ever didn't have a real storymode. You just fought all the villains and that was it.
And it still was awesome.

So if BB has a really huge roster and a good variety of combos then it could be a great game despite not having a decent Storymode.

And when it gets all three major points it could become better than BT3
I hope so.

One Piece needs that. Dragonball has his BT series Naruto his Storm series and One Piece needs Bāningu Buraddo!!!

Well considering this is the same group that made J-stars victory vs I don't see why they couldn't implement that, though yes, it would be very unbalanced haha. Btw, here are some actual matches from the game in English, it's looking great.

True, not to start a elitist argument war here but in fighting games the base modes is what the hardcore fans can dive into for years and be satisfied, some not even touching story unless it is to unlock a character. But for casual and fans of the series like myself and most people who will bother with this game, a story mode, even a made up one like the Unlimited World series would be welcome. I would even prefer a Grand Battle kinda deal where each character's arcade mode was their own story. I'm not saying that I wont buy the game due to lack of story mode, hell, I doubt I'll even do more than one playthrough of it, but the idea that all fighting games don't ever need a story is kinda silly. Some single player content extends the game, a casuals are going to be a majority of this game's buyers. Then again people have been starving for a One Piece fighting game for years, and the game looks awesome so even without story I'm sure it will sell well.

Exactly what i think. Storm was good with such a big roster and nice boss fights but other than that the game was boring. Only 3 combos is an insult for a game.

Storm was okay but i don't want BB or any game to be like it. A 3D Fighter is supposed to have a lot of combos.
So if BB is going to be some clone that it should copy BT3. Combo- and characterwise best game.

Gear 4 looks awesome as a Tranformation. But overall it looks like J Stars, didn't play it yet but the Look is exactly the same so I hope they improve the Controls and Movement, found that not so good in J Stars. I liked J Stars, played the Japanese Version so long and than the + Version too in Multiplayer and hat a lot of fun but they must improve it mainly in Terms of Story and Balancing. Nethertheless hope I can preorder soon the Marineford Edition in Europe, will also import the Japanese Version as always cause 2 Months prior is worth it :D

Yes that could be possible. Like they announced each Strawhat crewmember with somebody else, they could introduce Nami and Robin with two female characters.
