it was actually a translation mistake, in japanese its left ambigious wheter Shanks was an emperor or not.

On the card you have a timeline and in the said timeline Shanks becoming an emperor was put before Shanks meeting with Luffy, thus my question.

@Greg In the last chapter we learn that Shanks was said to have become a yonko 6 years ago. Is it a typo like Flampe’s birth rank or does that mean that the databook Vivre Card is not reliable anymore?

Honestly, I rather have them cutting the pre-skip strawhats and the east blue saga boss.

I just thought it sounded like a wacky idea and bringing him in would manage to tie a nice bow on the Brook/Ryuma/Zoro connection back at TB. Would give all three of them a bit of peace.

@Greg: just read your column, what do you mean by Zoro channeling Ryuma’s soul? Do you mean that Zoro will talk to him? Or do you mean that it will the new Ashura form?

It's not the greatest ending ever, but it is an ending. I'm reserving judgement til the next chapter is out just on that vague distant hope of a big meaty volume.

That said, I still don't think we'll really know for sure until we get the pagecount for this one. There should be enough variance between 11 chapters and 9 chapters + the boichi special to tell which of those it is as well.

You think that the Boichi special will be introduce in this volume?
I personally think that when several artists will have made they One Piece chapter, the Shueisha will put them altogether in a special volume (like they are doing with the cover stories in "Doors").

Yep we will have to wait for the next film (not before 3 or 4 years I guess) to see the Raid suit, Ryuoo and all the new stuffs that appear in Wano in a movie.
Maybe if we have a special episode next summer, we might see those earlier.

According to Volume Expo, he worked as a soldier in a military country called Gultzberg when he was around 1-14 years old.

Sorry Rivaille, I'd like to post a simple summary about Bullet instead of posting those pics since it'd be dangerous.

The story of Bullet is written in detail in Volume Expo (10089). Here is a short version.
I'm kinda skeptical that the story of Bullet was fully "created" by Oda, though.

! At the age of 15, Bullet fought Roger several times, but he kept losing.
Bullet belonged to Roger Pirates when he was 15-18 years old.
His strength was equal to Rayleigh according to Buggy.
After he lost in the final fight against Roger, he left the ship.
When he wae 19 years old, he fought Crocodile and neither of them won. (Surprising!)
When he was 22 years old, Bullet foughts Marines including Sengoku and Garp who were summoned by Buster Call. He fought fiercely, but several pirates Bullet defeated before also joined the battle between Bullet and Marines. Bullet was finally captured and sent to Impel Down.
Bullet kept training hard in the prison.
His strength reachee its prime when he was 43 years old.
At the age of 45, Bullet fights Luffy in the film.
! Japanese audience are impressed that apparently Bullet's current strength goes beyond prime Rayleigh.

I mean that in the promo they said that he was first a marine then a Pirate. That mean he was in the marine before the age of 15:blink:
At 19 years old he was as strong as Ray and Sir Crocodile was able to tango with him (which means that sir Crocodile was, at on point, strong enough to tango with Prime Ray while having no haki whatsoever:blink::blink:)
At 19 year old he was as strong as Prime rayleigh but it took him 21 years old of hard training to reach his prime:blink::blink::blink:
So either he is a early bloomer with a low progression rate or the prison trainin was not that good :ninja:
! So yeah i doubt Oda wrote that and that Bullet will be canon (which is a shame for me because i love his design and DF).

Finished watching Stampede 2 hours ago

As one of the film staffs mentioned on Twitter, Stampede reminds me of Dead End Adventure in 2003.
Like Dead End, some characters say the same line we've already seen in manga, which is a bit disappointing, but it may be inevitable considering Oda's involvement in Stampede is smaller than former OP films.

Action scenes are awesome. Some sakuga staffs worked in Dragon Ball Super Broly.
About music, as Greg said in his review, the scene where "We Are!" is aired is kinda off. lol

Order of my favorite OP film would be Film Z > Strong World > Stampede= Gold.

By the way, it seems 5ch spoiler summary that I posted earlier has a mistake.. For example,

! - Bullet hints a new aspect of Devil Fruit that manga has not mentioned yet
! This was not mentioned in the film, if I remember corectly.

Hawkins' card showed panels as far ahead as volume 91 almost six months ago, not to mention the art of Luffytaro and Zorojuro. I've said several times before that I think the team doing the colour volumes has been made to work on the Vivre Cards instead over the past year and we'll get more full volumes after the last two boosters are out and they're free.

Oh…I did not notice that.
So I hope you are right concerning their «free time».

It is interesting to note that some pictures in the Databook Vivre Card are couloured even tho the volume where they are from is not out yet. For example, on Carrot VC you can see a panel of her in Sulong from attacking Daifuku's fleet, this panel is from volume 88. Therefore i wonder if we will not have several volumes at once with the next release?

Additional note: got my set today, and putting the two side by side in the same light it's really obvious that Caesar has a different colour to the animal type cards. I assume his shade of blueish grey is for the underworld, but I think there's a chance it could represent Kaido and his allies as well.
