Well… obviously Oda-sensei could take this into whichever direction he wants. We can only speculate on how far his father took it or Yonji as well, but what we have are the conclusion to their encounter.

I'm trying to have a logical approach to this, how much panels and chapters can Oda-sensei afford to their relationship? How many chapters can this arc possibly be? We have so many elements in this current arc atm.. it's awesome but crazy as well, so I don't think Oda will indulge us to much into Sanji's complex relationships with each of his sibling.

Btw Sanji has been through a lot of shit (nearly starved to death, stuck on an island with transgender people..well it's horrible for him, almost getting killed x times and more) and he has haki(which says a lot about his inner strength)... so yeah

I think the Vinsmokes are left to him(because Luffy and half the straw hats, Pedro, Carrot and the sun pirates have their hands full imo)

Anger/excitement - His face on the panel (and the fact that he fought and beat Yonji and fought his father without any kind of problems)

Fear/anxiety - He is shaking, his grip and a sweat drop on the same panel.

So yeah… you could be right, but you could also be wrong. So we are left with assumptions.

So Luffy VS Cracker continues… Luffy should be faster than cracker imo, and with Crackers "defense down"(or focused elsewhere).. he should be able to win this. Just my two cents... maybe Jinbei comes to the rescue?

Big Moms plan seems to have a little hiccup.. but seems assured that her castle/house or whatever is her stronghold. Probably has something to do with her power.

Just to put my two cents in this debate;

1. Sanji wanted them to act like the way Zoro said. That's the smart way. That's why he wrote down the note like that. He understands it, and he has(or uses) the SAME logic as Zoro.

2. If you read the chapter you can see that we see Zoro's panel when Nami explains that Sanji could have stayed if he wanted too but didn't. To show that it held a significant information.

3. Nami and Chopper are talking out of guilt not out of sense.

So don't try to make this a debate of who is smarter, when both came to the same conclusion.

Best part of the chapter is ofcourse Nekomamushi… great character!

Second best part would be the argument they had over Sanji's disappearance. Zoro seems to think that Sanji holds a responsibility in everything. Which I agree with. But glad that their opinion is not one sided. Oh well... Luffy's words command at the end. Great Chapter!

Gear 4 will be like Zombie Luffy… so he is gonna be bigger and badder!

Ok i'll try to explain, "忌み名" (the two kanjis are 忌(-む) which means taboo or to avoid in this case and 名 which means name) which we pronounce "いみな/imina" same as "諱" which means "true name"..

So here we go, Waterloo in japanese kana is written as this ワーテルロー, Law in japanese kana is writen ロー (RO-), so if you read onepiece in japanese it makes much more sense in this case.

So his real name IMO would be Trafalgar D. Waterloo. Where "Law" and "Loo" has the same spelling. So Law is derived from Waterloo/Watelaw or whatever… he clearly got it from Waterloo.

I'll be honest, most of you guys are overthinking this… Oda and most japanese knowledge of the rest of the world and the culture is limited. I've lived in japan for years and know this for a fact, and it's cool! Most countries are like this. But they prolly know more of China and Korea than most of the "westernes". What i'm trying to say Oda won't know the diffrence between nigeria or ethopia, poland and czech etc etc...

Fishman island and the fishmen/mermen etc are based on African americans.

Dracule Mihawk - Seems like a mix between Dracula and Juan Sánchez Villa-Lobos Ramírez.. so yes, Székelys/Romanian.

The key for victory; for the Kid-Apoo-Hawkins alliance to show up and start their fight with big mom. Well we know that Kid had a fight with Big mom before, so his aim seems to be big mom… and we know that they got the same intel (or i presume) as big mom pirates as Killer saw the transmission from punk hazzard the same way Pekoms and Tamago did. (else I don't see the point of Oda showing us all this info about their alliance and their skimrish with big mom.. if not for this)

Well… good episode, not drawn out like it usually is. I didn't like how they ended with Kidd, feels like they try to force you to like him that way. Same thing with what happend with Law, when they gave him Capones line. Just saying, i feel forced to like these characters.

Pirates have crews it's pretty simple logic. Their bounties prove that they must have had crews at one point in time. I doubt that mihawk has been able to sail through the grandline by himself since the beginning.

First off, It's not because I didn't like your theory that I wrote my last post (even though I'm not a fan of it) but because I didn't think it made much sense at all.

I didn't write I had any evidence but I addressed the faults in your theory. You ruled out all options as to why they are shichibukai to begin with and gave everyone of them a similar background story; 'they lost to one of the four emperors in the NW before, because they don't have a crew now, so they became one of the schichibukai to get their revenge' and you even mentioned that they lost because they didn't posses haki.

To answer your question, there could've been other reasons for a crew to be missing, they could have disbanded themselves (Roger, Jinbe), a disease could have taken most of them out (Brook), maybe they killed them or left them as well. Or like you indicate they couldve lost (Croc) or got their whole crew killed (Moria). Heck, they don't even have to be a captain or a leader (Kuma).

So let me ask you, does this seem logical to you?

You forget that when mihawk asked what luffy's goal was he said that in order to become pirate king luffy would have to become stronger than him. Which means that all the yonkou's who are at the top of the pirate world are stronger than mihawk. And since shanks is a swordsman with one hand and is stronger than the greatest swordsman in the world we can only assume that this is because mihawk does not have haki.

He meant that because he himself is a pirate. I thought that was very clear.

I like how that statement came from the nowhere, backing up with what facts? YES, Moria and Croc got defeated.. but so what? Does that mean that Dofla or Mihawk did as well? So by your logic it means that a person w/o a crew has lost a battle. Which I dont find very rational or logical.

So 100 million yen is roughly 1.2 million dollars, still not that shabby though.

Zoro's increase of bounty goes from 120 million to 160 million, that would be the same percentage as Luffy's bounty increase, so I think 360 mil sounds a bit to much although thats what it said on the scanlation.

It's very weird how the chinease scanlation is translated and the mangastream one.

I know a lot of people here can't speak chinease (neither can I), but can someone clarify or verify this, is Zoro's bounty, 160 million beri or 360 million beri? because it says ３億６千萬 in the chinease scanlation and it has the same meaning in japanese. :o pretty awesome if that is the case…

anyways awesome chapter, zoro is a badass... and chopper still looks kind of cute. usopp is hilarious, i wanted to see vanderdekken but yeah...

As Shirley only said she saw a man with a striped strawhat, its prolly Van Dekken (someone def already said it, but ppl are on about other stuff apparently).

Anyways, gonna be fun to see how this turn out… but i guess Zoro got his enemy for the arc.

Anyway, about Akainu…

It's starting to look possible that his power is flower related. Maybe I'm speculating too much, but let's look at Aokiji and Kizaru's outfit.

Aokiji's power is ice, and he wears light blue, which is the color usually depicted for ice. Kizaru's power is light, and the yellow stripes on his clothing are like beams of light.

And we can see that Akainu has floral patterns on his clothing and even has a flower tattoo as well as a rose. I'm willing to bet that his power is related to plant.

He's outfit is a typical yakuza style of outfit, the tattoo, shoes and the floral patterned shirt too.
I think he is modelled after either Bunta Sugawara or Ken Takakura.

Nice chapter, I like how Ace is thinking. He'll prolly be pissed at the fact that Luffy is trying to save him. The top eh?

I got a bad theory (i guess), every first mate must put their own ambitions down entierly for the crew and for the captain, because if they are gonna be the first mate they need to understand their responsibilities towards the crew.

Ok maybe alot of you folks say "No shit, wasnt that what Zoro said to kuma?". The answear is "Yes" that's what he said. But that seem to be what Ace said to Blackbeard as well…. and prolly what Rayleigh will say.

Trafalgar Law mainly because he said "Drake…. how many people did you kill?"

It feels like Luffy will be heading towards Groove 24 and Zoro towards groove 21. Because Law (is he with Don flamigos crew? Like Bellamy a subdivsion?) and Drake both looked like swordsman. We prolly get a battle royale on our hands with this… i'm so looking forward to this.

In all honesty I think that Ace came up with a deal with BB, if he gets caught and taken to Impel Down.. he would stop chasing after Luffy. I can't really see that they can take Ace to Impel Down, without draging his dead body there… so he went along for Luffys sake.

Why would he even make a deal? He might have been beat up after the clash with BB.
