Loving Kunoichi Nami!! Not sure if I can afford to buy her but it's so tempting! She's fantastic and I really love the Wano country designs.

Edit: I JUST SAW ALL-SUNDAY ROBIN. She will be mine. I've really missed seeing a high quality Robin figure from both Megahouse and Banpresto. Can't wait to see her in color omggggggg.

Amazing sculpt that is dynamic from every angle. Wadoichimonji doesn’t sit in his mouth as well as you would hope, it could be knocked out pretty easily, but he’s a supreme addition to any collection, I think. If you can afford him, I highly recommend you get this one.

I actually considered getting her. It’s a really, really nice sculpt, impressive and worthy of a Shichibukai. However I don’t have a ton of disposable income right now, and Zoro Maximum was absolutely number one on my list this year. His price dropped quite a bit which surprised me, (I think I overpaid) but I’ll prbably get him a little sooner than I would have with some other retailers.

More likely to pick her up after she’s been released, if at all.

I payed $100 usd each, not including shipping. Yeah I know. >.< But if you are into Nami and Robin, I feel like they are worth it. There may be more later since these were early raffles, so it's possible the price may go down, but I'm not sure. Actually I think there may be cheaper ones on ebay. The Japanese sellers are pretty reliable, never had any problems with them.

@cyber-robin: Wow, I'm sorry yours broke like that. That is…really odd I've never had a P.O.P. do that unless I was super clumsy and broke something I was fiddling with.

My Ichiban Kuji Kimono Robin and Nami figures came in fairly quickly! I was surprised, though I did pay quite a bit for them (probably unnecessarily but oh well. I felt like splurging.)

The boxes themselves are really quite beautiful and even the texture is different from most. The drape of the fabric is nice even though it is super stylized. The prints are pretty too. Probably some of the nicest figures of them I've seen in a while, especially since they aren't part of their "original" outfits. Very much worth it to me.

I'm hyped up for that Red Poneglyph. I hope Oda will allow Robin to reveal what is on there for a change, rather than leave us mostly in the dark.

The reveal of Momo's identity is interesting, though slightly out of left-field. There are many interesting implications for the future in this chapter. I'm getting Skypia vibes with this deep bond of loyalty between Wano country and Zou. It seems to imply that the countries hundred of years ago collaborated with each other in the creation and protection of the Poneglyphs. I guess that's sort of obvious at this point in the story, but Kishi is building up to something big.

I'm wondering where this is going to go at this point. Is Luffy still going to go after Sanji alone? Maybe the crew will split up again with half going to Wano and the other half will concentrate on bringing Sanji back.

I can't wait for Kunoichi and any other famale characters in Wano. I'm so ready for the Japanese equivalent island in the One Piece universe.

That is quite expensive! Even for a limited edition P.O.P. Would really like to get this version of Luffy though, he closely resembles his manga incarnation not to mention the details are exquisite.

I'm probably going to order one or both of the Nami or Robin Ichiban Kuji kimono figures. Will post pictures when they arrive.

Oh man I just started collecting those. I only have Kylo Ren but as soon as I saw the post about One Piece characters, I almost salivated. XD I will probably buy two of those (Luffy and Chopper) just to support the line. I really would like to see the other Straw Hats as well.

My BB Robin came in and she is more charming than I thought she'd be from the pictures alone! It's been a while since I've acquired a Robin figure in general, so that may have been a factor as well. Her lower lip is a little shiny which is a nice detail.

@DanMatrix: I'm glad that the Jeans Freak Nami figure is working out for you! I just ordered her and Robin from BIJ, and am excited to get them. XD

:cough: Anyway, I'm hopeful that we will get a greater variety of One Piece figures in general. Those bigger figures have gotten more expensive to produce so I guess it makes sense that they would be conservative with their designs and only make the ones they know will sell a lot, fanservice or not, which is unfortunate.

It would definitely make it a lot more stark and bright.

My Nami B.B. figure from Louis arrived today. The quality of the plastic seems to be pretty good and I am happy with the colors aside from her hair which I thought looked a little faint. Personally, I like this figure a lot more than the Crimin bikini one, though I am biased since I don't actually own that one either. But for the most part I have enjoyed collecting the One Piece girls swimsuit figures, so that's why I bought her. I just wish they had made more Robin figures, but when the B.B. version arrives I will post pictures for her too.

You have awesome taste in figures. One of those winged figures looks like Lineage, I'm guessing? I've always wanted to get one of the Badlands rumble Vash figures but I kind of missed my window of opportunity on that. I think amiami might still have wolfwood though.

I also caved and ordered Boobie Nami ver. 1 from Louis. I have to say his ordering system has been streamlined quite a bit. Her pose and colorful bikini are nice and she'll go well with the Robin I ordered from BIJ. Haven't had money to burn for a while now so I'm happy I can get the figures I want for a change!

That is an awe inspiring collection Lexiy! I'm especially loving the DBZ figures. Just started rewatching old episodes on youtube, it's still entertaining after all these years.

HLJ has a sale right now too, so I am thinking about picking up either milky ball Nami or the Creator x Creator series Nami.

As far as that mink woman wearing Nami's clothes is concerned a few thoughts ran through my mind:

1. Nami is a trend setter now that she is an infamous pirate

2. The Mink tribe wear human clothes as trophies of a sort, like how people would wear animal skins. How or why she has Nami's look is unknown. This would sort of explain why Law is concerned, if the Mink are hostiles that fight humans to steal their things.

….Is it bad that I'm more interested in those BB figures than in the Sabo POP? XD

I mean I'm seriously considering skipping him in favor of BB Robin, even though she won't be out for months. I was excited about him, but with money being a little tight right now, I think I may pass at least until the end of the year. He's a little stiff looking, though I want him in my collection. Maybe I'll get Violet instead. Her pose and colors are nice.

But I do kind of need that Robin, crazy boobs and all. The Nami figure is kind of cute too, though her mouth looks a little odd, like sexy doujin odd. I like her colorful bikini and pose, but yeah I'm still on the fence about her.

Oh and the sculpt for Corazon is spot on and definitely worth getting. I'm glad he's so popular hopefully they'll make several nice figures of him aside from the ones that have been revealed thus far.

I still prefer Big in Japan for limited edition orders and Hobbylink are the most reliable stores for me.

That new Zoro figure is great! I don't really want to buy another one of him, but it is kind of tempting considering it's his "classic" appearance. Luckily I don't have much money to burn right now, but I really want to, especially since HLJ is having a sale right now. I still want Killer :x

The build-up to Baby 5's resolution was well done considering how much Oda has to do within the limited panel space for this arc. For a minor character she has been written in a sympathetic manner from the beginning, but I like that it's finally columnated in a serious revelation about how sad she is. It does say a lot about Sai that he's willing to go so far to stop her, but I also like that his character development occurred because of Baby 5 and also because Lao G needed to be defeated. The Donquixote are decidedly evil and this helps to solidify that yet again.

As much as I like Zoro, his fight needs to end soon it is dragging out way too long.

That was a lovely chapter cover Oda made in honor of Kishi. I liked that they were eating each other's favorite foods.

And oh man…this chapter really got me good. Especially that last page of Rosinante smiling for Law. What a saint.

It was great to see Tsuru in action as well. I want to see more of her and her entourage in the future.

It was like I read the Harry Potter epilogue all over again. Ino/Sai was weird and I really want to know who the mother of Lee's child is, but I am so glad it is over! More attention for One Piece please!

So I finally got around to opening the new figures that had arrived over the last year or so, lol.

I finally completed the CP9, though I don't have MAS Lucci displayed. Kaku is my favorite of those, his swords are very elaborate and the devil fruit is a great addition. He has a lot of arms and extras.

Another group is the Dressrosa set of Law 2.0, Rebecca, Cavendish and Bartolomeo. Barto is one of the best ones, though they really go out of their way to make the limited editions special, You would get the most value from Rebecca, considering how elaborate she is with her accessories.

Sanji and Viola were very cute. Poor Sanji, that was the closest Oda has allowed him to get to a blossoming romance.
I also have imagined the straw hats going their separate ways at the end of the series. Franky and Robin have a somewhat unique relationship concerning their circumstances and motivations. I think they relate to each other on a different level than they do to the other straw hats. Not just because they are older but because of how they view the world. But who can say? It's fun to think about.

I pictured Zoro either dying or nearly dying in battle or going off on his own like Rayleigh did.

As far as romance goes, I think you could argue in favor of Oda changing things since his manga has evolved so much since it first began. Not only are we seeing families, but he's created more brutal imagery and acknowledges that many of the children who read his manga are now adults. Stories like Rebecca and Kyros could be reflections of his own experiences too, as a father. I'm sure that he will continue to add different arcs and surprise us down the line. A little romance here and there won't hurt the story in the long run.

Law 2.5 is hilarious. I can hardly believe I caved and got the Dressrosa version in the first place. Although the first one was kind if static looking. Grats to people looking forward to him! It is a decent sculpt, if 2.0 is anything to go by.

Barto is amazing, he was so worth the money. Still waiting for a few more characters to be released one day.

I am very much looking forward to mugiwara Nami, but aside from that I'm glad my wallet can take a breather.

That Sabo from the previous page is a little frightening. It's like one of those figures that looks terrifying on your shelf when it's dark because it stares blankly outward.

Corazon probably didn't know where Vergo was since he was on a secret mission, so there's no way he could have reported it to the marines. That's what we know so far.

I agree, Corazon's ability is pretty awesome. It's a lot more subtle and practical when you think about it. I'm liking Corazon a lot, acting as a double agent of sorts, finally confirming Dolfy's legit evil status. I like that he's so compassionate too.

I'm a little disappointed with what he's said about the 'D's though. It's nothing we haven't already heard: the D's were the enemy of the world government and the Celestials and that they posed a legitimate threat. I guess even Corazon wouldn't know that much about them in that point in history.

At least now we know why Law said Cora-san and Corazon and that it wasn't just something that got mixed up in translation.

i'm starting to expect big things from Trafalgar D. WaterLaw now. If he doesn't defeat Doflamingo single-handedly now then it'll (to me) look bad upon him and D. But if he can at the very least dispose of Trebol then that'll be more than enough. As Luffy is the main character

Also. I'd like (and I hope) Law actually tells Luffy that he is a D. too. Luffy needs to start learning about the Will of D. and Robin could add a little exposition too from whatever she has learned about them. Also I hope Law addresses why he said that the 'D.' was a secret -at the very least.

I'd like Law to meet Dragon too and Dragon say something about not being able to do a thing about Flevence and it's people. I'd like Dragon to say something like "I hate being powerless to do…..." oh well.

As for the whole D. asspull thing. It's a reveal mane. Was Doflamingo being a 'Tenryuubito' an asspull too?

It would be nice if Oda would say more about what the D's are, but after all these years who knows when he'll finally do it. T___T

I think Law has already reached his potential, Chopper hasn't.

I would like to see more of that potential soon.

@Magi and Maju: it is debatable, but I'm pretty sure Law is implied to be a better doctor than Chopper is. He saved the children from Punk Hazard, for one thing. The drugs were more or less removed in a day from their bodies, while Chopper was fawning over him. As for his powers, Dolfy just said he can grant 'Immortality', pull souls from bodies and swap them with someone else, teleport etc. If that isn't godlike, I don't know what is.

His merchandise sells really well too, not to mention the fanart and other stuff that are produced in Japan and internationally make Law's popularity with the female fans (and fanboys too, for that matter) very blatant .

many of the one piece characters have a lot of these things, but none of them have ALL of these things wrapped up in one, neat package. That's basically what I was getting at.

@ NER: I miss that too! I really like Kidd as a character and am disappointed that he and the other pirates he's allied with have been put on the side for now.

Law getting so much attention takes away from the other Straw hats and even Luffy to a certain degree too. I trust Oda will go back to each member and continue to develop them as he has done so throughout the New World segment, but I am worried that Law will take over a huge chunk of the plot for several years to come.

See, the problem with Law being a D and with Sabo getting the Mera Mera fruit is that it is almost 'too good to be true.'

Whatever happened in that stadium, Sabo getting the fruit by virtue of being Ace's and Luffy's brother is a little too convenient and places a ton of emotional significance into the Mera Mera fruit itself. It's like Oda is saying, 'Please love Sabo as much as you all have loved Ace.' People would have loved Sabo regardless I think, but now we know exactly how significant Sabo will be to the storyline.

That aside, Law has essentially become what I had feared he would be: Oda's version of Sasuke from Naruto. He has a dark, sympathetic past, godlike devil fruit powers, godlike medical skills, handsome features that make all the fan girls swoon and a strong connection to Luffy and the plot. (Though he is not an enemy, for now. I don't think he ever will be though)

Now he's a D. All the D's are significant to the story and the foundations of the world that exists presently in One Piece. They are connected to the void century and the remnants of a huge threat to the World Government. It's almost as though it entitles Law to everything we've seen from him, like the crown on a king's head. (Not literal mind you)

There's nothing wrong with liking Law for any and all of those reasons, but I feel that is forced, especially coming from Oda. To me, it is uncharacteristic of his work in general so I'm disappointed. But hey, maybe Law knows more about The D family other than that he's supposed to keep it a secret and that it makes him a threat. Also it justifies somewhat his motives for saving Luffy after the war.

I'm just not thrilled about it.

I love this chapter though, it almost makes the Dressrosa arc worth while. Dolfy is actually at fault for drawing attention to his family. I think his father was planning to live QUIETLY as a normal human, though he was naive to have let his son run wild like that. I actually think he and his wife were very brave for doing something so radical and maybe that was his way of trying to live with the values he wanted for his family, which didn't involve slavery or indoctrinated dominance. Dolfy should be forgiven because he was just a child, though that doesn't make him blameless either. Essentially, their whole family were victims of the system the world government created with the celestial dragons.

Also liking Corazon a lot. I think he was a decent man, like his father may have been.

Grats Kanji! I just got mine too. I was wavering for a while on her, but I'm so glad I did. She looks amazing with her helmet! I really like her pose too. It's refreshing for a female figure from the POP line to have a battle stance.

Barto is so great though Oda conveniently hides his fanboy joke by simultaneously giving him conviction and a steadfast character. Not to mention his convenient powers. But yeah I'm buying into it, you have to love the guy. He's consistent which works well.

I agree it was a decent chapter all around, except for the part with Rebecca.

Even attempting to be neutral here, it is hard to justify Oda recycling the crying damsel in distress trope. Maybe after seeing her father again and by being confronted by her mother's killer it became to much for her to handle after learning how to fight, but it's true that Oda could have drawn her tearing up and facing diamanté down with her sword drawn and say something like "you bastard!" Technically her sword isn't even sharp and she wouldn't have been able to really face him head on since her tactics rely on her ability to dodge and run away from attacks.

But the part where she cries for someone to save her was unnecessary, been done several times before in this manga, and only served to highlight Kyros' revenge battle, which IMO could have happened without her asking for help.

Normally this wouldn't bother me in other manga, so long as it is only used ONCE. Me thinks some lazy writing has been pushed lately.

I just put in my order for Fujitora POP with Big in Japan so I'm pretty happy with that. I like that they make you pay up front, because I tend to forget to pay when they ask months down the line due to work and life forcing me away from my email alerts.

If they are re-releasing Franky, that would be great because I missed him the first time around. He's so pricey though! :x

I was taken aback by the re-encounter between franky and señor pink. I definitely agree that the chapters have been dragging a bit (more so since Oda has been ill and requiring more rest in between chapters IMO. The poor guy needs it though.)

But I thought that was the most enjoyable part of the chapter. I don't think there is anything wrong with calling out offensive material particularly sexism, but I actually think Oda was just being at his troll-y best by making fun of that particular scene. Both franky and señor pink are parodies of western action heroes or actors in general. He's a huge movie enthusiast and is totally referencing reservoir dogs and other old movies featuring a kind of sultry, skanky sort of macho thug. (There is an actor I was reminded of in particular, but it may just be my own personal interest in this actor.). The whole, kiss the girl to make her shut up thing has been done many times, except this time it features two of the most ridiculous characters in one piece. I don't think we're meant to take anything about that seriously. I mean, does anyone honestly think señor pink with his bonnet and diaper is sexy? Those girls love him but isn't that just to illustrate how silly it all is.

Anyway it was the most enjoyable chapter I've seen in a while. I'm tired of watching Zoro and Pika just standing there looking at each other. That fight feels like it's going nowhere fast. Plus law's past has been teased to death and now it's getting a bit aggravating waiting for him to tell us why the hell Law is the way he is. I know dressrosa will end well, but it's starting to feel like the namek arc where people were perpetually running around chasing each other. I did think that the scene with the princess was cute too and made Leo look heroic.

But I agree that Usopp's new look is the only one that really looks great. And I love Robin so I will probably pick up some incarnation of her from the 15th anniversary line, even though it's kind of, meh looking. XD

I'm really starting to wonder about what in the world MegaHouse is thinking when they make their character selections. Hody Jones is the main villain of the anime in 2012 and Caesar is the main villain of 2013, but neither is apparently good enough to warrant a POP. But somehow in 2014 characters like Bellamy, Sugar and Lao-G who pale in comparison in screentime and importance are getting POPs? What the heck?

Yeah I wish they wouldn't neglect the other arcs. Especially Baby 5 since she is still very much a part of Dressrosa. I guess I'll have to wait till 2015 for any hope of the characters I've really wanted a lot.

I bet Viola will look stunning in color! She has all those feminine maroons and pinks too so it will make a big difference seeing her completed. I wasn't going to get Bartolomeo, but was totally convinced after I saw him painted.
