I'm hopping on the wagon that says the Germa, Bege, a few of Big mom's crew members, and others are plotting to overthrow her. Sanji being the bait for everything to happen, and that Sanji's family actually respects him after they started hearing of his deeds when he left (hard parenting so to speak). It'd explain why the germa are so stupid; they must've known that everything has a soul and therefore there'd be eyes on them at all times.

RE: Chapter 816: "Dog Vs. Cat"
@Helter:
I guess the fact that all the minks knew is ok. The weird part it that they didn't tell the Strawhats. Hope it gets explained.
It's perfect that all the minks knew. It's not right for leaders to decide a country's destruction without people not knowing the reason. And They didnt' know the strawhats were with the samurai as the straw hats have been trying to hide that fact themselves. THere is no reason to release such a big secret to your saviors. Especially for people whom you just recently met.

I am hoping Sanji somehow turned into a mink. That would make him even more perfect.

RE: My Hero Academia - Gomu Gomu no Gentle Fist
The chapter was again pretty good but again there is something about the storytelling that bugs me off. This time that Stain (a guy tied and injured) was the first to react to save Deku.
Just writing the scene in a way that the other heroes werent near enough to act in time would make the scene much more believable.
But he wasn't the first to react. Gran Torino was, but he was afraid that the speed of the noumu's flight was too quick for even him to do anything about it. They weren't trying to fight it as they were escaping, they were simply trying to duck to avoid the attack. Stain simply was able to do something because blood dripped down close to him. Otherwise he'd have done squat.

RE: Chapter 788: "My Fight"
Doflamingo is not hell bent on completely destroying his city. Thats why he didn't start the bird cage from the beginning. Its a last resort thing to put pressure. If he wanted to completely demolish his city, why bother becoming a king of it at all.

RE: Chapter 788: "My Fight"
For everyone who says the swordsman can just cut the string…Isn't it more likely that the strings would regrow extremely fast, vs it just leaving a big weird gap? If so, anyone who is super fast might be able to escape, but then all the citizens wouldn't be able to. If that's the case (or at least how I rationalized it), there's no point in trying to cut the cage.

RE: Chapter 783: Path Blocking
Hi,
made an account just to join in the talk about Gear 4. Someone probably already mentioned this but I didn't read thorugh all 28 pages…just some of the first 6 or so...
My theory (Or rather hope) of Gear 4 is where he condenses himself, sort of like becoming a dwarve. However, with this, his haki also becomes condensed, and his power becomes stronger and more focused (unlike gear 3, which expands him to deal stronger damage over a much bigger space).
So rather than a a pistol, it becomes more like a shotgun or a magnum. + smaller = harder target....
Just another theory based on nothing substantial. (thought this gear would make him even more of a fan in the eyes of the dwarves, and it'd be something different, rather than just combining his other gears).
(Sort of like a mantis shrimp's punching power).
never mind...I suppose this is similar to the vulcanization theory.
