Not exactly, FMA: Brotherhood is currently getting released on DVD before airing on Adult Swim.

VIZ Probably waits until they have aired on AS, because, no dvds = more people watching the premiers = higher ratings = can charge AS more.

As PirateBeck said in the first post, Manga UK really do want One Piece, but Toei are asking for a lot for it.

I think you would need the dub for the dvds to sell well, since you do get alot of dub watchers and people who won't watch anything if its in subs.

I think when the Facebook page is up and running and has a decent amount of people following it, there should be a new Petition (Poll wouldn't look as good i think) But add a comments bit. where people can state if they would buy the series, films, or both. Because i would love OP to get released over here but i wouldn't double dip and get the series over again but would get films, specials etc. That way it makes it clear who would buy what.

No idea how it works but who has the license for airing it on tv? would it be CN or 4kids?

And you know for Funimation to buy the license for the UK, it would cost money. Money that Funi may not have.

That's why we need signatures, to show Funi that it's worth licensing
