Did I miss anything regarding Law, Kidd, Marco or Doflamingo? Last time I visited, we had just gotten pictures of the Whitebear PoP and some Shichibukai sets.

I have a question about HLJ, this morning I ordered something that was in stock to add to my Zoro order. Now I got the Payment request for Zoro, and a few minutes later I got my order confirmation for the other item but not a payment request.

How does this work if I want them to combine shipping? Do I wait for a payment request for both items, or pay for each separately without the shipping and wait for HLJ to get back to me on that? am I doomed to pay two shippings?… or should I just e-mail them? XD

I-I'm probably going, working on planning everything out with my friends for now. If I do go I'll probably cosplay Iceland (APH) and maybe Bonney (OP) if I'm in shape by then XD. I also have a Hinamori (Bleach) cosplay, but I really favor Bonney over her, I'll see what I'm gonna take a night before the trip XD.

I've never gonne to a USA con, so it'll be a fun, new experience for me :D. I'm also glad I'll get to meet some of you if I go! :happy:

Estimate wise I think its around $500 for the weekend if you don't split it with anyone =X Usually we have 6 people to a room and it ends up being $70 something a person.

There's always people posting around on the A-Kon and Cosplay.com boards looking for roommates.

Wait, so 6 people can share a room? Why does it says 1-4 then on hotel costs? If it can be 6 that's even better for us.

I love the PoP, but after seeing that Kidd, my willpower went right into the trashcan. I just went to preorder Law just so I can have both supernovas… GLM Luffy might be next o.<, I shall only get the supernovas, yes, I'll stick to that :ninja:

I, I died a little after I saw that Kidd :cwy: . I want him so bad, but I promised myself I would not stray away from PoPs, who knows what might happen if I did.

So hello, reading this thread has gotten me interested in purchasing one of those PVC figures. I've never done so but would it be right to assume that due to the material of the plastic, I am able to move it so I can make the figurines post?

I'm thinking of getting POP Ace, Zoro, Nami or Luffy… mainly because it is from rightstuf so I know I won't kill myself on shipping and I have some time to gather some money to get them. I think I read one of you saying Crocodile is coming out soon? Anything on Eneru?

Lastly, I've been thinking of getting the Memorial best album limited edition (most likely from Play-Asia). Just wondering... any chance of that DVD playing on an american computer? I have Bleach Greatest hits and that plays on my computer (for comparison's sake).

PoPs aren't really poseble, mostly you can take accesories on and off, but that's about it.

I see no point in so many polls, though we could give several options and then "other" at the end. So if a character is not there we can tell in a cooment.

I know that this isn't really the place to ask but I have a question for users who live in the USA like I do:

I want to order a figure from HLJ but the figure has removable clothing (I can order it seeing that I am 20). On the page, it says that "Customs Regulations For Your Country May Prevent The Figure From Being Delivered". If I order the figure, would US Customs seize the package or would it just be delivered to me normally? Just want to know before I buy.

On a sidenote, I preordered Tashigi. I can finally have another POP to go with Vivi. Then I can focus on getting Boa Hancock. Might get Croc if I can. I'd like to get all the POP's but I have a lot of catching up to do.

I don't think you will have any problems if you live in the USA, that probably applies to other countries but I highly doubt yours. If the clothing is fabric it won't be a problem, even though in other countries you might get charged for importing fabric. If it's because the figure will end up naked… it's just a figure, as long as it's not something super realistic I doubt something will happen.

I don't think a we need different sections for buy and sell though. Just a OP, Non-OP (we could limit it to manga/anime related items only), Feedback, and Problem Transactions forums should be enough to provide with up to date offers and seller/buyer feedback.

As for the rules, one of the forums I visit has a huge marketplace established, and the rules have worked quite well up to now. Of course bad things still happen every now and again, but that can't be helped since there's no way to keep control over every single person.

Rules

1. To use the Marketplace, all members must meet Marketplace Access requirements (40 posts and 25 days membership). Do not assist new members (or those with Marketplace bans) to access the Marketplace or sell items on their behalf.

2. Members are allowed to have one WTB and one FS thread per subforum. Multiple threads will be merged or deleted without warning, regardless of how many items are being bought or sold.

3. If you don't have it, you can't sell it. Having a confirmed order or a lottery "win" is not enough; members may not sell items that are not in their physical possession. If requested by a buyer or moderator, a seller must be able to provide their own photo of the item.

   3a. The ONLY exceptions to #3 are: splits, commissionable services, group orders, shopping services, and items or parts made by the seller. In a pre-arrival split, the organizer must be keeping a substantial part of the item. All pieces of pre-arrival splits must be sold at a set price that adds up to approximately the cost of the item, no auctions or "taking offers." A split is only permissible before the item has been paid for; otherwise you will need to wait until it arrives to sell the pieces.

4. Sellers must keep a public record of the full username of the current high bidder and bid price in their Marketplace thread. If a bidder is outbid, they may ask (and the seller must tell them) who has outbid them and at what price. While bidders may not wish to have their names disclosed, this is one way to prevent shill bidding.

5. No selling "for friends." Members are personally responsible for all transactions under their username and may only transact business on their own behalf. If you are caught assisting a member who does not have Marketplace Access to use the Marketplaces, you will receive a permanent Marketplace Ban. You may only post links to your own auctions unless you are cautioning others against a scam.

6. No selling bootleg, copied, or stolen items.

7. No thread hijacking. If you want to buy or sell an item, make your own thread.

8. One bump per 24 hour period. Only the original thread starter may bump the thread. A bump means any post that brings a thread to the top of the first page, regardless if the post says "bump" or "pictures added" or "price lowered" or anything else.

9. No "chatting" in Marketplace threads. Only questions, requests for more pictures, etc., may be posted to Marketplace threads.

10. Raffles / Lotteries (and links to off-site raffles/lotteries) are not allowed.

11. No price policing. Sellers are free to set the prices on their items; heckling sellers over prices is not permitted. Questions about the source or condition of the item are fine, as are questions about what is included for the price.

12. When an item is sold, edit the title or thread prefix to say "SOLD." When the item has been received by the buyer (or if you receive the item yourself in the case of a WTB), re-title or change the prefix to say "Sold - Please Delete." If you do not want the thread removed, do not include the word "delete" anywhere in the title… even in "Do NOT delete". Threads marked "sold" for more than 2 months will be removed.

13. After an item is sold, shipped, and received by the owner, it must be removed from your listing. It may not be mentioned in your post, tags, or thread title.

By buying, selling, trading, or in any way using the Marketplace, you are agreeing to these rules.

Consequences

Breaking the above-listed rules may result in a Marketplace warning. At the Moderators' discretion, members may receive a Marketplace Suspension or ban for repeated rule breaking.

Marketplace dishonesty may result in a Marketplace or forum-wide suspension or ban. Members who appear to be violating the spirit of the Marketplace (for example, by frequently scalping) may have their access removed.

Are you sure those are bootlegs? :sad: I've bought from Hachioji two times already and it was all legit, I'll be wary of it from now on if this is true.

I know it's selfish of me…..it's great MH is releasing these POPs this year and all....but where are the supernovas? I'm really hoping for a nice one of Kidd and Law....It's weird Jimbei and Whitebeard are announced first as they've just recently had a real role in OP.....the Shabondy Arc has been around for awhile and hasn't been done justice. Come on MH, release another POP line called supernova line and release all the characters throughout this year. =P You can do it. =D

Even though I'd probably buy every single Supernova, I rather they wait till next year, with so much figure releases this year, affording them would be hard at this point.

EDIT: And I agree with Moon, it seems they are trying to complete a line, and then move on to another.

For some reason, I also liked Croc better without the colors, same with the new Zoro. Sanji does look much better now that he has some paint on him though.

I always ordered trough EMS before for any packages from Japanese online stores but I found a lot of One Piece merchandise that I want to get but things get very pricey with EMS. I wanted to order the items with SAL shipment since it's cheaper but I'm not to sure what to expect. So do you guys recommend SAL?

It depends on where you live, in my country it is not very recommended since things seem to get lost/damaged when sent this way :sad:

I think the stickers are only there to mark the difference of the market for which it was released. But having a gold sticker figure and a silver sticker figure next to each other, I really see no difference in the quality at all >.>;.

I have no way to show it right now, but they were set up like that at the last con I went to and besides the sticker there's no visible difference between figures.

I think those look really good actually. They seem to enter more into the designer toy category so I understand they might not be everyone's cup of tea. But if you're into toy collectibles and OP then why not buy them? I was really considering one of those for my desk at work :happy:.
