Photos from the One Piece Photoshoot(s) at Kumoricon 2010 can now be found {HERE}.

Wigless/Hair-cut-less cosplay is my biggest pet peeve. Hair is one of the most important distinguishing traits in anime because so many shows have very similar facial structure between characters. I understand wigs are expensive, and not everyone can dye their hair orange, but I still think it's an important aspect and one should at least try.

I saw a fantastic L sitting and doing the chewing-thumb-nail thing absolutely perfectly… on the escalator. Their walk when they got up was perfect, too. I really wish I had gotten a picture.

A bit late, but I'd like to throw my lot in as well.
I'd like to cosplay a girl next year if possible, but I just can't do that with the current shape I'm in. ^^;

It's frustrating because I'm physically fit but still packing the pounds. I'm a Cross Country runner, I can jog three or four miles without a problem. But I've still got a good fifteen or twenty in fat that my body just doesn't seem to want to get rid of.

You're welcome. Although, for clarifications sake, my dad was the one taking the photos. I'm just the girl who organizes it every year. The Luffy in the front standing next to Tanaka-san would be me. ^^
(I'm also the one going through the photo's for good shots and cropping/resizing/etc. So I guess I get photo-credit there. XD )

I see the awesome Law seems to be a poster here, too. ^^ I'm going through and finding pictures as I type this. He photographed really, really well.

Oh, wow. I commend you for taking the dive and doing such a difficult costume (including chest support) for your first cosplay!

If it ever gets difficult, look at it this way: You could be so much worse off. I crossplay, and even with a C-cup it's ridiculously difficult to bind them so I look flat chested, and even then I can only keep it on for half a day before it has to come off because I need to breath. I think that might be an impossible feat for you.

Do you mind me asking which conventions you plan on taking this costume to eventually?

And congratulations on the weight loss! ^^

Y'know, after watching this animated and going back to check on the manga it looks more like Rayleigh simply used his sword to disrupt Kizaru's laser to stop him from warping rather than using the magical H-word.

That's what I had originally assumed. The metal of the sword would reflect the light, stopping Kizaru's transportation.
