I My Me Strawberry Eggs- it's an anime about a man who couldn't be a gym teacher because he was a man so he decided to disguise himself as a woman. It was funnier than I thought although the ending could've been a little happier. Plus, it was only about 14 episodes so the pacing was good.

Princess Tutu- Very Interesting plot so its no regular girly anime

It's kind of a romance story set when Japan's in war and the girl the main character's dating is actually engineered to be "the ultimate weapon"

In the end, because of the war or something, THE ENTIRE WORLD IS LITERALLY DESTROYED. Every country and land is nothing but broken buildings and aftermaths of weapon attacks.

! Worst of all, the main character is literally the only human alive! Knowing that, you realize there is no hope for humankind AT ALL. Earth and its inhabitants is NO MORE. Plus, he won't be able to survive for long because he's in the middle of nowhere.
! So Shuji somehow gets stuck in some cave and it's very dark, when suddenly he sees this glowing light. The light transforms into his girlfriend. He gets really happy and starts hugging her and kissing her. It's a sweet scene but in reality you see that it looks like he's talking to himself and huggin and kissing air.
! He becomes very delirious and most likely dies but he dies remembering his girlfriend because the last scene you just see what's in his mind: He thinks his girlfriend's alive and everything is happy happy joy joy
