Yep! It's a reference to LoZ! I'm a pretty big Zelda fan although I'm pretty behind on some of the games.
Hey I'm alot worse in that regard so don't worry about it XD

Hey mate.
Ignore the seeming scarcity of the place, usually there's alot more stuff, it's just that it's April Fools.
There's still a link that leads you to the manga section on the forum, you just have to find the easter egg but there's no one there, quite boring if you ask me…
Sorry if I don't believe you XD
Oh didn't comment before but
Perri's sudden not being deadness at the end of Trial seems rather random, given they couldn't even get Nicla Bryant to shoot any more scenes to actually confirm that.
Pretty good episode and I'm glad it didn't just focus on exposing the tonic being a fake.
Ashens reviews ancient old table tob gaming systems
Is your name a refference to Legend of Zelda by any chance ?
Cause I've never played/finished a single game in the franchise thus far.
So please forgive me, and welcome.

Uh…..explanation ? :blink:
Please ?
Getting worse by the day.
Ah, sorry to hear that. Care to elaborate, if you want that is.
Ah the epic arc of "Natsu and co. are gone for one and a half chapters (so let's properly celebrate this with a random flashforward in the arc before)".
Yeah, it's a part of the April Fools thing. The manga section will be back tomorrow as usual.
I hope so, given tommorow being Wednesday an all XD
A brazilian community once did the same joke. And they were enable to undo it the following day.
What happened then ?
Uncle Grandpa actually came first but the studio decided that the monsters in the pilot were more deserving of a series than Uncle Grandpa himself was.
Well
Seeing how I couldn't find a single positive post/review of SMFA, I hope someone hit themselves real good for that decision.
Guys why doesn't a manga section show up on the forums :o?
Removed due to April Fools.
Which I don't find that funny to be honest as there were discussions I was meaning to look up but eh.
So, I finally found some more episodes of Secret Mountain Fort Awesome. I've watched a total of 8 thus far, kind of annoyed I can't rate the first season cause episodes 9 and 10 aren't there but I will say this: there is some imagination present here and I do enjoy watching it, without maybe liking the show that much.
I guess the reason it didn't catch on was the characters were all unappealing, plus all the grossout humour. In contrast UG has had like three fart jokes in 25 episodes. SMFA had someone eating someone else's buggers.
So yeah, definitely a major improvement for Browngart.
@Warden:
Maybe, it's just a 1st April day joke????
I guess but…kinda wanted to talk about something there and check the spoilers tommorow ;_;
Magnolia is one of the larger cities in Fiore kingdom. The capital is Crocus, the city where the tournament was held. Don't remember any guild being mentioned, aside from Twilight Ogre, which became the strongest guild after that Tenrou Island thing.
What you just said is probably more then even Hiro himself remember, seeing he admitted to not even remembering the countries he made up, if memory serves, and if the information posted back then was accurate.
@taBills:
spent the past few days in the ICU at the hospital just monitoring my grandma's condition after she went into cardiac arrest last week. Kind of losing track of the time but I think It's been 3 days now. The hours fly by now, but the day I flew in felt like an eternity just getting here but I'm glad I had carter there to chat with and keep my mind off things because I kept breaking down
things look better but we don't know her mental condition yet. Doc just took her off sedation so we're waiting for her to wake up. The icu is absolutely heartbreaking place though. I hate seeing old people suffering
I empathise so much taboo and I wish she does recover fully.
Not gonna say more to not bum you out but I lived through something almost identical with my late grandfather two and a half years ago so all the support I can offer is there, if you want.

I really feel a special something now when I talk to that boy I've been mentioning all over. We are planning what we'll do when he comes visit
BudapestmeBudapestI guess me~Edit: Well, I went ahead and asked him if it was real and if he was feeling the same… he said yes. I can't stop smiling~
Congratulations. I hope it works out for you :)
Okay, not having seen the last couple of seasons yet
! This ending seems like such a cop out.
Especially for a character with 8 seasons of buildup, right from the very first scene. It all proves that Ted is reeeeally shit at telling stories, with him taking 180 something episodes to even finish, meanwhile telling about 160 other stories that have nothing to do with the whole thing.
I admit though I do like this shoq quite a lot and will be sad to see it end, but it is better then it ending up like Two and a Half Men.
Is it just me or did this last chapter feel like it played it safe, like it could end next week or it could go on, the author isn't arsed? Also gotta say I'm not best pleased about the plan to keep the four kings together. I want them to go out on their own and develop in their own ways.
Well I felt like the whole chapter was spent on gags, and as far as information is concerned we got nothing.
Black Orchid wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Nothing of any significance happens, but it's the first episode that I thought the companions were entertaining since they were introduced. Also, the Doctor kicking everyone's butt at cricket and wandering around lost in a bathrobe is worth something, isn't it?
I don't get why you rate that higher than The Mawdryn Undead, though.
Well I just felt MU to be sort of lacking. That's honestly as far as I can explain it.
@Galaxy:
Err. It's pretty much exactly how Louis described it.
Oh, it's very common, unfortunately.
Summary:
! Toriko defeats joa with an "Infinite Kugi Punch", then joa and the NEO members disappeared like in the manga (Tokage). After that, the 4 Heavenly Kings help bring down the Meteor Spice (they helped, but couldn't reflect em all). Toriko and Komatsu go back to check on Mansam (who's being treated), and then suddenly Midora enters holding Ichiryuu. He got him there to get treated. They talk a lil, then at the hospital or wherever they were, Ichiryuu and Jirou convinced Midora to sit for a meal with them. Komatsu prepared some soup which Midora liked. After Midora left, Toriko and Komatsu entered GW through the same route toriko entered before, and the beasts (tiger and gorilla he faced before) didn't come close, knowing Toriko became stronger. Meanwhile, Joa is shown in that NEO base along with the traitor members preparing to move. The anime ended with Toriko and Komatsu running inside the GW, and then closed with a "Human World Arc End" message.
Thanks guys (not sure about that but it's a term of speach XD)
That does sound trully meh. If this antagonist got "defeated" by Toriko in this continuity, it thereby mitigated their seeming threat.
They might not even be sure themselves. Still though, even if they plan to someday continue the series, they've dug themselves a pretty deep hole with that ending. The whole reason things are the way they are in the manga is because of how the Cooking Fest ended. If the anime continues they're either going to have to change their ending/disregard it completely, or come up with some elaborate alternative to how the Human World ends up the way it does. I just can't see them continuing on with their own original story, especially since every major story point (aside from, y'know, Toriko completing his Full Course and finding GOD) has been resolved.
How often does the anime adaption just go off the rails and does it's own thing anyway ? I know that FMA did it and I think something else too that I forgot but I was wondering how rare/common that is.
Also could anyone summarise the ending, considering I haven't seen the episode ? Was just wondering if I should bother to look it up at all once it gets subbed.
Finished Black Orchid. And I will give them props for hiding the fact there is no alien of the week this time around, but, well, I do feel the story was a bit rushed. On the one hand I find that it might have dragged if it went on longer, on the other hand the Doctor's companions get little do to in the story, and the ending feels really abrupt.

@Kaizou:
It looks like Mashima's upcoming new series will be a prequel of Fairy Tail.
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Bj-_5upCQAAKSwE.jpg
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Also, it looks like there going to be a new magazine with just FT spin-offs, called Monthly Fairy Tail.
The hell ?
Like, Hiro sucks at doing FT proper, what point is there for a "prequel" ?
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
@Kaizou:
I believe Mashima only going to be in charge of the original Fairy Tail and its upcoming prequel. So, the rest of spin-offs will be by the different authors.
So there is a chance that FT will only produce something worth a damn after someone else takes over.
Been saying that's what should have happened for years now.

Not liking the fact Helbram now looks/has always looked like this : /
Good chapter but he….I preffered the old design like a hundredfold.
Actually, after watching his fairly good review of Cabin Fever 3, I amend my statement. He only seems to slide into outright insufferability when he's having a laugh alongside Lupa–which I guess is cute for them but it's not the most entertaining thing in the world apart from the look at that couple aspect. Lupa by herself remains a national treasure
Every one of their co-op reviews has put me to sleep, except for "The time machine (I found at a yard sale)" That is gold.
@RobbyBevard:
Obscurus Lupa has a fun positive energy where she's excited about watching crap. The positivity is fun, but I just can't muster any interest for the subject matter usually.
Not even for the utterly cringeworthy celebration of PMSing entitlement and neglect of duty, honour and common human decency known as Charmed ?
Like, one of the main, good, character leaves her ex boyfriend in hell because she doesn't want to deal with having to break up and stuff.
And later when he gets out, she then tells him to not spend his time saving innocents (the thing the Charmed ones are supposed to do) because it incoveniences her personally. And this isn't the only time when the lives and well being of others is put below "not mess up my day" on the Charmed ones' list of priorities either.
I loved those videos to death, as someone who has always seen the flaws in Charmed (mostly the visual side, like the "If we have people show up in their own clothes and SAY how terrible demons they are, we don't have to actually make them look like demons or anything" approach) and can derive soo much pleasure from the badness.
Also her and Phelous' review of "The Time Machine (I found at a Yard Sale)". That….is beyond words.
Finished Terror of the Vervoids. Honestly it's rather a dissapointment after Mindwarp. For one, the setting is De Ja vue inducingly similar to Nightmare of Eden and the Vervoids really just look well….too silly, even compared to the Mandrils.
And just like that story, events seem a trifle overcomplicated. Really makes me wonder why they didn't just use Nightmare Fair instead, I mean thus far it doesn't seem like there was a point to the Vervoid story being incorporated into the Trial framework, aside from the "genocide !" cliffhanger.
Also finished with The Ultimate Foe. A good enough ending I suppose though it's weird how Mel, who we never saw meet the Doctor is just kinda beamed there from the future and he acts like he knows her oh so well.
Also not the best send off to Nicolya Bryant I should say.
Overall the Trial started off rather slow with constant interruptions, but aside from Mindwarp I can't say any of the other two stories were that good. At least when compared to some of the planned scripts for Season 23 before all this trial nonsense.

Yeah I saw it on TV but always without any lyrics so….count me in.
@RobbyBevard:
Hey, Huey, Louie and Dewey were made into distinct individual characters with their own personalities in Quack Pack, and it is how I finally learned to tell them apart!
Now I can remember that Huey is the one that…. uhm...
Well, Louie is distinct because, ah...
Uhm... but Dewey stands out because he had all those episodes that showcased his unique....Hrm. I guess the show didn't make them distinct at all beyond giving them different interchangeable designs.
I said they did it, not that they did it all that well XD
Like it kinda stopped at the clothes and maybe like one was a bigger wimp then the others while one was, you guessed it, a computer wizz I think but eh.
@Kaizou:
It is basically about the boy turns into a giant monster and protect people from the other giant monster (but, people think all of the monsters are evil).
So how is it different from Hachi again ? Also what would the Japanese for that be ? Just wondering if there is any info on it with maybe a different romanisation.
And thanks for the quick response :D
I miss Oderus Urungus.

What the hell is that test ? XD
@RobbyBevard:
I do like how random no-dialogue background character is randomly propelled to three minute solo star there.
And that was more entertaining than the entire first movie put together.
Part of me wants to say that looking at paint dry would be more entertaining and probably less predictable….but he, at the very least there was demonic possesion at the end, so that was a plus.
@Fire Fist:
Okay chapter, but I really feel as if Doranbolt has gotten the shaft since the beginning of the Tenrou Island Arc since he hasn't once been shown using his Memory Magic yet, only his Teleport Magic (which was his secondary ability). Kinda sad, too, since he's basically the highest ranking Mage Knight with the Council and Lahar dead.
I have already had enough with memory alteration BS in my shounen the past few years thakyouverymuch. :P
I'm still in shock after the Tsukishima fiasco.
@RobbyBevard:
Yes, she was actually hired on, and promoted as, the first american actress on the show.
That was pretty obviously not actually the case, but they tried to pretend all the same. Might have been her agent's doing, I forget.
Because they couldn't cast an actual american actress why exactly ?
Still, I find it increasingly hard to focus on her accent, given her first appearance was in a bikini. Sorry Mel but I was kinda sad to see you replace her….especially given that Mel doesn't even stay a whole season.
Unusual way to end a series that got the axe. Iron Knight is even good for that.
Aren't those the same thing ? :blink:
@Print:
I was going to say, China's vote here is no surprise. Russia relying on China being more supportive than they actually are does seem to be a recurrent trend in modern history, come to think of it.
Nowhere recognises poor Somaliland :(
I'd be totally in favour of doing that since they seem alot more stable then, well, the rest of Somalia.
@Kaizou:
Kiriw Terrible
Tried to look it up but found no hits. Is that really a thing, and if anyone knows, what's it about ?
The name just sounds intriguing.
@RobbyBevard:
Sure, because jettisoning Carl Barks material is clearly the way to go.
Only in the sense that I didn't see it be used to solve a problem once in this show, which was a nice change.
Not to say it was the best show ever, but somehow I felt kinda less annoyed at Hewey, Louie and Dewey then I do from their "regular" appearances, like, again, the comics.
@Monkey:
You really think turning them into obnoxious 90's brats was a good re-design?
Well at the very very least they each had different types of clothes, so you could tell them apart.
Always they weren't disgustingly good (like in a lot of the comics) and they jettisoned the junior woodchuck stuff into orbit, which was good as all that ever was was a cheap plot device to quickly solve problems.
Well, there was like no chance Hiro would actually do this but at the very least he only spent half a chapter wasting our time, as opposed to actually making it a cliffhanger and wasting a whole week.

@Rogues':
As someone's who is about to graduate college, this is an absolute a slap to my face and cruelly pissing on all the years of effort, hard work, and money that I have put into my education thus far. There is no excuse for this, it pisses me off so much!

How many more posts do I need before I can start posting my own threads?
I don't know, the exact limit isn't publicly known, to avoid spambots being able to adapt to it and make threads I imagine.
Why would anyone register this username out of spite?
Anyways, why can't I post threads on this site outside of the introductions area?
You need more posts to make threads I believe.
Also just joking, though the technical possibility is there, and always was, it's just slightly more probable now that you made this post but again, mostly joing XD
