Perhaps I misread… but are you saying that the art style itself lends to a possibility of fanservice or that there is fanservice in the manga? Because from what I've read, it pales in comparison to Fairy Tail (at the least) and thus not even close to some of the worst offenders. If you're just writing it off because the art looks like it can adopt some fanservice (I suppose if you get off to people with no skeletons…) then... yeah. Dumb.

Also this manga is nothing like Parasyte.

What? Not much to hate in anime except an anime itself, in which case I just don't watch it.

Does it show potential to be? OP is OP because Oda is Oda. OP is the manga made for fans by a fan.

It's so good and Oda is so dedicated to working with his fans that everything else I'm told to read just ends up paling in comparison in one way or another be it JUMP series or monthly series, what have you. I really feel like getting into Fairy Tale because the tanks just have this warm ethereal quality to 'em that beckons me, but if it's a dry series without at least showing the signs of potential for depth (ie. OP we already had a growing crew, Devil Fruits to wonder about, the mystery of GL, sidestories for past characters, heavy-duty drama, etc.) then I don't wanna dedicate myself to it. Not asking for plot details, just whether it shows these qualities or not.

No real depth. They're hinting at some Mage Council having some huge importance later on, but that's it. Each of the stories before that are all self contained, wrapping up at the end of their respective arcs. It only started though.

Anything else I can tell you is worthless. Whether you like the characters, can tolerate the fanservice, and enjoy the pacing/panelling of the fights and events is up to you…

I heard some people on various forums have the first 31 chapters RAW, but considering I'm only a member here (and only wish to be a member here) getting it from them is a problem. The Good News: This place has chapters 17-27 The Bad News: It doesn't have 13-16/28-31. So I ask (with sincerity) does anyone know where I can find the rest?

As far as impressions of the manga, the fight between the girl with no skeleton and the girl with the huge scythe is crazy…

Didn't the Rave anime suck? And aren't most Shonen Magazine manga -> anime panned by fans and only 26-52 episodes long (like Air Gear or Kekkaishi)

Let's hope you don't base the entire library of either console on this shit…
