I finished my last sealed dungeon costlemark. Game is too easy, except when you can't uses your items.

Storytelling is really messy in this game, look at the witcher 3 miles ahead. It's just too short, you literally can see the ending in 10 hours. Everything interesting HAPPENS OFF SCREEN. You play the entire game in Noctis Pov.

The combat is for me great, but like I said, fair to easy(people may find the combat boring and repetitive. Magic and summons are powerful but lacking in variety. Four summons and 3 basic magic upgradable and ring of lucis has 3 spells.

The only game over screen I have seen it's the first three hours, the rest of the game you can spam potions for the win.

About the fetch quests, I didn't to a lot of them. I was hunting monsters, doing some dungeons. Finding some powerful weapons. There is no grind in this game, you level up to easily. Only thing you need to grind is AP. Even earning money is easy in this game.

Graphics is fine for me, only glitched one in my entire 70 hour playthrough.

Music was great probably the best thing about this game.

This time….I think it makes sense to mark the beginning with chapter 515, or "The Great War Begins!", no? We are at….673, right?

That's 158 chapters.

158 of 673 is roughly 23.5%…..factoring in the rest of the year at best, I have the feeling this war will get up to 25%.

1/4 of Naruto's story on this. My word.

This statement warrants discussion. See the problem with the current light novel publishers is that they focus on light novels that are based on anime that are currently popular. However, due to the difficulty of translating and publishing the novels by the time the novels come out several years have gone by and even the big anime fans have moved on to other things. Plus they can't keep up with the fan translators so everyone who wants to read the story already has.

Add that to the fact that most of the big-name popular light novels have some creepy element that won't appeal to any readers outside of hardcore anime fans (for example: the incest in SAO), and yeah you've got yourself a bad situation.

What light novel localizers SHOULD be doing is selecting series that don't have anime and that don't contain elements that would automatically turn most Americans' stomachs. That way they're not constantly trying to ride the wave of popularity and are instead putting out series that are solid to read no matter when they come out. If the coupled good series selection with better marketing… y'know not selling their light novels next to all the manga and actually treating them like normal novels to be sold to everyone, then they could get a lot farther.

However they would also need the support of the anime fans themselves. When they tried making Spice and Wolf look more like a normal novel by changing the cover art there was an enormous amount of backlash from the anime community. We need to learn to accept decisions aimed at making light novels more successful in the West or they're never going to have a chance.

Here's how I would localize a light novel: I would take 2-3 volumes of it at a time to make it the length of an actual normal novel in America, I would pick a series that avoids any icky stuff that would turn off Western readers, I would take out all the art or get a Western artist to replace it, and I would do a lot more marketing both online and through other outlets. Now sure I'd get tons of backlash from the anime community, but most of them would still buy it despite their outrage, whereas the non-anime lovers definitely would NOT buy it if I didn't make these changes.

The covers for Spice and wolf is pretty horrible, they will probaly think this is a trashy romance novel.

Well i have the feeling there is not that many Western readers for light novels. Probably around 1000 at best.

So we should say OVERHYPED , instead of overrated or wut.

Anyway this isnt the last season for sao, there will be at least 2 more seasons.

Kirito get a job offer to investigate mysterious around GGO( When people died in this game they dont really die), basically he jump in the game meet that sniper girl Sinon asking her the mechanics and weapons around GGO. Basically doesnt fit his style so he choose a saber and since he is main protagonist he destroy eveyone with his saber skills. He decided to join tournament to investigate the deaths. He learn more about Sinon further in the tournament.

The villians in this arc are uninteresting, about the same level as Madara and Obito.

SnK and KLK are overrated too, but yeah it's pretty obv that sao wil get season 2 (best selling light novel).

Kubo and Kishi has lose their "passion" for manga long long ago, i doubt they write manga because they love it but for the sake of finishing and money ofcourse.

It's like athlete that loves his/her sport but when big money come he/she will forget how much fun it was and start sucking or they dont care anymore because they are rich anyway.

Not knowing anything about the series, i just saw all the episodes and some are quite good.The setting in the first half is great but yeah rush as all hell in the end. And i found that one of the main problems, the two settings are good on their own right, but the two climax are meh at best. The first half should have been a little longer IMHO and the anime could try having less "girl of the week" characters.

If they make season 2 is probably only the ggo arc and fillers(side stories + volume 7+8). UW( Alicization) is the longest arc in the entire novel. One volume is apparently 17.99% of the whole arc.
