Yeah that's honestly the main reason why i won't get exited for a multiple season adaption. I trust that the showrunners get One Piece and i'm sure they'll do at least a decent job at adapting it. I know i'm going to have fun with it no matter how it turns out (except if they somehow make it really boring). But i don't trust that Netflix will renew it until i hear the official word. I'm definitely rooting for it though.

I tried No Man's Sky again for the first time since shortly after release and spent the whole evening playing it on my PS5. I knew that they updated it again and again but i was so disappointed initially that i never bothered with it again. But the game is barely comparable to the state it was in 6 years ago, it really feels like what they wanted to offer right away, but couldn't manage to. I barely scratched the surface of course, there is apparently tons of content to explore so i'm eager to see how long it will keep me motivated.

Like with every Pokemon game i was trying to get into it without looking at leaks so that i can be surprised by the Pokemon when i found them in the wild. I was.

I thought i'd be over it after Sw/Sh, but i'm still getting sad after seeing the wasted potential with these games ... Especially since they're now going the open world route that i always wished for,

I focused on damage the last time i played and managed to reach the boss of Act 3 straight away, the awakened one.
I wasn't prepared for a second phase unfortunately …
I'll probably try to get a bit farther with the Defect next time. Only tried him once yet.

Interestingly some of the older releases aren't worth a ton. Strong World Ace and Shanks are cheaper than they were on release. As is Law, Lucci and Benn Beckman.

Yeah i got some older POPs really cheap last year, between 4000 and 6500 Yen. Mostly villains and Usopp. I think Mandarake still has them listed with pretty low prices.

Some of the newer ones tho … I pre ordered the Wano Nami figure when it was announced and i think the price almost tripled over time. Probably also because it was limited but other figures also just got more expensive.

Yeah, she looks really great … If it wasn't for that ridiculous price, i'd probably get her.

I played Slay the Spire for like 12 hours, mostly Ironclad, but either i'm really bad at this game or the learning curve is very steep. I managed to beat the first boss a few times but only reached the second boss twice just to get wrecked.
I tried to balance Offense and Defense but in the end i mostly can't block enough and take damage constantly while not being able to kill the enemies fast enough.
I don't know, i like the game, but i think i'm more into roguelikes with permamant upgrades like Hades or Rogue Legacy.

Yes, this show is amazing. Easily my favorite anime right now. I'm just hoping the season won't end on a bad cliffhanger, since the anime has almost reached the manga afaik and it will probably be a while until we get another season …

I didn't finish a lot of games in the last 2-3 years because i lose interest very fast these days unfortunately but Persona 5 is one of those games i finished without taking a long break, despite it's length. And i'm not even into turn based RPGs that much anymore. It's just an amazing game. I'm still listening to the soundtrack regularly.

Elden Ring is the game i'm looking forward to the most right now but i'm not gonna play it before it get a PS5. So i'll probably have to wait a year or so …

Pretty happy with the casting choices overall. It's obvious they put some thought into it and i like that they're all relatively unknown. Of course they still have to convince in action, i'm really curious how they're going to portray Luffy.

I think i'll buy it right away, i liked some Tales games and the demo was promising. And i got nothing to play right now anyway …
The combat was a bit confusing in the demo tho since they threw you right in with 4 characters.

Yeah, weird coices. I'd could see Arnold in a throwaway cameo but i can't think of any character i'd like to see him play.

I'm playing Outriders right now which … isn't the greatest. The story is lame, the characters are boring, the level design reminds of 2010 cover shooters and the amound of loading screens is ridiculous.
But damn, it's fun.

I mean, i love loot shooters in general, so Outriders is right up my alley. But i think no game hit the nerve that the Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer did back in the day like this game.
There are 4 completely different classes with 8 abilities of which you can choose 3 and they all seem like fun. I'm playing the Trickster right now and i have problems deciding which abilities i want to build around since i just want to use them all.
It's also reeeally fun to play in a team and combo different skills.

Kinda wish the game was a bit more inspired as a whole but i'm still hooked.

So they end the second season with a freakin' slideshow. Like "here's all the fun stuff that you won't get to watch".
I mean, the manga was pretty mediocre in the end … but this is on a whole nother level. What a shitshow.

Legends looks suuuper rough … but it is exactly what i always wanted. Let's hope they don't fuck it up.

So at 1:42 we see a a screen in the background with an exoskeleton which looks like Godzilla and some cut off words which most likely say "Primary Systems: Maximum Charge". Hmmmm. I wonder what that could mean …

The only thing i want from them is to not fuck up the Mass Effect Remaster.
It would be nice to get a new good Dragon Age and Mass Effect game but at this point i don't have any expectations.

Still not finished with the story though and i don't know how much is still left, but i should be close to the end i guess? I know there is a looot of endgame stuff so i'm looking forward to that.

I'm at Adventure Rank 25 in Genshin Impact now, still doing the main story and exploring the world. I read that some people had problems gaining XP for the Adventure Rank requirements at level 23-27 and had to grind for it but i guess since i'm exploring most of the time anyway i had no problems in that regard. I guess after the story is done the real grind for materials and endgame gear begins but if you're just interested in the story and/or gameplay you can just stop and wait for the next update.
The design and especially the music of the south-western area are really great by the way. I stopped more than once to look at the beautiful environments.

The thing is … at this point i have no problem spending some money on the game. But i really don't like gambling for characters especially since the prices are insane. It's like 20 bucks for a 10-pull which guarantees a 4 star weapon or character.
And then we have the 5 star weapons and characters which have a rate of 0,6 percent per pull. Yes you're guaranteed to get one after 90 pulls but ... that's still a lot. And if you want to fully upgrade the passives of a specific character you have to get the same one seven freaking times. Nah, i'll stay free to play.
Also i got a bunch of cool characters including the 5-star i wanted to have the most so i'm good.

Yeah i'm downloading Genshin Impact right now on PC since it looks pretty fun and i'm sure i'll get some hours out of it at least.
I have no problem spending some money on it after a while if i'm still having fun with it. But the main difference between this and Warframe f. e. is of course … you don't know what you'll get. You may want to play that awesome looking character that is super strong but good luck getting it with a 0.6 % drop chance. Meanwhile in Warframe i'll just buy that frame that i want and that's it.

But in general it seems to be mainly for endgame stuff and energy so it's fine for me. At least i'm not planning to delve that deep into it .... o.o

I think so far Megahouse released/announced Wano Chopper, Nami, Luffy, Zoro and Law. My guess would be Sanji and/or Robin are next.
The rest of the strawhats would be great too of course but i'm not holding my breath.

Mainly playing Hades right now on the Switch. It's without a doubt my favorite game so far this year and i wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone who is remotely interested in roguelike games.
It's very fast paced, has great story and characters and an awesome soundtrack. I'm finished my 30th run today and there is still so much left to achieve.

Yeah i don't know why i would need a PS5 in the first year especially since i got my PC to play new games like Cyberpunk. I'll wait and see what gets released and is being announced in 2021.

Just because Germany itself does handle the pandemic relatively well doesn't mean that there aren't idiots over here. I'm pretty sure this is true for every country. Although some seem to have more than others.
It's not only the conspiracy crowd, it's also (mainly but not exclusively) young people that are getting impatient and want to have fun without worrying about the virus … which led to a slight increase im the number of new daily cases in the last week or so.

I enjoyed the first game but i still read the spoiler because i don't care THAT much. Honestly, my first reaction was "what the hell? I don't wanna play this." so i get the outrage to a point.

Gonna echo Zeorns opinion, i liked Dorohedoro and Eizouken the most and Hero Academia and Haikyuu were a lot of fun too.

Regarding this season … Most people seem to like Tower of god. So far it seems pretty good imo.
BNA is the new Trigger anime, i thought the first episode was alright.
Sing "yesterday" for me is my favourite right now. It's slice of life/Drama if you're into that.
And the new Kaguya-sama season started and it's fun as usual.

Seems like an "okay" season to me.

After using about 250 Nook Miles Tickets in the last month i finally found Raymond.
Got him, my favorite villager Ankha and a 5 star island … I think i can finally focus on other games now.

The series always had fantasy elements, sure. But i don't feel like this is consistent with the things that had been shown so far, even with Kyoukais spiritual stuff.

It's still my favourite Pokemon-like game. It had unique creatures that grew in size and were fusable, an alright story, voice acting and a nice soundtrack.
It's too bad there haven't been more games after the sequel.
