Those lines from Volume 30 were awful, there is no real justification to this, but the "Fear the Kami" line was sort of cool just because of the "the".

It's the "the" that makes what should be an awful line look pretty ok.

I was originally going to post this in the disney thread, but there are movies with villain songs other than Disney.

Which of these song types do you enjoy better? Usually in musicals, villains only get one song, but that song usually ends up being huge enough to steal the show.

My vote goes to villains. They are so sick in their songs and provide a greater affect on me than a standard hero song. Their slow tempo and demonic instrumentals provides a change of pace in the mood of the story as a whole. Then comes the art that is usually present during these songs. Though, normally dark purple, the purple just makes the color of the moving objects stand out even more.

Sheesh, with Letter Bee leaving, I'm hoping Ultimo doesn't get the boot.

He's underdeveloped, but very frikken suave. He is one of the best villains so far. Oh and you can't help but love the bloody shadow he has.

Even though you can take this with a grain of salt, but I heard that CN didn't even bid for Naruto. They've been putting all their money on the live action Star Wars series that they decided Shipudden was unnecessary.

Another thing that might make people stop worrying about Naruto, XD might've gotten Vampire Knight. Take all this with a grain of salt though.

I just heard that Fresh Prince is airing at a "G" rating on Disney XD while being nearly unedited. I think this is a good sign for Naruto.

Black Cauldron was only dark when the Horned King was on screen, and even then he was just scary. It was as light if not lighter then most of their movies.
Lion King, B&B, Hunchback, etc are much darker in parts, and have much more distressing villains.

I mean come on, who leaves the real imprint.

Or Scar straight up murdering Mufasa then guilting Simba into running away terrified before he sends his minions to kill him.

Here's something better that will leave more of an imprint than that: The horn King dies with his skin being torn off and his blood splattering everywhere (that was blood, it just looks like his clothes.) That's one heck of a big imprint.

Oh and the scary face I posted earlier would have left a bigger imprint had it been left in the movie. But the scene still exists it's just deleted and can be re-added to the movie on DVD.

There was also the scene where a skeleton warrior slashes a guy's throat. Also Taran had killed a few people in the escape of the Horned King's castle; but it's a deleted scene.

Each one of those deleted scenes would have made this the darkest Disney film: Going for an R rating. (Yea, I know I didn't need to add those last spaced sentences, but what the hell.)

In Nov. we'll be at Alabasta. It will only have taken us 3 years to beat 4kids and then we can forget about them forever as nothing but a bad memory.

Future printings. I believe they just release a newer print into the market which mixes with the older ones until they are eventually the only ones. I think that's what happened when they changed Zoro to "Zolo" for the first 4 volumes.

But wouldn't it still be losing money since most people own the 21 Zolo volumes? Who would go and buy the series all over for just Viz fixing Zolo and all those other inconsistencies? I know most anime fans are die hard collectors, but with the jumped pricing of manga coming, I don't think most people would do that.

(Sheesh, why do I bother?) I don't think Viz is that smart since they didn't do that with their first 4 volumes when they had to replace Zoro with Zolo. Or at least that's how I saw it (I found a lot of those volumes.

Now don't think of me as intruding but how is there anything Viz can do about "Zolo." If they did bring it back to Zoro I'm sure readers wouldn't be that pissed, but if Viz did change it back to "Zoro" would they not have to re-edit every single volume they have released before? They have released 21 volumes so far in a large quantity. If they changed it back to Zoro, they would need to edit all those volumes to say Zoro. What will happen to the volumes that say Zolo? Unnesecessary (sp) waste of money if you ask me.

Viz dug their own hole, to retreat and fix it all would be throwing away money and paper. Then again I am not familiar to how these companies edit their things.

Frankly I found the Horn King to be more menacing than Shan Yu. Even though he had Creeper around he didn't phase or complain about his idiocy. He just strangled him silently with frustration. Plus, even though he wanted to be cliche about ruling the world, he did it in style. Deathless warriors FTW.
