Really fantastic episode overall.
Absolutely gorgeous animation all throughout. Naotoshi Shida's work, despite being formulaic, is nevertheless very satisfying and appealing to watch, especially for henshin scenes.
Tetsuro Nireki's has proven to be a force to be reckoned with since he animated Kaido's blast breath and his work here is no different. Some of his cuts really reminded me of Ryo Onishi.
There were many non regular animators, Takahiro Watabe from FGO, webgen animator Mitchell Gonzales whose use of smears was gorgeous, webgen animator Ron Deseo, AoT's Meng Sun who also initially animated the raid suit sequence in the opening and finally bloody Shuu Sugita, all did an absoluely tremendous job.
Katsumi Ishizuka was just flabbergastingly amazing. He came again proving loud and clearly why he is the greatest action animator on One Piece. he's really embracing them Kameda brush strokes now and I absolutely love it.
While also supervising the episode, Kenji Yokoyama did a very impressive job. This man is in his 70's, he has been the most consistent supervisor who has continously been working on the show since episode 3 and he's still managing to outdo himself. Crossword my man, you're don't give this awesome animation supervisor enough credit.
This episode was also young female assistant episode director Nanami Michibata's debut as an episode director. The direction wasn't perfect (well because it's her first time ever directing an episode duh), but it was very competent for a first time because directing one of the most anticipated episodes of this 2nd act of Wano was for sure a very difficult task and kudos to her for putting together such a tremendous episode.
Don't hesitate to check each individual animator's work here:

@Watch-man:
Animation was awesome. Fact that he did not beat Page 1 was lame imo.
In manga he is suggested to land an attack on Page 1 - same type of attack that KOed wounded Luffy during Whole Cake Island arc. I am dissapointed with anime outcome.
Maybe because the anime knew that Page One wasn't defeated and Oda gave them this info beforehand.
! The anime staff also knew about Kyoshiro being Denjiro.
