      So, you can find some scans here if you want.

      Shoot, I was hoping that some of the Foxy Pirates' main participants in the Davy Back Fight would get cards, at least to confirm who joined the crew naturally and who was won in past Davy Back Fight competitions.

      All of the Beasts Pirates' and Orochi have either their beast forms, hybrid forms, or both for the Zoan Devil Fruit they ate labeled on the front of their cards, but that's not the case for past characters who ate Zoan DFs like Dalton, Miss Merry Christmas, the top three fighters of CP9, Sengoku, etc.. Granted they might appear in the How to laugh, The first person, or tone sections or on the back of their cards for some of the scenes they use for their important moments in the series, but that's not the same as what their doing for Kaido, the All-Stars, the Tobiroppo, and Orochi.

      @otakufan:

      Just a guess, and do forgive me for jumping immediately into Yams4Nakama, but it's probably because Yamato is more likely to get an updated card later on than King is.

      The fact that King isn't a bog-standard human has been clear from his introduction back in Act II (I think), so they've know they'd have to address it for quite some time, and that, in all likelihood, this would be the only card for them to do so on, so I'd expect them to have prepared that reveal in advance. Furthermore, any info regarding the Lunarians on King's card could be revealed in simple text, without the need for accompanying artwork beyond just panels of King himself.

      By contrast, Yamato only revealed that he had a Devil Fruit at all during his brief skirmish with Sasaki & Co., which was much more recent, and we only got the full reveal a couple of chapters ago. Even if they knew the fruit's name and powerset in advance, as I'm sure they did, there wasn't any artwork for his hybrid form until the past couple of chapters - they wouldn't have been able to do much more than give the name, some relevant text, and maybe a concept sketch or two. So, if they had reason to think Yams might get a second card in the future (likely due to joining the Strawhats), they might have been inclined to save his DF until they had art to go along with it.

      That does make sense. I don't know if this is similar, but Law's card does now acknowledge that he is a member of the D. clan, where as his first card from the Supernova pack didn't. Even though the databook was announced during Levely arc and I don't know how old the Dressrosa arc was by then.

      On another note, Zoro's card still lists him as only possessing Armament and Observation Haki, even though on Luffy's new card there is an image of him attacking Kaido with a CH infused punch, which takes place after Zoro attacks him using his new Kyutoryu technique. I don't know if it's not listed on there because it's speculation on Kaido's part or because in the chapter Zoro uses it, his response to Kaido asking him if he can use was that "he didn't know what he was talking about."?

      Go over the pictures posted of the packs I noticed that Yamato's Devil Fruit section is listed as "???", even thought I could have sworn her DF was named in the chapter that revealed it. It also interesting that the name of King's race (Lunarian) makes it onto his card, despite being revealed last chapter, but Yamato's DF section doesn't give a name to it, despite that chapter being released way before the name of the pack containing her card was revealed.

      How far ahead do you think they plan on what information is put on the cards? The latest chapter revealed the name of King's race and the new pack comes out this week and I'm wondering if it will make it on to his card?

      @rayleigh92:

      Things I expect or hope for:

      • Drake getting the updated bounty. Kinda strange to see him still on 222.
      • Kaido's age around middle 50
      • Jack confirmed haki user
      • Yamato confirmed haki user
      • Who's-Who updated to CP0 shit, so if he's been Impel Down prisoner, if he escaped with Teach, etc
      • Who's-Who and Sasaki's former crew names
      • Page One and Ulti's face revealed somehow (via sketches?)
      • Drake, Hawkins, Apoo and Killer confirmed haki users
      • Drake history involving Sengoku suggesting he's SWORD-tied too
      • Onimaru confirmed as some sort of Devil Fruit user
      • Something about Hitetsu confirming or denying him being Oden's father

      Strange to have Numbers as we saw only half of them; already a second Denjiro one we few or nothing to add?

      It was confirmed in Chapter 996 that Yamato could at least use armament haki:

      https://imgur.com/a/W4YN0t7

      I do expect it to reveal that they can use observation haki, but I will be surprised if it also reveals they can Conqueror's as well.

      It's likely the All-Stars and the rest of the Tobiroppo are all Haki users, since that seems to be a theme with the strongest members of an Emperor's crew. Also it would be kinda weird of the those below the top three strongest fighters to possess the ability to use it but not them.

      Also Caribou's cover story did confirm that Drake was an armament haki user, since he was able to bypass Caribou's swamp based body to attack him.

      @Captain:

      Good catch on the Gifters. I wonder if all the Emperors will manage to get their own EX sets. Shanks and Blackbeard don't seem like they have a lot of mook level guys. Kind of a shame the crew-specific EX cards don't get the crew's colour and only go with the generic light blue.

      And while I'm in the thread, what's with Shueisha being so slow with the cover reveals this month? We're barely more than a week out from release and there's no covers here, no high quality image of volume 100's cover and nothing about which series is getting colour volumes in September. Hope this doesn't become the norm.

      I think the reason why the Whitebeard Pirates got their own EX card was due fact that their pack only had five characters from that crew who got their own cards (Newgate, Ace, Marco, Jozu, and Vista). While the rest of the pack was three of their allies (Jinbe, Oars Jr., and Squard), the Hancock Sisters, Sabo, and Sterry.

      Currently the Beasts Pirates has the least amount characters with cards (two, until the their pack is released), but after that the Red Hair Pirates will the be Emperor crew with the least amount of character cards at four, not counting alternate cards (such as Shanks at a younger age).

      I don't know if someone else has already brought this up, but going over the Wano EX cards there are no entries for some of the Gifters, mainly the ones residing in Bakura Town or the guards at Udon. It doesn't seem like they're doing a Beasts Pirates EX card like they did with the Whitebeard pack. It's seems likely that the Shinuchi who defected to the alliance (like Speed and Babanuki) will likely be featured in the New Generation pack (to make room for some other characters in the Beasts Pirates pack).

      @Captain:

      Oh god, that has the look of another Luffy card…

      If there is another Luffy (and possibly Zoro) card it'll likely contain update information revealed during the Luffy, Zoro, Law, Kid, and Killer vs. Kaido and Big Mom fight. Such as Luffy being able to infuse Conqueror's Haki into his attacks or that Zoro can use Conqueror's Haki.

      @Captain:

      A sticker index is the only reasonable way to do any kind of table of contents for these folios but tbh they're probably all gonna remain on the sticker sheet forever because I'll be too worried I'll rearrange things later.

      Interested to see what new cards we get. Hopefully we get a few new faces as well as double-ups for existing characters. At this point Luffy's almost definitely getting a kid card, since Sabo and now Ace also have. At a guess, they might be giving us some of the prominent characters from the early acts of Wano now as a hype thing. The colour manga let another release window go by with no announcements, so it'd make sense if the colourists had been pulled back to do some new cards. Fingers crossed.

      If the index pack goes by the same card count as previous packs than there will likely be two character cards in the pack (10 index sheets, 4 sticker sheets, 2 character cards). 10 year old Ace has been confirmed for this pack, so possibly 7 year old Luffy (I might be off with the age) will be the other character that will be part of the pack, rounding out the three brothers. But who knows, maybe the card count for the index pack will be higher than the regular packs. I hope so, because I really don't want to wait for the third binder's stater pack for character cards that were passed over in previous packs (ex. Nola, Yokozuna, the Macro Pirates, Opera, Galette, and possibly the Charlotte Decuplets and more Foxy Pirates).

      Also I believe you mentioned in a previous post that Oda didn't like the idea of promo and event cards, so if there is a second index pack it would seem like good opportunity to re-release the Luffytaro and Zorojuro cards, just like they did with the Law skill card in the Punk Hazard pack.

      @TheGreatCaptainUsopp:

      Godswill is no longer part of the One Piece at a Time podcast either sadly, but that of course doesn't say anything about the dub continuing - since Godswill was never part of the brand management team for One Piece

      I might be misinterpreting what you're saying and I apologize if I do. He might not have been part of the brand management team, but he still might have been privy to some info about how One Piece was doing in the US (such as sales figures for DVD sales or viewer count on Funimation Now).

      @Zek:

      Looks like Chris Rager is our new Blackbeard. A pretty good choice, so long as he can keep himself from just sounding like Arlong.

      To be fair his voice for Arlong is similar to his voice for Mr. Satan. I've heard Chris in other shows like Assassination Classroom were I didn't know he was voicing a character until I saw his name in the credits, although in later episodes there were some instances were I could here Mr. Satan in his character's voice.
