nice chapter.. but the fact that 2 chapters ago zaraki went ape sh!t and lost, and now hitsugaya goes full bankai and even though considered an asspull, he sill doesn't own gerard..
seriosuly kubo.. you get 3 fan fave characters in one fight and you don't know how to use them properly..

A question I have about Gear 4 is how is he keeping his rubber's elasticity while in contact with Doffy's CoA kick?
Isn't CoA supposed to bypass DF properties?
Is it because Luffy's CoA is surpassing Doffy's? or is it because he actually have air inside him which allowed him just bounced it off with his insane muscles after a small compression?

i think mix of both.. gear 4 allows him to coat his body in haki while still maintaining the elastic properties of his DF..

my first one piece chapter i've read is 655 "punk hazard" i started it at the end of FI arc in the anime.. as i was an anime watcher back then.. i really don't remember what time is that but it was the year of 2013.. and since then i didn't watch the anime.. terrible pacing and animation..

Well I'm still almost 200 episodes behind being uptodate but it's taken me around a month or less to get up to the Marinford Arc. Yes I've been marathon One Piece like mad.

Gah coming up to the Post war arc and reading the write up of some episodes it looks VERY tedious. 26 episodes is too much.

take my advice.. read the manga after TS.. one piece has always had a slow pacing.. but after the TS it becomes very obvious..

It's totally worth it.

It has some stereotypical elements, but the range of characters and abilities displayed (even in a short number of chapters) is excellent.

It also has a great mix of comedy and action.

The character designs alone make it worth reading tbh.

Izuku (the MC) training to get stronger in the earlier chaps is done for a reason that makes SENSE. There haven't been any other solo training montages since either.

And Horikoshi (the author) likes to turn tropes on their heads and is one of the most creative authors in Jump right now (imo). You really don't have to worry about the manga becoming stale for a looooooooooong time.

well, it's all speculations by the way, we still have to see where oda is going to go with fujitora. coby, wether he was an afterthought by oda who decided to change his role or not, he's in the story from the very beginning, and with a strong resemblance with luffy in terms of personal objectives. i hope he doesn't become the fleet admiral, i would see it as a too big stretch but, given his growth i have this feeling.

smoker i don't really know. i really like him, even if he always end up defeated til now, i just can't see him to become a fleet admiral because of his character design, it doesn't suit well in a role like that but i don't know. him particularly (and in small part fuji too) seems to be the garp of the present rather than something else.

aokiji is one of my fave, but it's still lacking a strict moral definition to be something to be considered for that role. at least for the moment. i see him like the 7th warlord rightnow but i understand i could be really wrong.

oh yeah i forgot about fujitora totally.. yeap he is my #1 for the fleet admiral..
let's just hope green bull isn't more of a beast..

i need your guys opinion on this.. is it worth picking it up..? it's getting a lot of hype lately but i can't get over the thought that it's just another stereotypical manga where the MC is a good boy that trains to get stronger..

Probably no change in bounties.

First, half of the crew is not on Dressrosa. That should be the most obvious reason.

Then, Fujitora is there with some vice admirals to take the credit, as well as the marines and government agents that were turned into toys for investigating Doflamingo.

Theres's also the fact that the Strawhats just entered the new world, it's probably too soon for their raises. They'll get new bounties after taking down a yonkou.

At the most Luffy might take a raise, since he's the captain and his bounty is always changing. If that happens, I'd say he gets 500 million (give or take 20 million).

i agree with you.. i expected the who crew to get a raise.. but the way things are now maybe not even luffy will get a raise..

i can't believe it that zoro lost to sabo by one vote..? it was that tough..

oh and the member made posters definitely need to last till the end of the tournament and not just this round..
