Oh. That was… weird. The randomness wasn't that irky, it was actually funny, although most of the kids have bad designs. Really bad. Chocho and Salada (lol) seem to be the only saving graces design-wise.
On the other hand, I've always hated SasuSaku. Always. The worst thing was that I've also been sure all the time that they would hook up, and they did. At least I was mentally prepared.
Tenten's end wasn't so bad. Think about it, at least she is a businesswoman, albeit an unsuccesful one. It's definitely better than being the most hardcore female ninja in her teens, Temari, and then moving permanently in the kitchen. Oh, and Sakura, a medic, a person who should have a very high rank in society and receive a lot of respect... has also moved in the kitchen. Yay.
It's kind of sad that among all the random pairings, LeeTen doesn't have its place. They made some sort of sense... But that could just be my having translated Springtime of Youth into the original story (that spin-off is everything good in the world).
All in all, this ending is better than the biggest part of the war. It would have sucked had the series kept the quality it had back during Part I, but now it feels decent.
