    • RE: LOST Season 2: Spoilers abound

      Man, I hope it's Kate or Anna Lucia. I hate both of them. I don't think it will be Claire, because of Aaron. For some reason I think it could be Shannon, but that would be kinda dumb since they already killed off Boone. Who knows.

      And yeah, this episode was better than the last. I like how Michael, Sawyer, and Jin have grown closer, so to speak. I always get a kick out of whenever someone exchanges a Meaningful Look with Jin. Like he really understood what was just said.

      Schrodinger's Fishman! XD

      WIN.

      Also, goodness you people are defensive of Mr. 11's death. I did notice the lack of 1s on his face, but think of it this way: sometimes Nami's tattoo disappears, or Zoro's sword faces the wrong way. I'm not saying that is or isn't Mr. 11, I'm just saying that there have been plenty of times where someone looked like they were definitely dead and it turned out they weren't.

    • RE: Are you satisfied with your real name?

      I used to hate my name, but I'm… kind of over it. I like the way it looks spelled out, though: Michelle. Two ls. I don't like just one. All though, given how popular the name was when I was born, I know surprisingly few Michelles my age.

      I also like my middle name, but not in tandem with my first name, because they're hard to enunciate when they're together, and if you don't do it properly, you get the name of a tire company. So that's always fun.

      I hate my last name (mom's maiden), though, but I love my dad's, because it's actually an extremely, extremely rare spelling of a very common name. In fact, we're the only ones in the book. Which is why I think it would be wise of me not to say it here.

    • RE: Crocodile vs. Bon Clay

      I would be going against every fiber of my being if I voted against Bon-chan.

      One may stray from the path of a man. One may stray from the path of a woman. But there is no straying from the path of a human!

      @jackvance:

      That probably has something to do with it yes. But it's more like this: if a girl looks really needy then it turns a guy off. There's not even reasoning involved there.

      That totally makes sense. It was just something I was curious about :laugh:

    • RE: How do u take a video clip from an episode

      QuickTime Pro'll do it in a snap, but it ain't free, so I'd imagine a lot of people find that unappealing.

      I wouldn't be surprised if they cut Robin joining the crew out.

      blink How would that not be surprising?

    • RE: Untitled

      I don't really get the whole "slut" thing. If it's someone's prerogative to sleep around… whatever. I guess it comes from the whole asexual bit (you thought I was joking, didn't you?). Is it a pride thing? "Yeah, I slept with Person A, but they were easy, so big freaking deal"?

      What I don't like, however, are people who think they have to sleep with someone to get them to like them, and, in that vein, people who equate sex with love. I've never really met a guy like this, but I've met a few girls, and they drove me nuts. I guess I get the feeling that they're trying to "justify" sex. It's like, sleep with them if you want, but don't turn it into a big production.

    • RE: What happens to Arlong?

      I'll have to take your word for it, but there's always the possibility that the crew member was mistaken. I won't argue it, though, because there's no point 😃 Just my stance on the whole "who's dead, who's not" thing.

      @Myoti:

      If anything, he probably at least had his legs removed or something as punishment. :l

      Or Doflamingo was just screwing with him. He's pretty twisted; I wouldn't put it past him.

      @Zephos:

      Roshio the Executioner.
      Millions of Alabastans.
      Mr.11.
      The dude Nami sees killed in Vol.26 on God's Island.
      Many Marines in Eneas Lobby.
      Several of Kreig's men.
      One of Buggy's dudes.
      Maybe Bellamy.

      As for background characters, even then it's hard to be sure–Oda just doesn't like to kill. He's said it himself.

      Re: Mr. 11... hmm, look there in the bottom left:

      (It's in the manga, too–top left panel.)

      I could swear that that was actually confirmed somewhere, but my memory is horrible and I might just be making that up. Sure looks like him, though. It wouldn't be far-fetched to believe, anyway. It sure looked like Pell got blown up, but he came back good as new.

      And I stand by the fact that I would be seriously surprised if Bellamy were actually dead.

      -- OMG. Look! Mr. 3's there too! Ha, I didn't even notice. (Though we know he's alive because of the recent cover story. Bah, I'd forgotten. See? Horrible memory.)
