Dez caught the ball. Two feet landed on the ground. (Three steps actually) he became a runner at that moment. He made a football move when he switched hands with the ball and lunged for the goal line. I understand the rule is to complete the process of the catch and he did. The official made a judgmental call on rather the lunge was a football move or not. Bad rule, bad call.

If you can stomach it, you can try to read the first 20 or so pages and discern for yourself. A lot of people seemed offended, but what made this interesting is that there were notable members on both sides of the debate. And a dude with a Naruto avatar argued pretty damn well, it was interesting. These kinds of debates get a lot more entertaining once you know the members. I don't see a lot of trolling on this forum, so probably hardly anyone in that discussion was trolling. Trolls are usually obvious and get axed fairly quickly. Under-the-radar trolls are the ones you have to watch out for, but they hardly exist.

I'm not saying you have to of course, but if you find the good ones, forums are a great place to tickle your mind and find interesting people that you can find positive aspects about that you may want to incorporate into your existence. People argue over things like sexism at the drop of a hat. Or a swipe of the bra.

Well I did read through a number of posts which prompted my original post. I really don't understand why debating sexism in one piece has anything to do with anything at all. Okay sure there are times where women appear weak and used. But where in our world is that never portrayed? Why get offended by it in a story? I am not trying to start a war, actually I am trying to qualm one. I really don't think this type of discussion should be debated in this thread at all.

That being said I'll just step off the soap box and get back to the related topic, being chapter 732. Thanks for your enlightening conversation good sir.

Since a large part of reading is interpretation, it's up to the reader to interpret what is sexist in their view. So it has everything to do with One Piece. Though I don't think this particular chapter had anything problematic in it, there's still moments of subjective sexism throughout this story and many other stories, intentional or not.

So why debate, or argue about it?

How does sexism have anything to remotely do with one piece? Only way i could see sexism is if Oda made a woman stay in the kitchen.

this episode was improperly named.. sure we had a little bit of the scuffle between vergo and smoker… but the beef of it was mainly about caesar.

This was an entertaining episode. Even for filler, if I were a newb to One Piece I'd be enthralled.

This was all over the place! I kinda liked it, because it was unpredictable to me.

Omg.. this was comedy gold! That Franky Coup de Boo when he jumped out of the cage. I had to pause and laugh my ass of for awhile. I really enjoyed this one.

I don't think we've seen the full extent of CoC. I think we've only seen a glimpse of what CoC is capable of.

I watched KoL's review of this week's chapter and he had a pretty good theory of what Doflamingo said was the "sky road" or whatever.
Remember when we saw Apoo and his crew being chased by that pack of hogs and they ran off a cliff? However, they did not fall. Perhaps there are these invisible paths you can walk on. He went on and mentioned how Gan Fall said there was another way to sky island besides the knock up stream. Maybe it could be one of these sky paths.
I thought it was pretty interesting, and I should share it with you guys.
