the guy who animated 13:00 - 17:00 is incredible. The whole series should look like that, not the stiff Toei crap that is usually aired. If every episode were animated like those four minutes, the anime would be infinitely better. It looks like movie 6.

The first thing that's going to happen in the new world is Luffy's going to get his ass handed to him. Luffy was defeated twice before he was able to rise to the Shichibukai level, so to get to Yonkou, he's got to really get whooped. Remember, even though Aokiji let him go, Luffy would have been dead if Aokiji hadn't taken pity on him. The Yonkou won't be as forgiving. A good ass kicking will give luffy the drive to come up with a better technique than the gears, because the after-effects of them are obviously not working.

I don't post often, but I've been One Piece-less for far too long, so here I go.

I just moved in to college a few weeks ago. I go to a big university that has some strict policies about downloading files over the internet. Apparently, if you use any sharing software (i.e. BitTorrent) they can track your IP address and sue you.

I found this hard to believe, when one of the girls in my dorm told me that she used LimeWire to download a song, only to have one of the guys in IT come up to her later that night and say "you downloaded one song with LimeWire today, didn't you?"

So I was wondering...is MIRC safe in that aspect? Can I use MIRC here without getting my broke-as-it-is-ass sued off the face of the planet?

Yeah, i'd like to see SOME action clips in the new opening…but spoilers for the anime fans are really rough...even in Alabasta, they released Hikari E with Robin in it like, 15 episodes before she even joined, and it totally ruined it for the people watching the anime...

I like that Opening 7 is all animated versions of the color spreads, but it doesn't draw me in to the series, or even give a first time viewer SOME kind of background info, regardless of the stupid Roger backstory they play every episode to eat time...

Maybe "One Piece" is just another one of Oda's English alternative spellings, and that once the pirate king has gotten to the end of the Grand Line, everyone will be united under him and we'll have ONE PEACE~! And puppies, and rainbows, and Chimney and Gonbe running through a field of posies and such…

Yeah, i got the VLC player, but it still skips around. In 289, it skips from Fukurou getting up from his beat down to Franky's Coup de Boo. I think my bittorrent client must be bad. I have bitcomet, is there a better one?

Hey, is it just me, or are some of the more recent episodes corrupted. Maybe it's my bittorent client, but the last 4 or so episodes have been choppy. the last one skipped about 2 minutes. I've tried playing them in WMP, where i usually play them, and also the zoom player to the same result. I love the adc subs and they do great work, but it's hard to truly appreciate it when there are technical difficulties.

With franky, now there's every color in the rainbow (red/luffy, orange/nami, yellow/usopp, green/zoro, blue/sanji, indigo/franky, violet/robin…pink(?)/chopper...)

I think it's interesting, if you look at a fated color for each crew member. Luffy was destined to have an indigo color-person. ViviIindigo) almost joined, and when she didn't, there was a need to fill that color requirement. We should have seen it coming...

wouldn't it be a kick in the ass if there wasn't a new ship at all? If it was just some modification Franky made to his body, similar to the Elastigirl boat-thing in the Incredibles, and everyone just piles in. I just think it'd be really funny if instead of getting a new crewmember and a new ship, we get a crew member who is the new ship. That is SO oda's style…it probably won't happen, but it'd be really funny anyway

A logia user would definately be cool. I really want to see the devil fruit that owns all devil fruit: the mizu mizu (water) no mie! Think about it! If the Devil Fruit's only weakness is the sea, and you're made of water, how indestructable are you? How much of a shock would that be if they fought a merman tho? They start using water bullets only to have them shot back at them.

The crew could also have an astronomer...Nami's a great navigator, but she doesn't seem to know a lot about the stars. That would be awesome...

The only thing i can think of is if the gomu gomu no mie turned out to be a logia fruit instead of a paramecia. Then he could control rubber outside of his body. I mean, the other paramecia are just interesting things to do to your body, Luffy's is a complete elemental change. But, if he was able to, he'd probably have figured it out by now, so Oda will hopefully come up with something better than, oh, i don't know, GEAR 1,239…

I don't think luffy will ever join the shichibukai, nor have someone infiltrate the WG. Face it: Luffy was never one for subtlely. Every time Nami or Usopp suggest a plan, he ignores them and goes charging in. He does things his way, and he won't ever compromise that.

Maybe that's why aokiji was so scared of robin…he thought that the color of her hair made her a bad guy.

I loved all the powerups the mugiwaras got. It's so easy for an anime to just go "I think I'll go super sayan 12!! AHHHHHH! ::hair turns tye dye::" but all the mugiwaras got really interesting and original power boosts.

Although the fight dragged a little, Kaku was definately my favorite. The Giraffe giraffe fruit? come on, that's awesome.

Sogeking was fun, I hope that he switches back and forth with usopp, it'd be lame if it's just one of them from now on.

Hmmm…I think it'd be cool if the "D's" were D-scendents (AHAHAHA) from the overthrown royal family. If Luffy and Roger are related, and if as Smoker said in Loguetown, their personalities are inherited, the ruler of the old kingdom would be the type to trust someone close to him, only to be stabbed in the back. An "et tu, brute?" moment, if you will. IDK, speculation is fun ><

lol, NES….yeah, i find that oda often purposely misspells words to turn them into names of places. Has anyone brought up the spanish translation of the alternate katakana reading of "ohara," (r and l are the same sound) to "ojala" Which is a subjunctive clause to say "I pray that..." since robin's thing is spanish...

But yeah, Enies is definately a reference to Aeneus...and with the dantes inferno thing, the titans ARE guarding the gate, Oimo and kaashi...hmmm....

Maybe Oda draws on the founding of rome referring to Luffy staking his place as a world leader of a nation of outlaws.

Even though it just started, i think this one could reach the cult level of success that FLCL did. The writing is seamless, and the art is breathtaking. Ruppina sings One Piece endings 9 and 10. I was just making sure I could sing her songs cuz I'm a guy, and all the male singers are Uber tenors (really high) and that's physically impossible for me. I CAN sing some of the girls songs an octave down, so if that's ok I'm in.

Well, I've been a One Piece fan ever since the oh-so-stylin (lol) anime insider recommended it to me. THe rest is history. I'm in high school, but i consider myself an actor. Not if you have a logian type devil fruit, or if the person who died wasn't really roger. The marines have fucked up before. I don't know what the policy is on the existence of more than one of the same type of fruit, but maybe someone had Bon Clay's powers, and transformed themselves to look like roger. Or, did anyone really know what roger looked like? I have never seen an old wanted poster for him. And they always black out his eyes.

I don't know, I still think that Roger isn't dead. I mean, come on, the most powerful pirate of all time getting his head chopped off by a pair of two-bit marines? You'd think that roger would have some akuma no mie power that would let him somehow avoid that. I think the execution was a hoax, and the original Roger crew is sitting out there waiting for a new crew that could match them in strength (mugiwara) since obviously Whitebeard wasn't quite up to Roger's level. As for who they are, so much emphasis is placed on the role models for the mugiwaras, i wouldn't doubt that each one of them was, in one way or the other, directly linked to Roger's crew. The shichibukai can suck it, they don't have a clue. No one on Roger's crew would sell out like that. I wouldn't be surprised if the mugiwara link to Dragon hasn't come about yet though. BTW, is Franky going to construct Pluton when Enies Lobby is all done? Wouldn't that be a kick in the crotch to WG?
