RE: How do you feel about Luffy's new fruit?
I don't know why mine says I'm here for the ride but I hate it
I mean the fruit is still the gomu gomu. Some of the applications of the fruit now are clear gomu gomu, no need for nika and no need for some of the over the top attacks done recently, I liked 70% of the last 2 chapters but some were really like what the f.
Regardless hate it, should have stayed gomu gomu, also massive drop in tensions idk shame it, ill finish one piece but what a let down.

RE: Greg: Teacher of SUPER " OP " course !
If it has to be a Mythical Zoan, similiar to Sengoku's or Luffy's, then the only "plant based" thing I can think of would be a Cernunnos-style deity, which may or may not also fit the Green Bull theme.
Pretty sure everyone has seen some kind of interpretation of it somewhere, it's pretty common in games and fantasy stuff (half naked dude with Antlers or Horns with control other flora and fauna).Completly forgot about this! Well observed.
-
RE: Greg: Teacher of SUPER " OP " course !
Plant based Paramecia could do anything really, especially those large scale Admiral-level demonstrations of power. Just look what Kishimoto did with wood summons.
! [qimg]https://2img.net/h/leitor.dattebane.com/Mangas/Naruto/621/11.png[/qimg]
Although I was more a fan of the early uses, where it just summoned "living" forests everywhere.
Would it be a paramecia or a zoan for you?
I just cant see oda not filling up the logia zoan paramecia.
But I struggle to find mythical zoans with plants? Maybe like an Ent?
-
RE: Greg: Teacher of SUPER " OP " course !
Greg, hi!
A couple pages back you mentioned that you think ryo has a plant based devil fruit.
My question is do you think it is a paramecia or a mythical zoan going along with the logia, paramecia, zoan trio?

RE: European Politics Thread
NATO expanded because Russias's neighbors are and were afraid of it, Russia hasn't developed any soft power since 1991, and has if anything only proven over time to yes, be frightening and dangerous to neighbors.
All of this is moot because Russia's prime fuckery with Ukraine goes back to 2014, where this entire saga was triggered over moves to enter the EU rather than NATO.
Which should tell you everything about what Putin does or does not want Ukraine to be.
I believe it started earlier then that in 2008 when georgia and ukraine issued a joint statement to join Nato.
We all know the background of russian people with siberia etc etc. Do you guys think that the new generation that grew up with social media know the truth and might actually rise against him?
-
RE: European Politics Thread
Realism is a theory whose main assumption is that states behave as single organisms (as opposed to a collection of groups or individuals with competing interests) and always follow their rational self interest.
Mearsheimer is it's primary advocate. In this situation for example his argument is that Russia would not invade Ukraine because it was not in its interest, but that when it did, it was NATO's fault because when the US acted in its interest by expanding NATO, it acted against its interests by not respecting Russian interests.
Or his theory on Iran. It's in everyone's interest for Iran to have a nuclear weapon because Israel has one, so deterrence theory says neither will ever use one, but it's also good that the Iran nuclear deal happened because if they got one America would start a war over it.
His work is filled with internal and intertextual logical inconsistencies. Axioms become conclusions, conclusions become assumptions. Every state is rational, except in my book about the Israel lobby where I lament that the US is not.
Thank you for explaining.
I guess it all comes down to what is more worth to America right? So for them expanding, and having russia war against Ukraine is a risk they were willing to take because of little drawbacks for them if it come to it.

RE: European Politics Thread
Our polls don't really matter as we have an agreement to abide by whatever Finland chooses to do. We are both near the mouth of the beast but their actual teeth are over Finland. As it's been there has been an understanding to not go into war because war will not come to us, but the way things are going if Russia doesn't respect our neutrality and wants to hurt us it is better to be prepared. But like i said it is up to Finland to make the call when enough is enough
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
The Russians will try to slaughter them as much if they have a handgun as if they have a rocket launcher. Put the biggest piece you can give them in their hands and let them decide their own way. Encouraging, discouraging, to me these are none-issues. In the end it's up to the people affected to decide their own way.
Fair enough, I wish Nato would encourage them running away instead of wasting their lives and leaving behind wifes, sisters, daughters and sons.
Mearsheimer is a hack and IR realism is stupid
I don't have a background in politics, care to explain?

RE: European Politics Thread
So, how do you feel about channeling weapons into Ukraine?
Personally, I feel like there is no choice but match strength by strength, and the argument of pacifism feels like an awful idea against an invading army, and that the diplomatic options should have started 8 years ago.
What I’m actually asking is not if there should be weapon shipments, but at this point in time is there a better option with the objective of diminishing suffering? As the politicians and posters only say “there must be a better way” without an alternative.
this is a terrible idea, there is no way they will match up to the russian army, you're just encouraging them to go to their deaths
On a side note, I did not expect the situation to go like this at all.
Some information from within Russia for those who are interested as I'm russian but live abroad. Some friends got letters that they might be called to the army.
Some friends got arrested and fined 10000 rubles for speaking a foreign language in the streets.
A friend of mine had an import business he had built up over 6 years, and bought a house on a mortgage, that's all gone within a day doesn't know how to pay the mortgage.
Some people I know that had money in Euros/Dollars in sanctioned banks literally have their money frozen, more like gone.
Supermarkets are almost empty.
No cash in the atms.
One friend who had to do the military and has a rank of lieutenant has received a letter that he might be called in, he just had a baby 2 months ago.Everyone is bloody terrified, they would like to say something but those who do are taken never to be seen, or at least not in the coming years.
I have never lived in Russia, but lived in France, were the people would strike every other day, I really hope the Russians take a stand and topple this ridiculous gouvernement, however the last 100 years have proven that the Russian is a nation that's been so oppressed by their leaders that they all shake in fear. I'm not sure this is going to go anywhere.
On an other side note I found this incredible Lecture by Professor John Mearsheimer from the University of Chicago which explains the situation(He predicted the war 7 years ago)

RE: European Politics Thread
Welp our policymakers are looking to pledge an additional 3,2 billion dollar to defense expenditures. Guess it's back to the total defense policy of the 80's, thanks Putin. It was nice not living in fear for a while there. And we're not even right next to the Russian army, the Ukrainians must be terrified with this guy for a next door neighbour.

RE: European Politics Thread
Russia recognizing the statelets increases the probability of a military escalation considerably but just as considerably decreases the chances of an actual invasion of Ukraine.
Why?
(Im russian btw)A full blown invasion is very very costly, and should the war actually happen on ukranian soil, someone will have to take the territory under their wing when the conflict is over. But Ukraine is huge, and whilst the population is not super large, it is extremely costly, and I frankly don’t think russia has the finances to mantain it, but I don’t particularly see the EU supporting it either.
So I think once putin completly takes over donbass, where most of the coal mines are(60 billion tons at that), and ukraine runs a mind boggling 50% on coal if not more. Once donbass is taken over the war is ended. Putin controls Ukraine, and Ukraine can’t join NATO. And there we stop.
This is of course my speculation.
Also wanted to add that the crimea stunt was just a distraction for getting to donbass anyways/

RE: Greg: Teacher of SUPER " OP " course !
The following isn't a mean attempt to be facetious. It's to get you to consider what Oda's been doing and how he's done it.
I would agree that the BB pirates don't seem like a threat.
After all, we've only seen them pop up a few times in the story. Imagine if that was real life and these low-level snots just appear out of nowhere as if they actually mattered.
They were nobodies. They had very little backing. Sure, one has a fancy name and was part of a big crew but he's far, far, far outshined by his 'father' figure and former captain.
And then they just all of a sudden show up outta the blue and start taking down a backwater kingdom?
Or turning in an insanely powerful pirate whose 'existence poses a threat to the world' just to get closer to his goal?
And all the cray-cray stuff they do? Like throw away govt. protection/titles by playing with fate?
And before you know it, these backwater pirates are, lolwut, now considered an Emperor Crew???
….any of this sound familiar?
Of course they don't seem like a threat bc Oda has been handling them exactly the same way as he's been handling the Strawhats in the world. The difference is, we have the Strawhat's pov. The same notoriety is following BB's crew, we just don't get that end of it bc Oda doesn't want us to see it yet. Ane frankly, beyone BB, it would be stupid to do otherwise. Fans prove this time and again. Give them someone crazy powerful to look forward to and they will never enjoy what they're currently reading.
Instead, he's threaded hints of how he can later explain how threatening they were. My particular fav is probably how Avalo is likely Kaido's former King. There's stuff in there that, in retrospect, Oda can expand on and show us how threatening they are. The sacrifice here was Jesus. That poor dude... His debut demanded that he be taken down a few pegs. Whether he was holding something back, or whether he received an augmentation since remains to be seen, but make no mistake, that was a calculated fake-out if one's counting on that as a litmus-test of BB's crew.
It's all...part of the plaaaan.
Thank you for the response. I also thought about alvaro being kaidos n1 before, altho the timeline makes it iffy.
Anyways the point I was making is not that blackbeard will not be a great villain, I said that he would even be a great final villain but the story from my point of view is not heading that direction at all. Here are a few points I’d like to make:
1. The WG has been established for 800 (possibly 900 years) henceforth their role in the one piece world is bigger then anyone else connecting them to the great ancient war. While Blackbeard is just a pirate that will come and wither with time.
2. The whole promise or joy boy and the poneglyphs that connects the D clan to the celestial dragon, their sworn enemy as emphasized by the dressrosa arc.
3. The ancient weapons being born at a specific time not connected to Blackbeard.
4. Roger and his crew arriving too soon and not being able to face the WG, again bb was a child at the time.
I could go on but the control the WG has been exerting over the world with stuff like the great cleansing is just much bigger then any single pirate crew, the shs alone couldnt possibly face the WG either so the RE will most likely join them in battle.
I could see the BB pirates take the over the WG as a cheap trick as he does, but I think the feud is more between the D’s and the cestial dragons not D’s against D’s, even whitbeard mentioned that hes not a D that roger is waiting for, meaning there need to be a D that will challenge the entire world.
On top of that the whole “trust” the WG has built around the world, and the whole control of world politics and rejuvination of their older members through bonney is just way bigger then BB.Again I might be wrong, but it seems to me that the whole final ending of the story will be the prophesized boy against an evil ancient government.
Also fun fact, bb was introduced exactly 10 chapters before the WG, chapter 223 compared to chapter 233, maybe simbolising the defeat of the first quickly followed by the 2.
Again time will tell. Thanks for reading.

RE: Greg: Teacher of SUPER " OP " course !
One thing is certain the blackbeard pirates as a whole do not even compare in terms of stakes and strenght and even intimidation as do the 3 admirals the fleet admiral possibly kong, the cp9/cp0 etc.
I mean blackbeard is definitely final villain material but his crew is very far from it.
-
RE: Greg: Teacher of SUPER " OP " course !
Ill add my 2 cents as well just in case.
Due to the nature of the promise of joy boy the void century and the whole ordeal the final war will be against the world government, but as many as you are ready to point out the reverse luffy in blackbeard and importance in the story as the final villain, seeing as his crew definitely do not stack up as final villains he could come back alone in the final war for a final showdown for the world against luffy, good vs evil for when the government is toppled.
-
RE: Greg: Teacher of SUPER " OP " course !
Luffy and yamato will fight of Kaido in the end, at least thats where the story is heading.

RE: Theory: Pirates vs Final Enemy
Anything short of Blackbeard would feel like a betrayal.
I could have accepted the elder stars, but imu is too little too late for me
What if IM is not an active fighter?
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
I still think Imu feels so disjointed and wedged in there because it comes from a time when this story was meant to end in 5 years. But 20+ years of semi-controlled organic growth is hard to undo, and thus you end up with a wedged in legacy character you have to attempt to feel interested in. Should've started building toward Imu a decade earlier if you wanted to win my heart Oder
Its gonna be an other 10 years before he actually comes into play, so there’s time for that, and IM is just an extension of the elder stars which have been highlighted way before, so it’s not really out of the blue.
-
RE: Theory: Pirates vs Final Enemy
Tell that to the people of the world who have been living in relative peace under the WG when blackbeard comes visiting on his victory parade. We've seen that BB is more than happy to set the whole world on fire (simply on a whim) and there's the…..small matter of certain devil fruits giving immortality. Hm. Wonder if the idea of an immortal BB is worse than the WG, huh?
Not like there's anyone left to tell when the earth is in pure chaos after 20 years. What you are saying is very forced and clearly doesn’t have the CD and D relationship, with IM potentially being there since the void century.
-
RE: Theory: Pirates vs Final Enemy
Luffy, as King of the Pirates, can't fight just an Emporer for the final battle. (especially since Luffy will have already dealt with the other three) so BB taking the role as king of the world serves to escalate the ranking.
The idea that Imu who has been in two panels is the final villain still seems really weird compared to the guy that's been built up as the dark mirror causing all the moving and shaking for 22 years now.
But blackbeards life is not really relevant in the greater scheme of things, he will come and he will go as all other pirates, but the wg has been there for 800 years controlling the world, its not even comparable really.
-
RE: Chapter 1,010: Color of the Supreme King
Kaido wont go down now, i believe yamato has a tiger zoan or something of sorts, im sure that dragon vs tiger reference is coming.

RE: American Politics: A Brand New Day
Note that I am not saying that's not blatant propoganda, BUT…
The history taught in public school is pretty much propaganda anyway that heavily whitewashes nearly everything the country did that was actually bad. Be it slavery or started wars or massacres or anything to do with Columbus, and it leaves out all the drinking and the whoring. Things like the trail of tears get a brief footnote, at most, then move on, while Elvis and Marilyn Monroe might get a full chapter to themselves. You don't get to the real stuff until college.
There's a reason the tales are about "George Washington had wooden teeth" and not "George Washington had teeth taken from slaves."
Thats everywhere, i had the chance to study both in italy and france and let me just say they have pretty different histories.

RE: American Politics: A Brand New Day
If Deep State means that the government is working precisely as it's supposed to, with elected officials holding appropriate amounts of power and checking the power of the president, then yes, that is deep state. I don't think that's what it's supposed to mean though.
The President is the leader of the Executive Branch. The legislative branch (Congress) and the Judicial Branch (the courts) should both be as powerful as the executive branch as far as federal governance. You seem to be under the impression that the president should have more power and the other parties should go along with him and her, when the actual goal of our system is that the people are represented, not that the president is appeased. With a president that didn't win the popular vote, strong opposition should be expected and is proof that our system isn't completely dead.
Im just comparing to our politics( or lack there of ) lol, our policts have been really bad.
What wolfwood say kinda sums up what I meant, people like soros have some sort of influence I assume.

RE: American Politics: A Brand New Day
Wouldn't long term serving generals/marines and CEO's of big arms and weapons entrepresies have a little bit of leverage over whats going on in the country, as well as strong opposition leaders like nanci pelosi, wouldn't that really count as deep state as in leverage but without any conspiracy?
Edit: Also would you say that the American agencies are always under full control of the current president?
I'm obviously not talking any secret agenda behind their back lol, or any james bond conspiracy, merely pondering if for example the standing president Issues a request or order that doesn't align with that agency, or if the agency is currently in the midst of an operation that the president doesn't see fit, ( insert snowden example here), how much power does he have over them?
-
RE: Volume 97 Predictions/Discussion
Arthur's translation is wrong. I'll break down the actual Japanese of the first part for anyone who wants to follow along.
はい。やめるっていうか、
I think most of the confusion is probably that it starts with simply saying Hai, which as a lot of non-Japanese readers would still probably recognize as "Yes". While it is true that Hai means Yes it can also be used as sort of a sentence starter as well, so you have to actually keep reading instead of jumping to conclusions! He then goes on to say yameru teiuka, yameru meaning "end" and teiuka being a phrase used to clarify a statement, kind of like "or rather?" or "how should I put it"? So again we should probably examine the next sentence before jumping to conclusions. I think he knew this was a correctional phrase (rather) and added on his own guess as to what it was correcting "rather than wanting it to end".
ルフイの一番面白い部分、One Pieceって何なの?の物語が完結する、終わります。
Here he says that it is the most "interesting" (strangely that is the exact word he uses) part of Luffy's story, "what is One Piece?" will conclude. He then adds a comma and "owarimasu", to further clarify that the mystery of One Piece will be concluded. While the phrase Monogatari, which means, story is used it is used immediately after "of what One Piece is" (Japanese grammar is kind of the reverse of English grammar). In other words he is saying the mystery of what One Piece is will be concluded. He does not say that the manga will be concluded and that's not because Japanese is indirect, he could directly say that if he wanted to. He choose to specify that the mystery of what One Piece is will be concluded within five years. And then moved on to hyping up the final arc, which I can break down if people want but the first posted translation is correct so not much point to really.
Whats your personal interpretation?

**QAnon[a] (/kjuːəˈnɒn/) is a far-right conspiracy theory[2][3][4][5][6][7] alleging that a cabal of Satan-worshiping pedophiles running a global child sex-trafficking ring is plotting against President Donald Trump, who is battling them,[8] leading to a "day of reckoning" involving the mass arrest of journalists and politicians.[9] No part of the theory is based on fact
Lol is this actually a thing?** @Demon:
Oh god its "Deep State" bullshit.
The "Deep State" is not a real thing, at least not in this not in this country.
It's a Bullshit conspiracy theory that Trump and his supporters use to justify why he's so bad at his job.
"You don't understand! Trump isn't incompetent, the Deep State is just undermining him" or "He said that incredibly stupid thing to throw the Deep State off!"
It's also extremely racist of course because when you start asking who runs the "Deep State" the answer inevitably boils down to "The Jews"
Just finished reading, I mean you obviously make a lot of sense, bizzare then it would come from such a renown person, but I guess anybody can raise in politics.

RE: American Politics: A Brand New Day
I translated the first 20 minutes roughly of the interview, was good to translate and not do numbers for once, I apologize but it seems I got all that Giulietto said quite wrong, I outlined below first the question and then the answer, if someone is bothered to read it a bit, especially if he's American Would be good to know how close this is to the truth? What do you think?
! M: I would start off if that’s ok with a question about the American deep state, the relationship between deep state and the “state”, Is that a theme that interest you? did you research in depth? And about Trump and the current situation with Trump, what are your views?
! G: Not only is the question about the deep state extremely important but its fundamental to understand what’s going on and what will happen, because it’s a question that reveals how America is no longer America, us till now we are used to the terminology of Russia, America, China. About Russia and China the matter is to be talked separately, but one thing is evident, it’s that America is in the middle of a full on internal political clash that essentially divided the country. It’s a divided country. There are some very deep splits inside the elite that guided the country for more than 200 years, the country’s split, and this split is strategical, it’s not a joke and it’s not a problem that pertains this or that person, it concerns a rupture of the mechanism that kept held in place the American institution since its foundation up until now. So to understand this matter its fundamental, otherwise every time we will think that when the Americans say “America”, that’s not true anymore, because every decision, and I will talk about it more in depth answering the second question, every movement of Donald Trump it’s not explained in any other way that in the political clash that he’s facing every minute against his opposition.
! So who are his opponents, it’s difficult to explain it well but it’s clearly visible, let’s say his opponents are the Democratic party, all of which once upon a time were called the liberal left, I clearly outline the liberal left, because the democratic party has always been considered by us Europeans as the left, contraposed to the right. The Imperial and capitalist industrial military sector which was represented by the Republican Party. Now the situation is no longer as such, the lineup completely changed, why? Because Trump entered the field and ruptured the American Establishment, literally he broke it in half, and he made arise, now I’m not saying for the good or for the bad, I’m just describing, then everybody faces the problem how they see fit, but I’m merely describing what happened, to some extent, actually in a very precise extent, Donald Trump came in a broke the American establishment and created the conditions that allowed a new America that we didn’t know to emerge.
! We didn’t know this America, we knew about an America that was not progressive at all, a quite obscure America, a primitive America, I don’t know how to explain it well, to me what comes to mind its Texas, guns, that kind of America that created its entrepreneurial strength through an explicit violent management of the political clashes, in that sense, I’m talking about the history of the 20th century. In America a true leftist party never came to be, a worker’s party, no, because the working class was subjugated directly and immediately with extreme violence, the concept of a trade union in America does not really exist to the extent that we have (Italy), it’s a kind of corporation which immediately connected itself to the mafia, with criminal organizations. You just need to go and see the last movie; I think an important movie, Scorsese’s new movie, The Irishman. The Irishman is a piece of American History, and if one pays attention to the movie he can clearly see how quickly the left was liquidated in America, even before it was given a chance to be born, the working class in America was huge, but was immediately hegemonized by the “groups” that were in charge through an operation that was explicitly violent, the use of the mafia, I mean Kennedy’s assassination was done by the mafia, hehe, I think it’s quite evident.
! So you can imagine if they can occupy a piece of the CIA, a piece of the FBI, a relevant part of the state department and more relevantly some of the pentagon, well this is the power, the power of the elites, now Trump arrives on the scene and says, this America, I will describe it a bit better later in detail, this America that is before me is an America, I mean it’s not an America of the Americans, it’s an America of the elites that built its imperial state through finance, and so finance has become the dominant force of the American politics during the whole Clinton, Bush 1, Bush 2, Obama 1, Obama 2 phase. This is the curve, which also highlights the end of an America as polo manufacturer and producer of material goods, and the beginning of an America that essentially became a producer of money through money, to put it briefly. They took the world finance and put it under their control, and through world finance and their power that’s tied to their monopoly of the dollar and started dictating laws to the whole world, to Europe, to Africa, to Asia, even Russia for a certain period, Russia was colonized since 1989 until the arrival of Putin, grosso modo 10 years, Even Russia itself became a colony of the United States of America, or better of the American finance. So this is the first component: Finance.
! The second component is the Silicon Valley, Silicon Valley and thus Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Yahoo, Twitter, all of that which is dominating world communication, it became an other incredibly power instrument, which is part of the deep state, from a certain point of view we can consider it the modern, progressive, technological America. But in reality this modern, progressive and technological part intertwined itself very closely with its secret services, let’s speak openly here, Facebook it’s a product of the CIA, of the NSA, those became the instruments of control, and thus here is a picture of America before Trump. The big alliance between the lawyers of lobbyists of the finance of Wall Street, add more, Silicon Valley, and all these businesses of communication you add in Secret Services and you get the deep State.
! This deep state allied itself with other international organizations, in particular with the Bank of England and Great Britain as a whole, and tried to imprint, actually let me correct that, managed to successfully imprint the world globalization with the American market. The world globalization it’s us. We are exclusive, we are a special country, we have rights over everyone else, it looks like I’m exaggerating, but when you really pay close attention to their actions this is what they really believe, for example they recently declared that the cosmic space is American, they openly declared it, they went so far that in Wall Street they are beginning to sell lunar lots, to be able to go for future explorations, and the Americans are already selling lunar territory as if they were the owners of the Moon. Some would say this is madness but it’s really their way of thinking. Now why do I look at this reality with big concern, because these gentlemen have the idea that, this elite, the deep state, have the idea that because America dominated the whole 20th century, they have to dominate forever, they have to dominate the 21st century, and instead we have a different reality, apart from the Coronavirus that arrived but it’s partly connected, we have a reality that says that the world is no longer that of the 20th century, and America can say whatever it wants, but a colossus like China emerged and its developing quicker then America, and which is occupying two third of the global trade, America itself has to basically buy everything from China, or rather has DECIDED to purchase everything from China at a low cost and at this point is currently no longer the dominator, it’s dollar does no longer occupy the whole of global trade, and not for naught its emerging quicker and quicker the idea that the dollar can no longer hold the entirety of the global trade and it will be necessary to create a new basket of currencies.
! But the basket in which lies the worlds monetary fund is in dollars, it’s a board of directors where America, has the absolute majority stake. But in our current world, this situation is no longer sustainable because the weight of China, let’s leave Russia aside, Russia for other reasons is important but not for economic reasons. Russia is important because of it’s a strategic powerful nuclear power. China does not have this military might but has an overflowing economic power. The Chinese bond market, let’s call it as such, it’s today of 13 trillion dollars. Their weight, their economical weigh and its importance is enormous, as such we have seen recently in the moment that Covid started, and China had to stop, the whole global market stopped as well, all of it derailed from its tracks. Just think about what’s currently happening with the price of Oil, the whole global economy blocked, and the demand of energy collapses, it affects Russia, Iran, and United States. And out of nowhere the price of petrol plummets, to an astounding 10, 6, 8 dollars a barrel. It’s a planetary catastrophe, because oil was the center of the power of the world, I mean oil and the dollar were the absolute nucleus of the worlds power, all of the energy passed through the dollar, and suddenly out of nowhere this market crumbles, today crumbled, yesterday crumbled, I don’t even know what going to happen in the future, because before there can be a recovery we will need time, and all of this will be blocked, all stopped, there’s so much oil currently that they don’t even know where to store it anymore, in fact Russia, Saudi Arabia and America had to come down to an agreement because otherwise where do you stock all of the oil? There’s literally no place of where to store it and thus you can imagine, all of the transport, all of the hundreds of oil tankers that moved around the world are stuck, all of the shipping companies are blocked, the ports, a vast majority of those humongous ports that were used for energy are blocked. We are in front of a colossal upheaval.
! I’ll come back to the starting point, why has Trump under certain aspects a certain threat, because he said in that context America is no longer a producer of goods, doesn’t export anything anymore, we only export dollars (I lold in real life), but we also become very weak exporting only dollars, so what did he do, he did a quantitative easing (QE), started producing dollars out of nowhere and thus basically upholds the whole global economy, but this is also an illusion, and so he says, we need to come back to be a manufacturing country, the Americans need to produce and manufacture tangible goods, and become yet again exporters of these very same goods, this will be a healing of sorts, in this way he, I’ll simplify it now, he positioned himself against the whole economic and financial structure of Wall Street, against the federal reserve, and said from now on, it will be the state that will decide the financial trend of the American state and not otherwise, this naturally enraged the previous power and so Donald Trump, who are the visible enemies of Donald Trump? It’s the New York Times, the Washington Post; all of the newspapers of the establishment are against him and so obviously against him also deployed themselves Google, Facebook, the big structures that are closely intertwined with the safety and control systems: the NSA, CIA, FBI, the secret structures of the country which control or try to control the people, the people of the world, first and foremost of the Americans themselves, and after that even our own because we are one of their colonies, This is more or less the answer, so we should start to analyze from now on keeping a close eye on the clash that’s currently happening in the US, which is not a political clash where there are the good and the bad, because it’s not like Donald Trump is nice, Donald Trump uphelds the interests of a piece of the America that I tried to now describe, an America that want to go back to being Dominant but not with finance which makes her weak, but with material manufacturing and production, with export, with a raise of globalization of America but completely different from what it was this past 30 years. Let’s see if he manages or not, if he does he’ll be reelected otherwise we’ll see. -
RE: American Politics: A Brand New Day
He's accepting bribes from dictators and doing whatever is best for Russia. And the dictators know how to sweet talk him and get everything they want. There's a big difference.
He gave North Korea everything they wanted, including photo ops and approval to continue their nuclear program, and got literally nothing in return.
He said the Soviet Union was right to invade Afghanistan and congratulated China on the 70th anniversary of the Communist takeover.
He invited the Taliban to Camp David.
He gave Turkey a green light to invade Syria and attack our Kurdish allies. His intentions are entirely to line his pockets and stay out of jail. He cares only about himself, no one else.
He brags about how 9/11 made his building the tallest in the world.
He's let 200,000 people die of covid because he doesn't want to take responsibility for it. ANY proper action on his part could have saved 90% of those people. He's STILL lying about the numbers.
He says global warming is a hoax and refuses to take any action on it.
He denies aid during crises to states that voted against him, like Puerto Rico after a hurricane or California during a fire.
He puts children in cages. And has women forcibly sterilized, apparently.
He's abandoned allies and treaties we've had for 250 years, including Canada! to side with Russia and North Korea.
He says racists are great and encourages literal Nazi rallies.
He spends millions of taxpayer dollars on golf trips.
Whenever he takes trips anywhere, he stays on his properties and makes the secret service pay for rooms.
He censors the media.
He uses anti-Semitic tropes to attack his enemies.
He gave tax breaks to billionaires and charges more to the poor.
He's destroying the post office to supress mail in votes.
He's destroying medical care and social security during a pandemic.
He's authorizing police officers to attack peaceful protestors with tear gas and force.
He shut down the government for over a month over a fight on his border wall.
He's removing environmental regulations and allowing drilling on national parks.
He's removed food regulations so we can get tainted meat.
He's got dozens of cases of rape charges and pediphilia piled against him and he's using government lawyers to fight personal cases.
He bribes porn stars with hush money.
Unemployment and markets are worse than they were in the great depression. It goes on and on and on. ANd that's before you get to all the blatantly illegal crimes.
Here's a short list you can check out. It's only 889 entries long so far, its missing a lot.
https://www.mcsweeneys.net/articles/the-complete-listing-so-far-atrocities-1-889That's pretty bad, can't argue that. I still would like to share some of that interview with you to get your opinion.
@ Demon Rin, my post was quite immature, I apologize for that.

RE: American Politics: A Brand New Day
I have a question for you Americans.
(I am no journalist or writer so please forgive both my English and my sentence structuring)
So first and foremost, no need to attack me, all the information I am going to provide below obviously stems from what I read online and from the general Idea I got from Trump with online information, Im an Italian living in London for many years so obviously I don’t get first hand information, but to me Trump is quite a decent president in quite a couple of terms, here’s why:
He’s been actively withdrawing troops from active war zones, and actively attempting peace treaties with North Korea and also brokeraged peace between Israel and Arab countries, he indirectly continued the Syrian War but lost to Russia, altho both countries retain military bases within the country, also maybe didn’t provide much help to Yemen against its neighbours and actively challenged Iran. Also tried to peace it out with the Russians but the democrats didn’t let him have much of that.
I know he dropped a LOT of bombs and MOB as well but at least settled that for good.
I’m gonna aknowledge that I don’t much know about his foreign policies on war and his active involvement in said wars, so if I’m saying bullshit or outright got things wrong please do correct me, but it looks to ME that he actively tried to achieve more peace than any of his predecessors.
NOW, lets get to an area I know a little more about and I’m gonna highlight why I for one have respect and a lot of my friends in London both UK and European alike admire him.
As you well know America moved from a country of producing goods, from the likes of mass scale manufacturers like ford, to an exporting country, a country of outsourcing all products to cheaper destinations, eg: China, Bangladesh you name it obviously depending on the type of goods they wanted to outsource and be produced, completely bypassing the average American workers.
Giving space to mass companies of outsourcing goods like Apple.
On top of that add the advent of the internet, and here things really take a turn, Facebook, Instagram, whatever, those companies with the advent of the internet became extremely big but without ever providing tangible goods to the American people.
A lot of the Central American states end up with people that have both low access to education thus never able to take part in those incredible companies arising and simultaneously being left with completely saturated markets like agriculture. From What I’ve gathered, Trump went completely against the system and out completely of the blue, slashing import taxes and wage economical war against those very countries that the Americans have been using for years, why do you think he’s painted in such a bad light?
I feel that much of his votes come from people of the lower class, people that have been robbed of work by a greedier and greedier America that relies on overseas to Maximise their profits, and people that cannot comply to this new America because they are simply not given such opportunity. And the very people waging war against him are the Democrats that take advantage of those very people Trump is trying to stand for. Trump is making America, America again, he may have a lot of flaws but his intentions are good, and watch him win the second election, because the people I’m talking about are not happy, and they cannot voice it out loud through television or online platforms.I can go on for much longer but I think the way I write already makes little sense, the country is yours and vote for whoever you want.
He has a lot of flaws but he’s definitely not the worse.
PLEASE correct me on where I’m wrong, I’d like to know more for people that first hand live in his political term, it’s just that for me I feel that a lot of dirt has been put on him, and sometimes for the right reasons, but he’s also done a fair share of good, which coincidentally people always fail to bring to light.
Extra:
Most of the information I complied here has come from Giulietto Chiesa: Giulietto Chiesa was an Italian journalist, author, lecturer and politician. He was Vice-President of the European Parliament's Committee on International Trade and member of two Extraordinary Committees inside the European Parliament: the Extraordinary Renditions Committee and the Climate Change Committee.Unfortunately he died this year, but he was definitely someone that knew what he was talking about, if you're even more interested this is the video in question where I gathered much of the info, you can put the english subtitles to understand:
Edit: youtube does not do a good job at translating, if some of you are interested I can translate a lot of the conversation and post it here if you want, word for word.

RE: Volume 97 Predictions/Discussion
@All:
Oh, no. Hopefully it won't affect his art that much further down the line. OP's art quality as of late is already not what I would call astounding, at least compared to pre time-skip.
are you joking? did u see the onigashima panel recently? lol

RE: Who is the final villain 3.0
Considering Oda is already trying out having two major big baddies in the same arc, it seems pretty clear that both Blackbeard and the WG will be part of the final war, if we're meant to escalate things from Wano. And they both need to be defeated by the SHs because that's what's been built up. Who goes down 5 chapters before the other doesn't matter that much at that point imo.
How can that take place simultaneously? It feels so out of place?

RE: Who is the final villain 3.0
Okay that was a dick move from me to post that after your mini-novel. It's just that from my perspective, Blackbeard is the obvious and more entertaining choice.
But it could just as well be Imu! I mean, why not. She (?) has that (kinda boring, maybe, we'll see) ultimate evil vibe going on.
…I hope the real answer is Gaimou and Laugh Tale is somehow the Island of Rare Animals. Roger just couldn't help but laugh when he saw that fucked up snake.
You're not getting it, whereas blackbeard is certainly a more interesting character, imu appears to be the bland end villain kaguya, ywatch type, no build up just dropped on us.
I would agree that its similar to that, however you're missing the embodiment that those 2 figures represent, one is an anti/hero villain with loads of similarities to the main character
Imu literally embodies the WG oppression on the OP world for over 800 years, like literally Blackbeard doesn't even come close in relevance for the op world, Blackbeard came around maybe 40 years ago and will go be gone as soon, whereas IM has been around and will stay forever if not deal with.
I just cant even begin to picture how can Blackbeard have a bigger relevance then the WG, and there will obviously loads of development done on Im in the future.
Honestly If blackbeard does end up being the final villain, that would mean that he would rise as a threat after the WG is defeated, literally underwhelming the whole narrative and oppression, on W7, Dressorsa, Amazon lilly, and so many more arcs, the WG and by extent Im are so much more connected to the world then blackbeard ever will.
There's frankly no chance of Blackbeard being the final villain, but ill gladly keep discussing it until said reveal is made.

RE: Volume 97 Predictions/Discussion
Kaze is Wind. It's because the village is in the Wind Country.
I just checked on google i was slightly off, Jumping monkey and wind shadow, nothing to do with naruto anyways.
BTW:
regarding zoro and mihawk, i would really really get annoyed if their fight didn't happen, or at least a skirmish, since its been hyped for god knows, 20 years, just for a character that has barely appeared to take the spotlight.
On top of that, I really wouldn't mind if world strongest swordsman zoro would get challenged for his title rather quickly by Shiryuu? I'd love it honestly.
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Sarutobi over there is a reference to Sarutobi Sasuke one of the most famous ninjas in Japanese folklore.
I just quickly read his story on wiki, Am I discovering the japanese tarzan? this is amazing hahah
-
RE: Volume 97 Predictions/Discussion
Isn't that a motherf*** Naruto reference?
And with this we have 5 of the 7 Lucky Gods being referenced in One Piece.
saru means monkey if im correct, not sure what tobi means, probably something to do with tobis ability in naruto, maybe vanishing monkey? would fit since hes a ninja
and i know kage means shadow, i think kaze means sand right? since its the sand village, so sandshadow.
