Just finished the Anime and might get into the Manga - where should I start? Can I jump right in where the Anime stopped (assuming they followed the Manga that closely) or should I start from the beginning?

A mediocre ending to a mediocre manga, kinda fits I guess. I don't mind all the pairings, I lost all investment in the side-characters anyway. I'm more bothered by how every child is either a clone of a parent or has one parents face with the others hair plastered on them. That's not how genetics work.

I'm more moved by this thread coming to an end than by the actual Mangas ending, that says a ton. Thanks to everyone here who gave reading Naruto at least some kind of purpose, if only it was to see how people ridicule it!

I'm with TLC on this one, just not as intensely. I still could enjoy the episode, however silly it was.

! I don't like that child character though, but that's just me. I never like the cheeky kids in stories. Plus she didn't do anything noteworthy so there wasn't much of a point to her.
Did anybody else think that this "voting"-method was not only incredibly dumb, impossible and cheesy, but also inaccurate? You can't see the "whole world" from the moon, so only those who just had nighttime got a vote.
I didn't realize the abortion-parallel, but that's because I rarely think about stuff while I'm watching it, and afterwards everything was overshadowed by that… dragon-butterfly instantly laying an egg bigger as itself... without getting nourishment... after it just hatched... ugh.
It's a shame they didn't blow it up, the baby appearing in paradise squashing Missy and her oh-so-mysterious over-arc (is that the right word for that?) would have been worth the moral ambiguity.

I love it when movie Germans speak with such a thick fake accent that I as a native German fluent in English have no idea what they're saying.
Liked the episode, pretty much agree with all points that Gizmo has made.

Can someone explain the thing the "woman in a shop"-thing? My memories of all the New-Who episodes are fuzzy and I know little to nothing about the Old-Who, so I don't whats this all about.

This manga keeps surprising me, I really have to give it credit for that. Not many pieces of fiction can do that nowadays.

! Every time I thought Lubo wouldn't make it he pulled some crazy tricks and made it out - the one time where I thought he'd accomplish more he gets cut in half mercilessly.

Didn't much care for this weeks episode, but I know they like to keep the penultimate episodes low-budget to go all out in the finale - so I don't mind much.
Still, might be one of the weakest Dandy episode, no strong gags, no action,

! High points for me were the jury bantering, the touching background for the victims wife & the victim himself actually being alive in the whole time

Looks like the next week is the series finale, I'll miss it. Hope they'll go out with a bang…

Guys, I figured it what was under the bed!

! This is the first episode of this season that didn't have a Game of Thrones actor in it (who instantly died). So it clearly was Peter Dinklage under the sheets, who then tripped and fell down the stairs. Mystery solved.

Seeing so many cloned Final Smashes and old characters getting no love (Ganondorf is still a swordless clone?!) makes me lose interest in this game rapidly.
Villagers Final Smash is adorable though.

I've no access to a 3DS or people who have the game - All I really care about is whether Jigglypuffs and Ganondorfs Movesets have been changed. Any infos?

I quite liked the episode. Jokes and story worked rather well.

Only weird part was Clara falling into that muddy lake and waking up clean & perfectly styled with not a hair out of place. What, did Robin redo her Make-Up while she was out?

! Are they making a habit of having Game of Thrones actors on the show and immediately kill them off? Ep 1 had Dontos, Ep 2 Dolorous Edd and this one Mace Tyrell, and they all went as villain hype-up. Makes me worried for Charles Dances character…

My thoughts (including spoilers for all endings):

! It basically cuts before the mother dies and lacks the Robin-ending, overall rather cheesy & simple. But I still liked it more than the original one since this way the story is what the story claims to be, the story on how Ted met the kids mother. Not how Ted met their mother who then died so after the appropriate amount of time he can go after Robin. If they went with this ending, Robin and Barney could've stayed together as well, so this ending is much, much more positive and happier.
Personally I'd have preferred this ending + the mother dying. She being dead gave the story some weight and it made sense that Ted would tell the kids the whole thing.

And here I felt bad for just skimming over the flashback. Sounds like I didn't miss anything great.
Hopefully I'll get through the main story from now just fine without knowing all details.

…all I really care about is whether Jigglypuff is back or not.

You know that feeling when you see something weird and confusing but you can tell its the most awesome thing ever, yet can't fully grasp it? Adventure Time often gives me that feeling, but never so much than this episode (Food Chain).

Aww, people want Ramsay dead? He's like the most entertaining character at the moment, excluding Tyrion.

So, TWGOK is about to end with the next chapter. Anybody else completely lost track of what was going on in this final arc and couldn't tell whether they made progress or not? I sure did.
I'm a bit disappointed, I loved the early & middle arcs and the comedy of this Manga, but ever since the focus shifted from comedy to the whole hell conspiracy stuff and time travel shenanigans, I lost interest.

I've long stopped trying to figure out what's going on in Naruto, but I'm psyched to see Gai going all out nevertheless!

I think the next chapter should empathize a bit how much Naruto has grown and how big of a hard-on every single character has for him at this point. The message didn't really came through the last 3 chapters.

The double spread after the fight was amazing, couldn't stop laughing even though there were no real jokes in there.
I wonder which route the finale will take, either mob-ichi calls out the weakest pillar and gets one-shotted or he actually gets Behemoth himself and the fight will get serious.

! Well they got Gordon-Levitt now. In the movie, Robin more or less inherited the bat cave and all the equipment, so he could the next batman. So I guess he could be batman in a Justice League film.

Reborn can't fight. He's already expended all the time on his "Present". The only one that can is Bermuda now, and that's because Skull only used 30 seconds of his present, so there's 2:30 left on the watch. Unless Bermuda take it automatically resets it to the full 3 minutes.

Sure, I get the allegory of humans being cruel to animals, but it's hard to feel for them after being portrayed like that, especially if there has been only one nice alien out of thousands sadistic killers.

! maybe I should have reread the entire thing again, but like this the end felt kind of… empty? I wasn't really emotionally invested at all. All the stories were fine as they were, but I would have wanted to see at least small parts. Maybe 2-3 pages for the most important events instead of that pointless Yue chapter last week. Like the actual reunion of Negi and Nagi. Or the love climax of Kotaruo and Natsumi... not boob jokes ._.
And did I miss something between the lines or did we not find out who Negi ended up with? Or are we supposed to think he chose Asuna because he was in her summary panel? Then Ayaka with fate ...?:wassat:
Is someone else disappointed in the lack of Chamo in the end of Negima? He basically was just on one panel per chapter, no point nor dialogue... though he was the funniest character next to Rakan and Chisame.
I guess it's impossible to please everyone, overall a decent ending :happy:
oh well, one of my favorite mangas ended. One thing less to look forward each week

History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi. It lacks. The fantasy world cross over but besides that it fits the bill…and the martial arts world is so exaggerated that it might have some of the elements that you are looking for.

Thanks, but I've already read Mar, I didn't like it to be honest. It just felt way to shallow, characters were pretty boring and stereotypical. Plus the ending was way to happy, there was nothing dramatical or epic to it. Some of the villain designs and the idea with the fantasy weapon were good though.

Can somone recommend me a Manga/Anime? I'm looking for one with an easy-going atmosphere and lots of humor, but still with a deep story and interesting characters. Preferably one that mixes Fantasy-Elements and the real world, romance and such are welcome.
In short, something like Negima, Beelzebub or The World god only knows ^^

than the martial arts tournament made it interesting.

than negi and his group plan on an all out attack on chao just to get sent to about a week later from the final day of the festival. Having the students fight against the teachers.

Negi and co go back to the final day using the world trees power an establish an army with the students using a game as a camouflage.

and i'm not even done reading this arc…THIS IS FUCKING AWESOME!

I'll kinda have to buy him, since my rl-nickname is tree, he fits me quite well^^ looks promising nethertheless. Especially his minions and his nasty flash/stun-skill. Guess Ill buy him with rp, 6300 will take too much time to save since im building my rune-sets right now^^
