I read it somewhere that Kaido has eaten typhon mythical zoan devil fruit and I agree.
I think it would be a very cool ability

RE: Chapter 778: Tactics No.5
luffy was weaker than lucci. thats why he thought of a way to beat him by using gear second and third
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
and by the way its obvious that this arc was not supposed to show the straw hats full strength...
I mean half of them are not even here!!!!!! -
RE: Chapter 778: Tactics No.5
Doflamingo and his crew have been hyped up this entire arc. The fight with Doflamingo had better be epic.
yep but this arc and punk hazard are just a prelude for kaidou's arc.
after defeating doflamingo, the story would not end. it would be just the beginning.
they have to face kaidou's wrath soon and they need to be powerful enough to defeat them.
doflamingo was not powerful enough so he tricked them by newspaper misinformation. in my opinion it just shows that he knew he wouldn't stand a chance against kaidou.
but the straw hats need to be powerful enough… otherwise kaidou will wipe them out!!! -
RE: Chapter 778: Tactics No.5
I think its obvious why Zoro won the fight without a scratch.
because Oda wanted to show Zoro's overwhelming power after time skip. he is yet to show his true strength since the main fight for the straw hats will be with Kaido and his crew.
if zoro could hardly win the fight against Picca, there is no way he could win the fight against a younko's crew.
the real fights are with Kaidou's crew!! -
RE: One Piece 722: The Royal Bloodline
what if arabasta faked its alliance and only joined to create the world government as an imposter just to have a chance to protect Poneglyph and Pluton?
because perhaps otherwise they would have to leave their country and a new family chosen by world government would have replaced them.
Arabasta must have been allied with AK… I can't see any other reason for them trying to protect Poneglyph generation after generation!!! -
RE: Theories That Don't Deserve Their Own Thread v.2
I was rereading SA the other day and something that Kizaru said to Rayleigh kind of stuck in my mind.
Essentially he said that they would love to catch The Dark King but it would take more dedication than they had at the moment.
Due to Jinbei's statements about sakazuki waiting to move, and amassing his forces, I think that Rayleigh is going to finally be caught at some point in the future, and executed.
It would fit with Sakazuki's zealous nature, and would be another major blow to Luffy, having already lost his beloved brother to Akainu, he would have lost his mentor as well.
Then again nothing of the sort might happen but I don't think it's the wildest theory ever.
but it would be like repeating the whole Ace thing again…
if he gets caught at some point in the future, then luffy will surely try to save him from execution.
I don't think Oda would rewrite the same story again!! -

RE: [Theory] The Inherited Will, "One Piece"
I've been thinking, the ancient civilization that Dr Clover talked about, the people that made the poneglyphs. Is it possible that country was in Raftel?
I always thought that Raftel was probably a remaining part of the AK.
so, in my opinion,it's plausible.accordion to Clover Hakase:
"…but what holds the key of solving everything is the name of that once flourishing country...."and just before he utters the name of that country, Gorosei ordered Him to be shot.
that's why I always thought that perhaps somehow we knew the name of that country... -
RE: [Theory] The Inherited Will, "One Piece"
Rayleigh said that after Roger had become the Pirate King there was a margin of a year or so before he turned himself in.
so we reach to this conclusion that it was impossible for Ace to be conceived before Roger had reached Raftel.
so He Finds one piece
then disbands the crew
and goes to Baterilla which is in South Blue.
and then turns himself in. -
RE: [Theory] The Inherited Will, "One Piece"
In my humble opinion, the illness only takes a partial account to Roger stopping.
I agree…
From my math Ace was conceived before Roger reached Raftel and during his last adventure.
Ace was born 1 year and 3 month after his father death.(15 month)
and it is said that Ace was in his mother's womb for 20 month.
there is five month from when Ace was conceived till Roger's death.
hmm…it's possible...
but I still don't wanna think that Roger reached Raftel after Ace was conceived and found One Piece only 5 month before his death!!!! (or even less than 5 month)!!! -

RE: Next Strawhat Crewmate (Vol. 6)
You know, I love when I tried to explain something without cursing or calling people by names but some people are just to stupid to understand reason that you have to make them look like morons in order for them to understand.
you are being awfully rude now.
it's easy to resort to offensives when one is cornered and cannot answer properly…
I was just trying to have a fun conversation with a fellow fan ( now I'm really disappointed...it's a shame that I have to share the title such as one piece fan with likes of you)I get what you are saying... let me paraphrase it for you... you're actually saying if I can answer a question in a debate ,I'll be fine... but if challenged and failed to find an answer I would start cursing or swearing to the debater to make my point.
such a scene observed too often in elementary schools!
but remember this is no kindergarten...and you are not a child...grow up faster.I was hoping after reading one piece you could at least learn how to tolerate people's opinion.
there is a difference between calling an idea idiotic or the person who states that. and it's called civility.
shame. -
RE: Next Strawhat Crewmate (Vol. 6)
You used Opwiki to claim some positions that you should know by fact and have seen the characters do it throughout the serie
Ie: Usopp main position Sniper and everything related to shooting 2nd position: Botanist
Zoro main position swordsman 2nd position: vice captain
Robin main position Archaeologist 2nd position fighter (It shouldn't be considered a position since every character is a fighter)I knew it by watching.
I already said that Ussop is sniper and Zoro is a swordsman… but Schabrak somehow tried to correct me…
I just thought that maybe he/she needed some kind of source.(what did you think with yourself? that after reading 721 chapter, I don't know that Zoro is the Swordsman of the crew and needed to check it up!!!!!!!! seriously?????????????)
please do yourself this kindness...Don't assume things without the knowledge of it... :)))))))))))))))))
I can't stop laughing :)))))))))))

RE: Next Strawhat Crewmate (Vol. 6)
Ussop is a cannoneer, Zoro is the first mate, what is a shield supposed to be?
http://onepiece.wikia.com/wiki/Monkey_D._Luffy
http://onepiece.wikia.com/wiki/Roronoa_Zoro
http://onepiece.wikia.com/wiki/Usopp
look at the occupation part below the pictures
I put Luffy's first as an example before Zoro and Ussop.Ah, I forgot…and Robin is the archeologist of the crew
-
RE: Next Strawhat Crewmate (Vol. 6)
if a crew can have a position like swordsman or sniper… it can have a position like shield...
not that it is necessary to have this position for sailing...but there can be such position
Luffy said that he wants 10 Nakama... there is still 2 place in the crew that should be filled.
one belongs to jinbei.
the other one should be someone with a position that we already didn't have...
and a shield is something that came to my mind...
if there there is another position that the crew needs that they don't have already, feel free to say it.
I'm interested, and would be delighted to hear about it -
RE: Next Strawhat Crewmate (Vol. 6)
I'm just saying that there is an empty space for a shield in the crew and I would be happy if it was filled by Barto since he is one of my favorite characters in this arc…
I know that the crew is strong and they can very well defend themselves against foes but it's a fact that there is no one with the position of a shield.... an absolute shield...let me put it in this way...
zoro is the swordman in the crew.
Brook is also a swordman... but his position in the crew is not that (he is the musician), because zoro is on an entirely different level than brook...I'm saying that Barto's shield is really something else!!!
..............
p.s.Do I look like I'm screaming? :))))
-
RE: Next Strawhat Crewmate (Vol. 6)
So you're saying that they're pro at the offense but amateur on the defense , that statement won't hold his ground on this thread
I don't say they are amateur!!!!!
but they can't be considered shield!!!!
you see…you can never say zoro is the shield in the crew... -
RE: Next Strawhat Crewmate (Vol. 6)
Point Guard … (though it's not a shield...)
Gomu Gomu no Fusen... General Shield !?they are not at all on par with Barto's Shield that can defend against something like king's punch… you can't possibly compare them!!!
he is like an absolute defense -
RE: [Theory] The Inherited Will, "One Piece"
@Monkey:
Destroying nature when it's inconvenient is a really bad idea.
Economies would collapse on many islands, the climates created by that strange weather would go away causing massive environmental havoc on places like Drum, Little Garden and Alabasta.
Also the adventurous frontier world of the Grand Line seen as a wonderland by our main friggin' character would be destroyed.what you are saying is not illogical at all.
but I still think that the task that should be accomplished in the end is about destroying RV & MJ.
I'm sure we don't know the whole story about the AK yet.
perhaps there are reasons for it we are not aware of!!!
there should be something that made WG attempting for genocide… -
RE: Next Strawhat Crewmate (Vol. 6)
How many shields do you want?
who's the other shield?
they are all expert at attacking…not defending!!!
not that they can't defend...but they are more combat type. -
RE: [Theory] The Inherited Will, "One Piece"
@Monkey:
The Red Line has only been displayed to block people at the mountainous areas around the Grand Line.
Both of which have methods of crossing. Reverse Mountain has the canals.
And Mariejois side has some method of crossing as well, plus the Fishman Island tunnel. So this just brings things back to my original point. That there are already ways to cross. The real problem is the monopoly on them.
and there can't be a normal navigation…
what if by destroying RM and MJ, the Grandline would become normal?
I know that it would be somehow boring... but I can assure you 80% of the population would appreciate that... -
RE: [Theory] The Inherited Will, "One Piece"
it was meant as a joke :))))))))))))))
….........when we are talking about a mountain, making a tunnel is enough... but in a larger scale, when we are talking about the Red line(which is so big that can be considered a continent) Reverse Mountain can be considered a tunnel
-
RE: [Theory] The Inherited Will, "One Piece"
@Monkey:
But we're discussing BLOWING UP the mountain.
and sometimes even eradicate the mountain
I agree with just destroying Reverse mountain and Marijoa, not the whole redline.
I don't see any other reason for luffy to destroy fish man island…
-
RE: [Theory] The Inherited Will, "One Piece"
@Monkey:
Except we're talking about natural landforms.
I know.. but even if natural landforms suppress our way, we overcome them…
for example if a mountain suppress our way, we make a tunnel.
-
RE: Next Strawhat Crewmate (Vol. 6)
I know Barto is kind of a bad guy
but he will have a position we didn't have…he can be the shield...He is one of my favorite characters in this arc so I vote for him
-
RE: [Theory] The Inherited Will, "One Piece"
@Monkey:
This is a really stupid argument.
The thing that is making it hard to travel around isn't the geography's fault, it's the government's for holding a firm monopoly on travel into the Grand and presumably from North/East Blues into West/South Blues.
Egypt controls the Suez canal, let's say Egypt becomes the basis of a world encompassing government. Now going from the Mediterranean to the Indian Ocean is way harder because they're huge assholes about using the canal. Is the solution to this problem to BLOW UP AFRICA AND WEST ASIA??
That's the basically what the theory is saying! Also really? Freedom of movement? Doesn't that sound really…shallow for a freedom theme? Especially given that the Strawhats and other pirates are already perfectly capable of having their adventures with Red Line or without it. In fact the Grand Line supports an incredibly adventurous environment.
If Luffy was given the choice between a Red Lineless/Grand Lineless world where you just randomly go to any island, and not the horribly challenging journey. He would pick the challenging route in a HEARTBEAT.
I mean this isn't even about freedom, you're talking about making things EASIER, not freer lol....uh what are you talking about. And actually I should have said many millions, as in, way before humans would even exist. Dinosaurs and all.
But again, what are you talking about. I don't even think you know what this part I quoted even means.First off, I don't think you know what a climate is. The Grand Line features like a billion different climates depending on the island. Not one.
And again, Little Garden specifically exists because of geographic isolation, with dinosaurs. Nami specifically refers to stuff on the island as pre-historic. So does Kureha when talking about the bug that bit Nami. The environment of Little Garden would have to have existed as such since before humans. And DEFINITELY before human civilization.actually I was trying to say, lets say 20.000 years ago the grandline didn't operate in this way, then for example 10,000 years ago it bacame the way it is now… and then 900 years ago AK tried to turn it back to the way it was 20.000 years ago.
but now the whole little garden thing made me realize that I was mistaken:D
you are right about that...
.....................about the freedom:
if I put up a high wall around your country and only a gate for you to cross over it, doesn't it effect your freedom?
perhaps we have different kind of view about it...
(you see...I mean something like Berlin Wall... not just that horrible...) -
RE: [Theory] The Inherited Will, "One Piece"
@Monkey:
If they weren't orginally this way it would have been many thousands of years ago, or Little Garden wouldn't and couldn't exist.
And freedom of what?I think it's obvious… freedom for every one to travel through the world...
and yes I meant many thousand years ago... then 900 years ago the AK tried to turn it back to it's original form but somehow failed to do so.
if all seas had this kind of climate I wouldn't say that(then I would have thought: well, this is how it goes in One piece, it is how the world in One piece is)... but this kind of climate, only belongs to Grandline... and the question is why? Why is it different from the other seas? unless it was not that way to begin with and something altered it's weather condition.(again it's just a hypothesis :D)
-
RE: [Theory] The Inherited Will, "One Piece"
@Monkey:
What greater good?
for freedom of course!!!!
and I don't think that the sees and lands in one piece world were this way to begin with…
I think luffy will only turn it(the world) to it's original form!!!
...just a hypothesis... -
RE: [Theory] The Inherited Will, "One Piece"
@Monkey:
Do people really still believe Luffy is going help an evil dead empire commit an act of extreme eco-terrorism?
why "evil" I wonder?
I know Luffy is extremely selfish(:D)…. though he had saved numerous people many times.
why shouldn't he do it this time? I mean for the greater good -
RE: [Theory] The Inherited Will, "One Piece"
I get what you are saying Kirk san.
you say that One piece can not be the Rio Poneglyph and simultaneously be the accomplishment of One piece project. right?but it can be both the Rio Poneglyph and the message it conveys, can't it be?
because the Rio Poneglyph on its own does not have any value…
the message it conveys is what is of importance here.and I say that the message which says unify the oceans is one piece.
because Roger had One piece but he didn't accomplish the project ( I think I know why!!!! not that he didn't want to... bu that he couldn't... because Poseidon was not yet born at the time!!!! and Roger was already dying)and I think that it was Roger who named the treasure one piece.... because the message was to have one piece of ocean...one united ocean...
-
RE: [Theory] The Inherited Will, "One Piece"
You shouldn't be too sure about that. I'm not going to go as far as saying the One Piece being the Rio Poneglyph seems too obvious, but that's the first thing that comes into mind when connecting the Void century and One Piece.
We already know the existence of the Rio Poneglyph, we also know it will tell the truth. Shouldn't the One Piece be something completely new to surprise the readers? While being relevant to the whole story? I think so. Rio Poneglyph is also centered around Robin, it is her dream after all. One Piece should be something that connects everyone, without having 90% into Robin and 10% for the rest of the world.
Like in 20 years from now in the world of One Piece, people will ask "what was the One Piece?" "It was the Rio Poneglyph". Does not sound right to me, at all. I'm well aware of the hints about the RP but all these quotes from Whitebeard and Roger could have a double meaning.
1.How can you be so sure that the truth wouldn't surprise you?
(I mean, when you decipher Rio poneglyph)
2.I don't think that it is One piece that should connect everyone's dream…but as for the Raftel...
A) Luffy will find one piece and become pirate king
B) Nami will be closer to drawing a complete map
C) Robin will find the last poneglyph
D) Sanji will find all blue(just before reaching raftel or just after it as the first post says)
E) Ussop most probably will become a brave warrior of the sea at that time
F) When Sunny reach to raftel, she will be franky's dream ship... a ship that had reached the end of the world!!!!I'm trying to say that no matter what one piece is!!!! by the time they reach Raftel, most of them would achieve their dream.
Now why do I think that it is Rio poneglyph?
because we know that the last poneglyph is in raftel... Robin said it in sky island when she read roger's words:"I have come here and will lead this passage to the farthest end of the world"
and if you remember Shirohige's last words... he said that just like there are those who carry Roger's will, I'm sure someone will appear to carry on Ace's will..."It has been passed down since ancient times" ( I believe it refers to the void century)
"and then in future, some one will appear, carrying the history of all those decades on his back,
and challenge this whole world to a fight.
Sengoku
you guys in the world government…
all fear that immense battle engulfing the whole world…
that will eventually come.
I don't care myself...
but as soon as some one find that great treasure…
the entire world will be upside down
and some one will find it
that day definitely come sooner or later"now why when some one finds one piece should declare war to the world and turns it upside down? and why should government fear the day that some one should find One piece?
I think the answers are obvious…isn't it?and before shirohige says these words he has this flashback when he asks roger that what "D" is and then says to BB that you are not him... the man that roger was waiting for...
we can understand two things from the flashback:
1. The "D" is related to the great treasure one piece
2. Those who carry the "D" in their name has a history from a long time ago( the void century, if you ask me)I think those who carry the name of "D" are descendents of those people in the void century... now some one who carries the name of "D" (I hope LuffY :D) will find One piece and one piece some how reveal the truth about the void century... since the last poneglyph is in raftel ...robin will read it and connect it to the other poneglyphs and decipher it( Decipher the non existent Rio poneglyph)... and the truth? I think it is what MR Ashura_KingFisher predicted in the first post.
there are so many other clues that one piece might be Rio Poneglyph… but I can't tell all of them in one post
.........by the way... I don't say it's a fact... but it's probably what will happen
-
RE: [Theory] The Inherited Will, "One Piece"
I)
What did the Ancient Kingdom want to accomplish? Who were the oppressors? Is One Piece the Rio Poneglyph or is it the Inherited will of these people?
one piece is 99% the Rio Poneglyph…
but then when you decipher it, I believe it would be what MR Ashura_KingFisher predicted in the first post.So we get that the "Will of D" is the infused soul's will ("Will of the Devil").
I don't really think that the "D" in luffy's family name means Devil!!!!!
-
RE: [Theory] The Inherited Will, "One Piece"
I don't agree that dragon is Uranus.
but he can be, or at least his devil fruit can be…
because now we know that after an ability user dies the devil fruit will reborn somewhere on the earth!!!
so dragon's devil fruit could also exist 900 years ago!!! -
RE: [Theory] The Inherited Will, "One Piece"
awesome theory!!!!! it almost felt like you are Oda, spoiling the whole thing for me…
.............................
I searched about joyoboyo on wikipedia and found some interesting information
I don't know if you'd already noticed it or not!!!here it is:
According to a selectively abridged set of stanzas within a Joyoboyo prophesy (all are extremely long epic poems):"The Javanese would be ruled by whites for 3 centuries and by yellow dwarfs for the life span of a maize plant prior to the return of the Ratu Adil: whose name must contain at least one syllable of the Javanese Noto Negoro."
does it remind you of something?
"D"
the will of "D"
Monkey D luffy…...................................
I also agree with you about the 2 spots!!!
and I believe they will use Uranus to destroy one spot and Pluton for the other... (and shirahoshi as you said, will stop the sea kings!!!)
