That's actually a great idea for growth to Robin's powers, I can imagine the kind of resourcefulness she'd use like throwing a stone and then sprouting many stone fists out of it to form a sort of boulder.

As 3-headed monkey said, the easiest way to maintain a black outline and still be able to color without going over the lines is duplicate the panel layer, and set the blending properties to multiply, if you then work off the layer below, you will be able to color in and still maintain the black outlines.

Another technique I use is to use a different layer for every seperate color on the image.

Finally, you can pull off some very easy shading and highlighting with the dodge and burn tools, set the pressure to 25% and decide on a direction of light source, then use that light source as a reference on where to dodge and where to burn.

I would show you an example with a coloring I have done, but i'm on the college computers and the art is at home, when I get home i'll post it in this thread, nice job for a start though I know how you feel.

Ok here it is, all I have done to color this is use the brush, dodge, burn, and magic wand tools.

She will get her opportunity on Gyojin island I believe, too much potential for a fight between Nami and a fishman/merman (I don't know which but you know what I mean). She will likely get both her personality, backstory and fighting abilities fleshed out this arc as it's perfect for her.

As a huge fan of Nami as a person and not as T&A, I look forward to it.

Anyone got the newest opening in .avi? I tried using existing downloads but none of them will open in VirtualDub :(.

I love the little salute Sanji exchanges with Chopper, like he was guarding Robin or something.

I actually think that will happen, robin will hold the fingers and try to break them, but flamingo will use another of his techniques (he's gonna have more than one trick in the bag, or he wouldn't be a good fight) to break robin's hold, then from then on have to use more subtle mind control things which he can do without strings, stuff like screwing with the brain to reverse motor control (right leg moves left arm, trying to turn your head causes your knee to contract), or causing mental distress to the victim.
