Not to mention being a shifter takes a lot of stamina, something Armin have been known to lack. Him being able to become Colossal titan is remain to be seen, the only way to get special abilities so far was in consuming/injecting special serum. Ymir upon consuming the shifter didn't seem to gain any special abilities.

I'll just mention that there was an interesting take on Lex, plan, and reasoning. The premise was, how many times does Lex says something truthfully, there was no way Lex would let Martha or Lois walk away alive after all was said and done, "knowledge without power", would it be enough to simply remove Superman or would Lex want to fill that vacuum as a new saviour, so he would present his very own Justice League brought to you by Lexcorp, whose first foe will be either Doomsday or Superman(The Murderman of Martha's and journalists and Batman's)

      @TLC:

Martha is like one of the most hilariously bad plot twists I've seen in a long time, the type that would even send Shyamalan into a fit of giggles.

I remember you - you thought senator Finch drank the piss. No wonder things are hilarious.

After 2 and a half hours worth of building up Batman's animosity for Superman, the thousands of people who died in Metropolis, the people who died in the courtroom, all the xenophobic sentiment he expressed, the talk of how if there's a 1% chance he could destroy the world, he must be eliminated talk…it's all forgotten because their moms had the same name.
"But but...it's a trigger word for Batman cause of how his mom died!"

The 1% percent chance, argument number 2, Batman straight up projecting his own shortcomings onto Superman eventually going down the darker path he himself is on. Superman did not kill the citizens of Metropolis, instead he even get's blamed for not preventing the bomb from going, even here on this forum and many other platforms, "people hate what they don't understand". By all account Batman should kill himself following his own reasoning(well actually he tries), solution, don't jump to conclusions, men are still good.

Who gives a shit, does Bruce go into a panic attack every time he meets a woman named Martha? Was he so dense that he couldn't comprehend that Superman had a mom and that simple fact was all it took to wash away YEARS of resentment? What would have happened had Kent's mom been named Mary? "Mar-! Wait, her name is Mary? Never mind, I'm gonna kill you!"

That we don't know, the context from both incidents however is pretty applicable. Different name…, yeah most likely Superman would be dead. And Mary might get saved after Superman is dead. Mom. "I bet your parents taught you, that you mean something." "Alien mom who cares", of course that's only for the sake of argument.

On flipside Batman finally got the chance to save the (different) Martha. Might that be enough to put the ghosts of the pasts behind. But then again it's not Batman if it's not about his dead parents.

It's a completely asinine twist and I don't care what flowery symbolism and deep metaphors you try to draw from it, none of it is anything less than superficial and none of it would fly in a real world context with supposedly real relatable characters that act and respond in ways a normal human would act and respond in that given situation. You could try and make the argument that you're not supposed to think too deeply about it but when the serious adult superhero movie shows less thought and maturity than one of those "goofy" Marvel movies, it's an embarrassment.

Well then why you even bring this discussion to the table if you don't care what another party has to say. Relatable characters to you, tell me normal human being, how would a normal human fare against the responsibility of whole world waiting for you to save them, a second coming or the devil in disguise, people saying what you should or shouldn't do, how to act, when to smile, sounds all kinds of terrific to me. Gladly I'm not subjecting myself to something so mentally draining, to go down the path of a hypocrite well come along a moment of self reflection, and I'd feel pretty terrible. I wouldn't monologue about what is it that I feel, and why is it that I do what I do. I'm sure some do, shouldn't judge those folks.

The worst part of it was definitively Supes just randomly shouting Martha in the first place. He never refers to her by her name, why would he do it in that situation?

      Argument one. Why Martha-

! I'll copy paste my explanation.
! "This is an observation made based on a hunch, which checks out. Provided is the following breakdown of the scene-

Some people would point at the use of “Martha” and paint it as illogical, easily replaceable by Mom or mother. Why does Clark use “Martha”? Because the intention was to say Martha Kent.
! The choked out “Kent” is broken in two cuts, the viewer and Batman dismisses it as a grunt."

      Martha ex machina.

You get a flashback of the instances where you can spot the very importance Martha held to Bruce.

Mother figures play big part in the life of both Superman and Batman. Only Lex never mentions his own mother, and yet still claims how "Every boy's special lady is his mother."

There are always 3 arguments that get's presented about the Martha scene, all of them already talked through with the conclusion being you either accept the interpretation or not.

Why isn't a flaw? It's an incredibly cheap plot device that comes outta no where and just solves the biggest conflict of the movie just like that.

Why is it a flaw? How do you rate that cheapness. The Martha was previously established. Stop being vague.

The Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg added nothing to the movie. It was pretty obvious that they were thrown in for the sake of fanservice.

Sure were, unless you start thinking on possible reason as to why Luthor been collecting that info and even prepared the logos for them.

that's not true. he stopped beating him when he heard him say martha he expressed no regrets at all nor were we shown anything to indicate what you're saying.

Why's the flashback, why throw a spear in disgust? You see no connection apart from it all hinging on it being the same name? What is it about name Martha that makes Bruce stop and recall that night? The gun, the fall. And in the end the rise.

"That's how it starts. The fever, the rage, the feeling of… powerlessness that turns good men...cruel."
"Justice turn dark across the harbor"

We know Batman has gone cruel. The dream of bat attacking Bruce, on some level even Bruce himself knows he've gone down the darker path
"The Daily Planet criticizing those who think they're above the laws. A little hypocritical, wouldn't you say?"
"about an alien who…if he wanted to, could burn the whole place down. There wouldn't be a damn thing we can do to stop him."

"We have always created icons in our own image. What we've done is we project ourselves on to him. The fact is, maybe he's not some sort of devil or Jesus character."
"He has the power to wipe out the entire human race and If we believe there even a 1% chance that he is our enemy, we have to take it as an absolute certainty. And we have to destroy him."
How's that not a projection Bruce "But, he is not our enemy."
"Not today. 20 years in Gotham, Alfred. We've seen what promises are worth. How many good guys are left. How many stay that way." Has Batman himself stayed that way? "It's suicide."
"This maybe the only thing I do that matters."
"20 years of fighting criminals amount to nothing?"
"Criminals are like weeds, Alfred. Pull 1 up, another grows in it's place."
There's that feeling of powerlessness, again. "This is about the future of the world. It's my legacy."
And look where it took you.
-Martha- Joe Chill with his gun murdering Bruce's parents. Now here is Bruce with spear preparing to murder Clark. And a name Martha is uttered and that Martha is set up to die. Who's the bad guy now?
But you got your chance to finally save her.
"I've failed him, in life. I won't fail him in death."
"Man is still good. We fight. We kill. We betray one another. But we can rebuild. We can do better. We will."

      The rise

he was seen with him multiple times, he was broke and he gave some sort of a job, and the chair was specficily made for him from luthercorps.

And who knows that the chair was made for him apart from Luthor? What sort of job, and they only seen each other once as far the the film goes. Wallace didn't know he was going to die.

i agree with this 100%. one shouldn't just keep going with the bandwagon and let others tell him whats good and whats bad. that is why i decided to watch it, and i can honestly tell you that BvS is a mediocre movie.

Good, I'm not telling you to like it, since the most I can offer is but a connection that could be made. And is made for some people.
For many others those connections are meaningless just like some works would be meaningless to me, but it can be there. And those works are there and mean something to others

–- Update From New Post Merge ---

      @valiantt:

      I always felt like the "art is subjective" argument is generally utilized by those that really don't have very much else to back some media for being generally awful. Essentially it boils down to "Oh I like it in spite of it being pretty darn flawed so boo on you". And that's fine, no one else is telling you "not" to like it, but one cannot be THAT dense to ignore flaws when a film like BvS has a considerable amount of it;

It's much more simple, for different people there are different flaws to consider, for some those flaws are of different degree, sorry to say that instead of categorizing them into something I- honestly… wouldn't know what, I simply looks at what's there and don't go saying something is a flaw, or good, or bad.

and the Martha thing is a pretty darn stupid flaw in the film's narrative.

      Sorry you feel that way.

What are you basing those facts on? Opinions of other people who you feel are more fit to judge, but those are still people. With their preferences taste and -
-oh measurable qualities. It's not measurable, you think something is bad? Something less pleasant comes along and expands your linear grade, something good? Well here comes something even better and the thing before is back to gray zone. Apply that to any perceived quality you might list, you can stretch it by ears all day. So what the universal formula for judging a movie, a highbrow crit telling you something is good because he is a very sophisticated person, so does that denounces your preferences over theirs? To confine something to a box that is either self-made or made by others is very restricting. I like to think I've expanded my willingness to understand and perceive things without being told what's right or wrong.

it was bad. the plot was nonsensical, the mood was all gloomy for no reason at all, character didn't act like their comic counter parts at all.

Subjective. That depends on where it lost you. The mood had its reason, there is nothing light about the events that unfold. Irrelevant in the context of existence of large amount of interpretations, including headcanons. A bunch of unsympathetic jerks or flawed beings trying their best to find their place in the world that isn't simple black and white, the interpretation will vary from viewer to viewer.

batman wants to kill superman, stabs people with knifes, kills them with his plane's machine guns and

And that behaviour is addressed and is condemned. Batman wants to remove Superman because he is projecting his own failure of upholding own morals onto Clark, with the increased magnitude of potential fallout we saw in a dream/vision. Symbolism is painful topic to touch when it comes to Snyder for many, but I find the Wayne manor to perfectly mirror Bruce own inner decay, prime condition in the beginning, empty burnt shell of previous self throughout the duration of movie, just Pillars and foundation remains in Knightmare. Word is WB put the glasshouse up for auction, hope we see the restoration of Wayne manor sometime in the future. Time will tell if it's the restoration and development of characters to their full glory or not.

decides to spare superman's life over the stupidest of reasons.

Because batman finally realized how far he'd gone? How hypocritical he is for projecting his shortcoming onto Superman? To murder the innocent because of your own preconceived fear of something outside your understanding or control.

the plot also demands that people somehow blame him for this bomb attack for no reason, when it was said that it came from that guy's wheel chair. did they investigate the wheelchair guy to reveal that he had been working for lex luther to arrest him? off course not, that would make too much sense.

To police there was no connection between Wallace and Luthor at the time, Lois investigation is what helped get him behind bars. People blame Superman for the reasons you yourself is giving-,

superman was a complete idiot. he could've saved those people from the bomb because he can hear things and see beyond physical objects but nope the plot demands he doesn't.

He simply must, because that's what Superman should be. All knowing, all seeing paranoic. Not. Clark felt awful enough to struggle looking in Wallace direction for more than an instance.
"As for Superman, he was in the room, but obviously failed to stop him."
"And so, we are left to wonder, If Superman was aware of the threat and did nothing, was he then complicit in the Capitol tragedy?"
Apart from discrediting Superman competence the bombing scene serves just enough of purpose to show that Superman is not all powerful, he can be distracted, x-ray or not it' finding the needle amongst a bunch of other identical needles. Enough for Lex to order the kidnapping of Martha, because he won't expect it and wouldn't know where to focus.

oh and superman just followed luther's command when he took his mother hostage and went over to kill batman without actually trying anything to find his mother. is it really this easy to control superman? he could commit atrocities if worse people kidnapped his mother.

Had Superman went to kill Batman there would have been no battle to be fair. It's unfortunate that there is no word on Director's cut containing that scene from the interview where Clark was overwhelmed by cries for help when attempting to look for his mother.

both of them were manipulated by very obvious tricks that should make a normal person questions them.

The foundation was all there for Lex to take advantage of.

lastly doomsday, he came out of nowhere and the way he was "revived" was just too stupid. why does luther's blood make him change? they should've just put him in that weird blob and said that it revived him somehow, it would still be stupid but much less than magical revival blood.
and there much more i don't remember.

Blood had little play in resurrection part, except it was done for Lex's own personal reasons. There was an interesting instance spotted in doomsday behaviour, but for now it's nothing more than coincidence.

      @HeartOfDarkness:

Civil War is miles and miles better than BvS. One is a movie that despite being a comic-interpretation can still stand on it's own due to it's characters as well as their reasons and ideological difference that was build up from previous movies and wasn't just pulled from writer's ass.

For you and many more people, yes. Don't care about Civil War to comment on it. Motivations were apparent to me

While the other is a complete mess on a basic narrative level

Meaning the story flow felt jarring or it lost you.

with dark and gritty and "no fun allowed" approach.

Irrelevant. Fun was allowed. This is entirely subjective.

      Objectively BvS is bad.

Does using the word "objectively" makes you feel more sure of your reasoning.

For crying out loud the main conflict in that movie is solved through "Martha?!" …. "Martha..." .... "Yes Martha"..... "Ok lets stop everything because our mothers have the same name"..... That is downright lazy and shitty writing.

Now here things hinge differently for different folks. What's your issue with that scene specifically. Jokes and mockery are all nice and well, but absolutely uncalled for, except for emotional outburst.

I can't comprehend when people try to somehow defend this mind-bloggingly stupid movie that clearly was made to wank Zack's own dark and gritty approach with absolute no fucks given about the characters.

Sorry that it's that hard for you to look at things outside your comfort zone to even entertain the notion that god forbid someone enjoys things you don't.

It's essentially like the Fant4stic but received a little well because it features fight scene between two of the most popular comic characters.
Had this movie been about some other not-well-known superheroes and it would have been a Fant4stic-level of bad with everyone bashing the living shit outta it but it's Superman and Batman so fans gotta make excuse and justify this lazy jar of piss. The scene with Lex and the jar of piss sums up the entire thought process that went into this movie.

Didn't see, didn't care about the comparison. The actual thought process is debatable, the movie should've been longer tbh.

There will never be anything objective about movies, them being the product of people's imagination. There is no universal formula for scoring movies, just your personal investment. Art will always be subjective.

Maybe the extended version will establish that he figured out who Batman was after that scene?

Lex had enough of suspicion on Batman identity to intercept Wallace checks, for a duration of…. at least 9 months (going by the amount of checks we are shown). The party happens after Wallace get's arrested for defacing Superman statue, while the party is a nice way to confirm or debunk that suspicion, one should also note the absence of Batman folder (and Superman's for that matter) on Lex's research into metahumans. The absence of files can be contributed to Lex a)knowing Batman to be human, b)predicting Batman to steal the files and removing them beforehand, not to alarm Bruce, c)combination of both.

The " who knows my identity" between Superman/Batman/Lex was very very fuzzy in the movie.

      Not really.

Lex on Superman - "The shortest distance between any 2 points is a straight path. And I believe the swiftest path to Superman…...is a pretty little road called Lois Lane."
Lex on Batman - "Ripe fruit, his hate. 2 years growing. But it did not take much to push him over actually. Little red notes, big bang. You let your family die!"

Looking back on "You should, not pick a fight with this person.", back then Lex already knew, even offered partnership to Bruce "Maybe we could, be partner on something. My R&D is up to all sorts of no good."

Plus for many the problem with the movie lies in tone and the characters not adhering to built headcanon.

      Ultimate Cut added scenes

! You sure you want to get spoiled?

      ! Ok….
! * Bruce saves more than one kid at the Black Zero event. He’s the BatDad we deserve.

      • More violence shown in the village. More dialogue from the African man Lois was interviewing.
      • The KGBeast burns the bodies of the men he shot to frame Superman for the killing. An actress hired by Lex confirms that Superman was the one who did it.
      • Jimmy Olsen say “I’m Jimmy Olsen”. Him and Lois’ first exchange is funny.
      • The CIA attempts to bomb the village with Lois still held captive. Clark intervenes.
      • Insignificant: When Clark first starts his investigation in Gotham, there’s male couple kissing in the background on the ferry.
      • Clark goes investigating in Gotham, he’s supposed to be there to write his article on the football game, but instead goes to interview the actress Lex hired. She’s not there, but his investigation in The Batman begins here.
      • We see 2 different opinions on Batman. A woman claims the only reason to be frightened of Batman is if you have a reason to be. A man says implies that Batman has changed, now everyone should be afraid. “He’s angry and he’s hunting.”
      • More Clark/Lois interaction. He’s worried about her investigation into the bullet. He says it’s too dangerous. She says that’s why she didn’t tell him about it.
      • Lex has more of a background presence. Clark is assigned to the library benefit because ‘someone requested Clark Kent cover the event’. So clearly Lex already knows who he is from the beginning. Meaning he wanted Clark and Bruce to meet.
      • Insignificant: Perry calls Clark a nerd.
      • More Lex dialog with Finch. “Maybe if I keep everything the same Dad will come back.” He talks about his Dad almost as if he’s not dead.
      • There’s a quick Bruce Wayne shower scene. Yes, we see Ben’s ass. Yes, it looks good.
      • Clark calls his mom after the watching the Senator Finch interview. He asks why his dad never left Kansas and ask why can’t life be more simple. Martha responds nothing was ever simple.
      • We see Lex pulling the strings more and more. He has the man Batman branded kill while in prison. Then he has the pics sent to Clark.
      • There’s a new scene with Jon Stewart roasting Superman.
      • Jena Malone plays an unmade forensic scientist.
      • Extended scene with Diana she’s talking with a Curator about the sword on display.
      • The Knightmare scene is longer. We see all the trucks arriving at the compound Batman is at. There’s a longer shot of Batman walking to the truck. Also an extended scene of Batman fighting the Superman soldiers.
      • There’s a scene with Clark trying to find out what happened to the man who was killed. He talks with his girlfriend outside of the GCPD. She tells him words won’t stop Batman, only fists.
      • Longer moment between Clark and his mom, she’s giving him advice.
      • The actress Lex hired sees the KGBeast waiting outside her apartment as she gets off the bus. She stays on the bus.
      • She goes to see Senator Finch to tell her the truth before the senate meeting. The pieces of the African plot line start slowing falling into place.
      • Lois realizes the entire thing was a setup. She tells Perry to run the story. Lex set the whole thing up, it was an ambush for Superman.
      • Senator knows everything. Lex threatened and coerced that actress into lying about Superman. She realizes Lex has been using the senate, playing them like puppets.
      • The KGBeast pushes the african actress in front of a subway car to silence her.
      • When Finch says “Today is a day for truth.” she was talking about Lex setting up Superman. That’s when she sees ‘granny’s peach tea’. In the context of the UE at that moment she realizes she’s been played when she sees Lex’s empty seat.
      • After the senate explosion, victims are being treated on the steps outside. Superman is flying victims out of the wreckage. He’s helping. He’s saving people. He sees all the damaged caused, of the dead bodies and blames himself. He locks eyes with Lois, and flies away. (Ok so I legit teared up bye)
      • There’s a scene with Alfred chopping wood. Out side the Wayne residence. He goes inside looking for Bruce and sees what happened at the senate meeting. The returned checks from Wallace sit on a coffee table. He seems to realize that Bruce is about to do something reckless. He turns to face the lake, worried.
      • We see Lex watch footage of Batman breaking into Lexcorp to steal the Kryptonite. He smirks. All according to plan.
      • Longer montage of Bruce weaponizing the Kryptonite and a little bit longer of him working out. (God…)
      • We see people blaming Superman for the attack on the capital. News outlets are saying if he’s so powerful, why couldn’t he stop a bomber a few feet away from him? There’s a protest where they hang and burn a Superman doll in frustration.
      • Longer scene of Clark in the mountains. He walks by a group of men by the base of the mountain. As he walks by they say “He knows the mountain is not passable. He’s come to die.”
      • Lois is watching the news. Lex apparently planted bomb materials for investigators to find in Wallace’s apartment. Superman has not been ruled out as a co-conspirator. We cut to Lex on the helipad as the news channel still talks about evidence pointing to Superman being involved. He smirks.
      • Lois goes to Wallace’s apartment. It’s completely changed from the scene where we see Lex give him the wheel chair. Anti-Superman graffiti everywhere. Bomb making material on the desk. Lois realizes that Wallace had just bought groceries. She conclude he didn’t know he was going to die that day.
      • She calls Jena Malone’s character again. That bullet from the desert? Wallace’s new wheel chair? Both made from the same metal. The same metal Lexcorp manufactures. Also the wheelchair was lined with lead. So even if Clark checked, he wouldn’t have known it was a bomb.
      • We see the full Lois kidnapping scene. (Her being dragged out to a truck)
      • After the BvS fight, Alfred tells Bruce where Martha Kent is. Bruce says “I don’t deserve you Alfred.” “No, you don’t.” is Alfred’s response.
      • When Clark goes to confront Lex he says “You lose.” Lex says “I don’t know how to lose.” Clark says “You’ll learn.” Lex mockingly says “I’ll learn! I don’t hate the sinner, I hate the sin. And yours, my friend, is existing.” So basically this whole scene is like 2 minutes longer.
      • There’s a scene of Martha getting rescued by the GCPD after Batman saves her from the warehouse.
      • There’s a scene with Lex in the Kryptonian ship communicating with what is presumed to be Steppenwolf, 3 mother boxes, and an outline of Earth’s solar system. This scene was also released on YouTube back in March.
      • The end montage is longer. Metropolis is shown to be empty, leaves blow through the street. Business’ are closed. The Daily Planet shut down. Why? Because everyone in Metropolis is attending Superman’s funeral.
      • The Daily Planet staff attends Clark’s funeral in Kansas. Pete Ross and Lana Lang from Man of Steel are also there.
      • The priest presiding over Clark’s funeral reads a passage about resurrection and the “Earth giving birth to the dead”.
      • BRUCE PAYS FOR CLARK’S FUNERAL BYE I’M GONE
      • In the prison scene, Lex makes it abundantly clear that he knows Batman is Bruce. Lex says “Look at us. This is how it all caves in. Civilization. Wayne Manors. Out the window. But who would believe me? I’m insane. I’m not even fit to stand trial.” He laughs. Bruce says “That’s right, we have hospitals to treat and heal with compassion. But that’s not where you’re going. I arranged for you to be transferred to Arkham Asylum (Suicide Squad cameo confirmed?) in Gotham.” Lex quickly stops smiling.

! For the last line, info is floating that it's "Civilization on the wane, manners out the window.".

A question that's been up on my mind, why'd you un-sticky round discussion threads? In previous years they've always remained stickied.

      @Wintermute:

Seeing those awesome campaigns I realized I need a program/tool to make gifs with OP heads and such. Any suggestions from the veterans so I can step up my game?

After Effects for motion tracking, using a plugin that would convert that to .gif or just importing the footage to photoshop, exporting as save for web. Doing it by hand in photoshop is too much of a hell … unless it's just simple movement and rotation, and scaling I think I recall photoshop having ability to keyframe those transformations now in video timeline.

      @Green_vs_Red:

How long til you turn it into waste:ninja:

I should have seen it coming.

! Time it'll take to move on, till some balance is found or something new catches my interest.
! But I'll rephrase I keep stumbling upon things that connect and click into place, from motivations to plot to visuals. My understanding is currently limited to a concept (contradictory because that makes it unlimited) that I'm struggling to define(the ways to do that seem limited), unrefined thoughts in a form of bullet points is a bad way to go about presenting another POV. Rather than even debate I'd like to collect all the information and point the general direction from which to better inspect it, suppose I'm also waiting till Director's Cut gets released.
! It's an amazing feeling of making a discovery, finding a new angle or when your hunch checks out. The latest being Superman actually saying "You're letting him kill Martha- Kent", for example.

! Accept this confused writing as it is, don't want to think about how bad my attempt on getting my thoughts across is, or that it may undermine whatever opinion I'll present in the future. Seems a shame to delete it too

The information concerning Suicide Squad getting reshoots was available before Faraci added the "Reshoots to make SS more fun" narrative, those who took and run with it cite him. This rumor even reached me on other platform. I don't mind that the rumor exist, I mind that people keep referencing it and then it can very well transform into-

"Well looks like they sure did use all of the funny scenes in the new trailer, now"
"Well sure looks like them reshoots added that element of fun"

      @Satsuki:

If they really are using all the funny scenes up in the trailers . . . . .

According to this source, Faraci is full of bullshit.

For example, how many sites reprinted the story that the Suicide Squad reshoots were all about adding jokes to the movie because they used every joke in the movie in the last trailer? Sorry, but that’s just nonsense. There were some big reshoots, but it wasn’t just to add jokes, and they certainly didn’t use every single joke in the film in the last trailer. The reason everyone picks that up and runs with it is because they like how nice and neat it sounds. Reshoots. Add jokes. Fix movie. Never mind that people went crazy about my (accurate) reportage about how divisive early reactions were to Batman v Superman. People didn’t want to hear that story, so they attacked me and they attacked my reporting, determined to simply shout it down.

! The opening sequence features Zorro poster and Excalibur title on the cinema Marquee(?)
      ! >!

! 2:30 if the video off

! Superman deposes a dangerous African warlord in order to save Lois, chaos ensues with the help of Luthor men, lot of people die in the resulting power vacuum and violent uprising to fill the void, as stated by the woman in Senate. SUPERMAN IS NOT BEING BLAMED FOR SHOOTING PEOPLE WITH BULLETS, but for involving himself in tricky political situation, he states later to Lois that he doesn't kill anybody

! Superman smiles reassuringly to the girl he saved from fires in Mexico, and the smile is gone as people start to reach out to him.

! Alfred's speech implies that Bruce became much more brutal and started branding people only after the events in Metropolis

! When Bruce wakes up after the Flash gives him his message you can see papers flying around, that encounter happened for real

! Piss in a Jar and call it Grandma's peach tea, plan an assassination and call it a deterrence. Is a call-back to let Senator Finch know she's about to die, and it dawns on her as she sees Lex missing. Also let media blame Superman on failing to prevent the bomb from going off or even taking notice. Because that's exactly what some of the movie viewers did. And, no Senator Finch does not drink the pee.

! Kryptonian ship mentions it's vast database as it's booting up, once Lex took control of it he orders it to teach him, thus he gets access to whatever information of interest

! The cubes is motherbox, the balls on top is our star system. Motherbox is the means of transportation via boomtube used primarily by residents of New Genesis and Apokolips. And yes a motherbox was the thing that fused with Cyborg.
The horned creature is from Apokolips, but I got no clue who.
