Why did the Cavs pick Bennet instead of Porter? I'm asking because I may not know college players in-depth being from outside the US, but Bennet looks more like half-4 and half-3, when they already have Thompson as PF, and they need a pure Small Forward like Otto Porter seems to be.
I like Oladipo in Orlando, but they should really trade Afflalo to the Clippers for Bledsoe (this is a rumored deal) to get a great young and athletic line-up. And get rid of Harrington and Turkoglou. Imagine a starting 5 of Vucevic-Harris-Harkless-Oladipo-Bledsoe. I would really like that.
I'm not surprised by Noel sliding down to 6th. He played few games and doesn't really have an offensive game. Plus the injury. Instead I was shocked by the trade with Philly. This means they're letting Bynum leave (and rightfully so) but they must have great faith in MCW if they decided to give away Holiday. He could form a great trio with Gordon (if he decides to give half a shit and doesn't injury again) and the Brow. A fresh start for the Pelicans was much needed.
The Bobcats. What the hell guys. How can they miss every pick every year? MacLemore was right there for them and they picked another will-be-bust. They learned nothing from Sean May, Adam Morrison, Bismack and MKG? (this video backs up my point perfectly:
)
I like the T'Wolves draft. I was baffled when I saw they picked Burke when they already have Ricky, but then with some good trades they got what they needed. Shabazz could be the steal of the draft because he perfectly fits there as a scoring SG. I also like Lorenzo Brown. They needed an athletic backup PG.
