Lol chopper has a tough rival now

I dont remember seeing luffy laugh while fighting even if he formed weird shapes, baloon, or anything be kept the serious face.
Now it seems like the fruit itself is making luffy fight the way he fight right now.
Other than that, the fight has been hilarious and although seems so looney tooney vibe, it still didn't reduce the excitement.
So having a hard time deciding whether i like the gomu gomu reveal or not ,for now.
Oda could have many things under his sleeves so let's wait for further explanation/ reveal.

If there are 7 to 8 more chapters before new year, then 1035 or 1036 could close vol. 102, which would be released around march/ april.
I wonder if kaidou would be down in vol. 103 ?
If that so, the climax would be mid 2022.
And there should be 4 volume release in 2022. OP could reach 500 Million circulation around release of 103. Maybe sooner? Because we're talking globally.

That's the order Roger got them I believe.

Roger also couldn't read the Poneglyphs when they reached Lodestar as Oden hadn't joined him yet. So I would assume there is someone on the island who knows, perhaps the mystery eyepatch character that Oda has been teasing.

The Fishman Island one is gone in the present day though, possibly stolen by giants (which might put it on Elbaf) or somehow pulled away via a super powerful curent meaning its on the bottom of the sea somewhere (meaning Law might find it using his submarine).

But luffy was bound to come back to FI.
Madam shirley's prediction that luffy gonna wrecked that place in havoc. Though, we're not clear by that prediction, could be something else.

Let see, don't know about that. Hey we already know a bit about newgate's background, a peaceful person looking for family and advemture, shank's, a junior crew of the PK, big mom, an abnormal kid, even for the family of giants.
But for kaidou, we only saw him in oden's story, a glimpse about him joining rocks, absolutely nothing before rocks.
His conversation with yamato the previous chapter made me realized, his story was not told yet.

Depends on if your using the Japanese tanks or the English volumes. There's a big difference in thickness. But either way 4 shelves about 3 feet long should cover it. Those can fit 29 or 30 volumes per shelf depending on how tight you want it.

I recently changed out one of my shelves to be exactly that. It's future proofed for a while, it should hold 125 or so volumes, though the series is probably going ot be a tiny bit longer than that, I'll probably end up putting some on top inbetween bookends or something.

That should fit well i guess. Now this is my prediction for remaining volumes.

What happened if Luffy defeated the two yonkou (something unthinkable before) and opened wano?
He's probably really close on becoming the PK that's for sure.
And we haven't even seen straw hat grand fleet in action yet.
There could just be one last voyage and that include visiting Elbaf, and a final war with SH grand fleet + worst generation + ex WB + zou + wano samurai? against the final enemy.

If wano is finished in next 25 chapters, then the tour would be getting short with yamato (and oden's log book in hand). It's probably just another 25 chapters long before entering the final war.
And the final war include one piece.. it could be wrapped in maximum 100 chapters. So 125 chapters or about the same length as wano (a little bit less) of remaining.
So it'll be three years from now or 2024.
Next OP film could be 2022 end or beginning of 2023 and a final movie could be 2025.
How about that to you? The key is when oden log book has been read, the thing left is the execution (changing the tide with WG) and getting the one piece itself. So the exploration part where you're not sure where to go, become nearly gone.

With this in mind, it's only 150 chapters left so even less than 1200. Perhaps a little more elaboration to reach at least 1200 chapters (118-119 volume?). 15 books is quite long guys after wano ends so we should give it a try.

There's a number of problems with this arc, but this skirmish now isn't one. Certainly not a disaster you make it seem.

Yup i agree. Scabbards are hella strong guys.
Neko inu were never defeated by jack, we know that. And they fighting in turn were due to the limit of time, you know the day and night silly rule.
Kinemon was never a higher level swordsman than zoro. If zoro is an 8, kin is 6.5.not a bad swordsman too of course.
While denjiro, ashura and kawa, we know them as the scabbards strongest. They're about the same level with inu neko, i think.
Almost all the stronger scabbards were the ones that did not cross the time gate, obviously, the reason for it is more training years, just as another shounen would.

Haha, they know that the two are far out of their league, but the main reason is that the purpose of the capture is to become a tobi roppo.
So it's clearly not possible for pleasures and waiters. The most possible one is a headliner, with a gifter with smaller possibility.
It's becoming strange to me that even if one headliner got the part that deliver the final punch for luffy/zorro as a closing of dozens of other headliners/ gifters attack * if that is even possible, he/she would fit to become one of the tobi roppo
He/she would become the clear single weakest member of tobi roppo.
But we know zorro and luffy could at least survive, if not defeat, the great number of headliners and gifters that pursue them.

If you're taking points away from Killer because he's not using his usual weapons then you gotta grant Zoro the same leway. He's fighting with two swords, not his usual three. The moment Zoro got his third blade the fight ended.
And while they where toe to toe for a little while, it was only because of Gyukimaru's interference that Killer got an opening.

Zoro fainting is indeed very attypical. The blade did go straight through him, which is also attypical in OP and shounen in general, and could mean a more serious wound, but I actually think that was just Oda going for the troupe: a warrior rescues a passing damsel, putting his life at risk, and then the damsel takes care of him while he recovers.

I do agree with the worst generation still being underrated in terms of bounties, Killer has 200 millions bounty and Zoro has a 300 million one.

I don't want to start a power level discussion, but I really am not under the impression than Zoro vs Killer is the same type of challenge we saw in Luffy vs Katakuri, where it felt the fight could go either way. I think Zoro would win this fight every single time.

Also for roger (answering my own question), he probably too invested on the limited time he has to get to the last island so that he didnt give a damn for a state of a country at that time. Even his friend's home.

Kaidou somewhat has brought a slight strike of a real japanese shogun in my mind.
Everbody knows that a shogun does not always have to be loved by his citizen, things like execution of good guy bringing justice had came multiple time. Like that goemon story that oda used as a reference, for example.

Before he put Oden to rest, he admired Oden's one hour show of spirit and madness, and like somebody here pointed, he wasn't specifically cared about the scabbard escaping, as he was so focused to this man.
Deep within, Kaidou must have a desire to test how strong he was compared to Oden, if it was another condition, but in a scenario of death execution, it would be weird too to perhaps put the boiling to end and wait for several weeks and put another rematch, just the two of them.
It just doesn't fit in that condition.

And he's a criminal after all (a real bad pirate comes to my mind), so getting rid of a huge enemy with potential risk of destroying his plan is something he ought to do. He's not a fighting maniac.

I believe there's some sort of motive shift from orochi's part.
In the beginning, he might have been planning to just make people of wano suffer, but twenty something years from that time, or current time, he's just normal dictator who loves being royal, spending time having fun, and may have forget his initial motive to destroy wano.
He has transform back to the kind of idiot that fully deserve luffy's punch in full force like that CD guy in Sabaody (roswald ?) had, with additional final blow from the son of former emperor himself.

Well from sales view, KnY's achievement is incredible.
let's how much will be every KnY's volume will be sold a few years after its end (looks like its nearing it right now).
If its 20 volume times 3 million, it would be around 60 million. If 25 around 75 million.

Pretty good, but if we look it like that, it is pretty staggering that one piece literally sold more than 4 million with lets say 94 volumes (4.14 million if you count 390/94). Let's say it varies from 3-5 million copies. If someone has that actual number per volume it'd be nice.

The most huge thing for me is the roger's laughing scene and laugh tale, but everything else has been great so far. information are different with witnessing it straight from panel to panel, watching the real moment one by one, even though it was not spoiled as much as we want it to be. But fine for me.
