Let me spell it out for you one more time Juju.

In fiction, whenever a rivalry is set up, good story-telling entails a series of skirmishes culminating in one massive epic fight where both combatants throw everything they have at each other both physically and emotionally. Chapters wrought with emotional buildup, symbolism and all their techniques. Not one chapter of one guy wailing on the other while the other provides a pathetic resistance where he's finally put down like a dog. That's boring and underwhelming. It was Kishimoto's job to provide this fight, he had it in mind when he first set up this rivalry to give us this fight when he still gave a damn… and he just made a rushed mess because he couldn't be bothered to make an effort.

As for flashbacks, flashbacks are supposed to add to the story, give a new perspective on things, explain a character's motivations, progress the story. Kisame's flashback was just thrown together in an attempt to give his death a semblance of a point but it was done so clumsily that it ended up making him look like more of a joke.

So you moved on from pulling shit out of ur ass huh? good job. The fight was boring to you maybe, but it wasn't to me. The fight was epic and wasn't rushed. a fighy doesn't need to be drawn out to be good.

Kisame story made him look like a ruthless killer and why madara send him on the mission. It didn't make him look like a joke.

I don't completely hate this fight, I hate the way how the whole thing was rushed and forced. I enjoyed Kisames shark techniques. But I don't know, an Akatsuki member being fucking one-shooted? Weren't these guys supposed to be extraordinary in strength, rivaling the Kages (Oro/Sarutobi, Kakazu/first Hokage, Deidara/Gaara)?
And just asking, but where the fuck was samehada during the fight? I mean, It's his best and most powerful weapon, and he thought he wouldn't need it with Gai going complete apeshit?

Oro>Kisame and Kakazu got raped by the 1st. Deidara beat Gaara because of his village. They are Kage level or borderline Kage level. My ranking is

Big deal, his 50% clone could have been reasonably equal to 6 gates then and his 80% reasonably equal to 7 gates. I know I'm pulling these numbers out my ass but my point is that in terms of not only power continuity but story development, the notion that 7 gates Guy is that much stronger than the 100% real deal is ridiculous and underwhelming. Kishimoto reasonably built things up for an epic battle with the careful power display which could have even resulted in eight gates guy and he just threw it down the toilet with this rushed mess of a fight.

Because going by story consistency Gai's most powerul technique should be weaker than Kisame's or, being very lenient, around even.

The more chakra you have, the more you can put in a technique. The fact that you're now covering your eyes to the fundamental power system of this series speaks quite a bit about your debating skills Juju.

Showing exactly how things we know have happened, happened for a pointless, dead character adds something to the story somehow?

Rookies? Kakazu was weaken by Kakashi and Naruto finished him off. Kisame got killed by a jonin that rivals Kakashi. Deidara got killed by Sasuke who was trained by Oro for two years. Pain was killed by a combination of Naruto,MInato,6 tails,8 tails, and intel. Sasori was killed by chiyo(not a rookie and Sakura). Hidan killed was killed by shikiamaru. Itachi lwt himself die.

6 gated Gai beat Kisame and took his lunch money in the previous fight. After he beat him, Later, he even picked up Kakashi and ran back to the village thinking it was a competition.

Why does asksuki have to redeem? They captured 7 tail beast. The fight was epic and Gai Punch to the stomach was great.

His 30%clone got instanly killed by 6 Gates Gai. Gai had to use his most powerful attack to kill the real Kisame. How didn't make sense. He just got more chakra to use.

It adds to the story by showing how Madara met Kisame and why he send him on this mission of getting Intel. Also shows how Kisame nows his identity.

It was also the resolution of a longed hyped up battle. What type of battle it is is irrelevant in the face of writing a good story especially since the ninja thing is just a gimmick anyway as no one really acts like a ninja in this series.

We knew Kisame was an extremely abled ninja who didn't like his village. Big whoop. The fact that this came after he already died once just makes the whole thing more pointless.

Actually this chapter improved Kisame not make him look like a joke. He just took Gai attacks and still have the willpower to escape. Even chopper is confused by how u say this chapter ruined Kisame.

I'm with you on this one. Oda isn't Kishi or Kubo; Haki =/= Sharingan or Bankai. Only a few will use it, the rest will rely on their own skills or what have you.

Maybe at the end of the series, when Luffy becomes King and the Straw Hats become the strongest crew in the world, then yeah, everyone and their mom can have haki for all I care. Until then, only a small amount of people will have it.

bad ccomparison, They are only like 3 people with a sharingan in Naruto and no Kages have a sharigan. Anyways, Luffy will just know the basics when the timeskips resumes.

Yea, I can't think that everyone on the crew will get haki over the skip. They are all busy with other stuff, and evidentally it takes concentrated effort. Even Zoro's haki development will probably wait, if only for that reason alone. By time skip end I expect only Luffy to really have it. I expect Zoro and Sanji to develop it later, and if he doesn't develop it a little, I expect Usopp to get the others to imbue his weapons for him.

Yup–-I agree with this exactly. I think we'll see the SHs new looks or at least hints an teases of same (sillouettes and stuff maybe, especially for Usopp), maybe a bit of a tease on new powers or skills, and 600 will be the final, long awaited reunion. Can not wait!

I doubt Zoro doesn't learn the basics while training with Mihawk. Luffy and Zoro are basically always equal.

After Rock Lee's horrible pointless death, Hinata marrying Kiba who has lover her all along, and Sakura, Naruto and Glossy black have an amazing 38-some using jutsu clones and gender switching, as well as Naruto and Sasuke's epic final battle against the 11 tailed Beast hidden boss that was sealed into the planet Mars, a bloodied and dying Naruto climbs to the top of a mountain to find the source of it all. The greatest mountain ever, tens of feet high. And upon reaching the ninja summit (no relation to the pirate summit) he will see a message inscribed into the ground by God himself, so large and of such a scale that it can only be seen from the highest peak. ANd that message, to both him, and you, dear readers, shall be this.

Juju doesn't understand sarcasm, context, or storytelling (look at his repeated defense of Sasuke not being out of chakra against Deidara) and can't tell the difference between when we're throwing around stupid theories for fun, and when we're having serious discussion about what we actually think will come next. (But we did predict the 10 tails in the moon a year before Kishi revealed it. And that WAS a joke… sad that it came true.)

How will they respawn? Where does it say in the manga that they respawn after they die? If a Tail beast dies, it's dead - which is why Kyuubi hated the fact that his survival depended on Naruto's survival. Also, if the 10 tails, their origin dies, then they will too (well, they'll already be dead when the 10 tails comes around, since they would all have to fuse or w/e in order to summon the 10 tails to begin with). The Sage of 6 paths couldn't kill the 10 tails so he split it up into 9 beasts, but if someone can kill the 10 tells, well then, the 9 beasts are pretty much dead too.

sihhh Go read what the 4th said please. They will respawn. Why do you think the 1st didn't just kill them all? well idk about the 10 tails dying. If the 10 tails die, they will probably die, but Naruto isn't strong enough to kill the 10 tails. Even rikudo(God) couldn't.

My stance was, and still is, that the secondary characters aren't going to do anything of substance. Guy didn't do much, he fought for ten pages against a character that had already been killed. And I just gave you a list of 20 more MAIN characters off the top of my head, that still aren't doing anything.

Substance. Emotion. Growth and development. A character appearing on panel is not the same as them doing anything or being relevant.

Sadly, that EXACT same setup was perfect and geared to go during the Pain conflict, where each body had their own strengths and weaknesses. Woulda been a great time for that exact same scenario.

Will they all be blessed with incredibly short, emotionless, meaningless fights against enemies that were already killed, as Guy was?

Especially Hinata, given that she confessed her love to Naruto 80 chapters ago now and he's ignored her since then? I'm curious as to when these things will happen, now that you claim to have won the argument about the secondary characters doing anything.

I think Kishi needs to reread his own manga to remember these things.

He doesn't get instant regeneration all the time. He had a broken hand and his whole body had to be bandages Op style to get better after the Sasuke fight. He was also sleeping for 3 days because he was so injured. I also think Naruto doesn't know how that he has to heal himself now since the Kyuubi isn't mixed with his chakra anymore.

hell no, anyone with half a brain knows how naruto will end.

the 10 tails and all the beast or whatever are going to all be destroyed and gone for good. now none of the countries have their nuclear weapons to hold over another.

no more generations having the pain of growing up and being jinchuriki and the isolation and all the fighting over them and so on. its common sense.

They will just respawn again. Naruto isn't fighting the 10 tails, i repeat Naruto isn't fighting the 10 tails. They are ninjas and will fight regardless, Naruto will sign peace treaties and shit and gain the trust of the other Kages.

#2 was hoping finally get bee captured and his tailed beast out. i mean sooner or later the 9 tails going to be gathered so that naruto can fight the 10 tails or wahtever, so lets get that started. i mean damn, it has for the last 100 chapters seemed like we should be ending naruto any day now, and yet it keeps seeming like that white light gets further and further away as we walk towards it.

fight the 10 tails? Naruto ain't fighting the 10 tails. Naruto dies in a neno second, infact the 10 tails ignores him and walks away. Naruto is coming to a end, which means around 2 years in manga terms. The war will probably start in a few months and or so.
