One of my all-time favourite "attacks" are "Bara Bara Emergency Escape" (dunno the japaneese name for it and I think it's anime only but OMG I laughed when Buggy did that in his fight with Luffy :P).

How do we know Log Poses even work in The New World?

I'd say Luffy will probably combine Gear 2nd and 3rd in the future (speed + power), and that would be Gear 4th.
Although I don't think he'll need it for a while, maybe in the final battle? :P

Will be cool to see how Teach intend to fight Ace.
If he has a way to hit Ace (he's a logia user after all) Teach will probably somewhat "win".
But I've got no clue what Ace will do when/if he looses. It doesn't seem to be in he's character to run away. The "bait"-scenario seems likley.
