Zoro Goon was going to join regardless, and never made it as a goon in the manga. Where as Vivis character changed into a princess after she was already introduced.

Never heard about Jinbei was supposed to be an arc boss though, do you have any quote to share on that?

I've been spending the last few hours trying to find the interview where I read about Jinbe being an arc boss but I can't for the life of me find it. I'll just have to concede that point.

And nah, it's not the whole "A previous boss will join" thing. I recall it standing out to me because I sincerely didn't believe that Jinbe was ever intended to be an enemy and it took me by surprise because it implied that he may not have been planned as a nakama. But seeing as how I can't find the interview, it's moot.

I think Vivi starting of as miss wednesday, a common goon and Oda just changing her into the princess Alabasta is against her joining, id like to believe Oda was already set on all crew members way back since east blue and he wouldnt change them a lot except for some minor details.

I'm more concerned about what's going on right now. Hence why I said the "X" mark would be a retcon "hint". It wasn't actually a hint at first but if she re-joins, all of a sudden it is.

Had a little thought about Doffy's "Throne Wars" speech recently. What if what Doffy was referring to wasn't the war to determine the Pirate King but instead the war to see who controls the entire world? I found it odd that he mentioned the marines and Revos who have no stake in the Pirate King title. When he mentions there is an "empty throne" what if he's in fact referring to THE Empty Throne (Im's throne)? And is instead implying that whoever discovers Raftel and the True History and fulfills the Will of D (more than likely the descendants of the Ancient Kingdom from the Void Century) they'll then wage a "Throne War" against the World Government (Throne of the Pirate King/Inheitor of the Will of D Throne vs Empty Throne/Im-sama). Therefore, the Celestial Dragons will be "dragged down".

With the recent revelation of Rox and his ambition to rule the world… It could be that those of the D. clan are the true heirs to the world and thus have a right to the throne of the world. That's why evil D's like Rox and Teach are so eager for that type of world conquest. They both study history and are familiar with the world's taboos and probably know that the D's are the true heirs. Eh... Just some food for thought.

My money is still on Vivi. Too many tea leaves for me to ignore:

• Sai and Leo have a piece of Luffy's vivre card
• The Grand Fleet's big incident is happening soon according to Oda
• The "Alabasta incident" we learned of recently
• The Elder Stars' considering Cobra a traitor
• Im-sama having her picture
• Robin's missing number chapter
• A cheeky retcon "hint" (or to be fair, a full-fledged intended hint) of the "X" mark meaning "10" and thus 10th nakama

There's a whole lot of material that's difficult to ignore although hey, it could be all for naught. I'm willing to bet money she eventually deciphered 3D2Y as well despite not being there. Toss her a logia and she should be fine to return.

Plus, it would be fun to see Brook's reaction to his discovery that she once tried to kill Laboon for food.

Rebecca is an undefeated gladiator and Vivi has never won a fight ever. Rebecca is no question a more powerful warrior.

Personally, I'd like for Zoro to take out Weevil in a 1-on-1.

I think Luffy should graduate from Warlords. Let the rest of his crew get some credibility.

Guess this gives credence to the theory that Luffy will be the Emperor and Zoro, Sanji an Jinbe will be the "Monster Trio".

Luffy just put A LOT of distance between him and his crew.

I wonder if Germa might end up getting what they wanted from Big Mom after all, only it'll be through Luffy instead. (Reputation of an emperor?)
