I would honestly have preferred Cracker to remain in his original form. I also can't understand why all of a sudden we get a time jump. Maybe the battle should have been concluded beforehand? The US is the only civilized country in the world that has this problem. Everyone else has better gun control laws and they don't have public shootings twice a week.

I'm not excusing anything. I'm saying even if the congress were hellbent on stopping the peliferation of machine guns, it wouldn't change the status quo. Of course you shouldn't be able to acquire these type off weapons like it's nothing, naturally there should be regulations and tests that stops people like this from acquiring such guns. The problem is that these weapons are easily accesible even if they aren't sold legally. So what I'm saying is that even if the government were to really step up on this issue, these guns would still be around, these shootings would still happen and it would take years, if not decades to stop the peliferation of such firearms.

It's pretty much routine for him at this point. But nothing could be done regardless of congress. These weapons are easily accessible, they are going to be used no matter how many regulations are placed on them.

Well once you have the king in your pocket these kind of things change, I guess, so it's not just sexism for its own sake but it indicates something more political out of him.

The High Sparrow will definetly turn on the crown with force the moment they feel they have the power to do so. As far as the powerstruggle between the religious and the profane, the High Sparrow has defeated the crown in every conceivable way. Tommen has basically lost all his power and without a proper Hand to clean up this mess, the Sparrows already have all the power and have technically defeated monarchy as it is. Tommen is already in the HS palm.

At this point, not even killing every sparrow in the city would suffice, simply because the Sparrows are true champions off the people.

I'm feeling the same way. I really worry that we'll get a rushed ending, the director basically has to spend these coming few episodes ''putting out fires'' so to say. Right now it seems like the only reason the season ( and damn near by extention the series as a whole ) hasn't ended is to pad out run time.
