Finished my Sabo Hat finally, now to work on the rest of the costume!!

Hi everyone

I am in the begining process of working on a film piece and it is about one of my favourite movies (no not Star Wars or Wayne's World) The Blair Witch Project. Not just a great film but also has such a rich and interesting history to it, found within the related comics, Books, and mockumentaries. My goal is to create either a 1 hour piece or 4 15 min pieces about different subjects found within the movie. I plan this to be a mixed media piece that will include animation, live action shots and music.

Right now I am in the intial planning stages and location shoots for the live action shots (As being in england I cannot get myself to Burkitsville lol) but their is "One Piece" of help I could request from any fans of the film or even if you haven't seen it. For research I am wanting to get a collection of general reactions to the movie and related subjects, it would only take a few minutes to fill out the questions and would be greatly appreciated.

haha I guess so, but distribution in the uk for things has never been a strong one, I mean remember the Malaysian english dubs they brought out for movies 1-4 of DBZ terrible. But anyway back to one piece I think that the collection of the voyages would be a better plan than the individual voyage boxes.

I totally agree with you on this, its abit silly really because (Now I am gonna sound like a old guy now) today's DBZ audience with disposable income are only connected to DBZ through the video games they have been releasing. The show is not on any UK channels anymore, so there isn't a demand for this show and to base DBZ boxset sales to bring in One Piece is stupid, and most of us (Myself included) have shelled out big money to get the boxsets have have been released in the past (Dragonboxes oh yeah ;) love it) Damn Manga Entertainment sort yourself out!

Well it has come again and again another amazing One piece Cosplay group is being planned. Myself I am going to be doing my Buggy Impel Down costume from last year (I had planned and started a Piccolo costume but money and time was not on my side).

I am going to be altering the buggy costume a little bit, with extra additions, mainly I am going to make the wig better and also include Buggy's axe he has strapped to his back. I got myself an inflatable one from eBay and I'm gonna paint it . I am also going as The Riddler for Sunday, for his costume I have taken some references from a lot of different Riddlers to produce this so far, I just need to edit the waist to have green instead of black.

That is true, though myself and Karis usually get there at 730 so we are lining up for 2 or more hours even though we have already got out tickets

There is always loads of one piece cosplayers, there is even a thriller bark group on sunday so an ace would be loved! I remember an awesome Whitebeard from last May.

OMG Aukn havent been on there for like years, yes I used to go on there lol. But I got old and not with it, being in a forum top list for years then dissapearing into the shadows lol

Well it's nearly that time again, Expo time. For this one I have decided not to do a One Piece character…. :ninja:. I was planning Kumacy but time decided not for that so I went with this guy instead.

So far so good, I already had a scouter and I got the gloves and Boots so now it is just working on the armour. It has been really fun to make it and now all I need to do is do a little ginyu force logo and its done.

Now back to One Piece News expo wise, there is going to be a Thriller Bark cosplay group on the sunday. So peeps going to the Expo then get your cameras out and ready to snap them up.

Had a bit of trouble with the shoes but it is sorted now, i am really looking forward to the Expo let the 28th roll on forward

Now my initial shock is a bit gone i will talk about it. Luffy's reaction and waking is something I was not expecting now, I thought Oda would have another chapter of what was going on in the world. This completely blew me away, the body language and the way in which Oda has drawn Luffy as well as Jimbei are just beautiful.

I know that speculation and wanting to try and figure out what is going to happen next is what everyone is thinking at the moment (myself has done kind of weird letter based equations on tones of scrap paper trying to plan out a sort of reunion of the straw hats ) I just can't wait for each chapter every week, sucks no chapter next week but hey all the wait makes it more awesome!

Just a heads up to any of my fellow UK peeps out there who are going to the London MCM EXPO, there is going to be a One Piece cosplay group and we have got quite of few fans cosplaying as their favourite one piece characters (Including Ivankov which will be interesting ). Myself I will be going as Buggy in his impel down prision uniform. I decided to do something simple and easy to walk around in (In the past I have done costumes which i have regretted to wear after a few hours like Shredder last year and Kid Buu before that lol). I am from the south east Sittingbourne the nearest shop that sells manga is Canterbury lol. They have One Piece volumes 1-4 :happy:

I'm liking this because for everyone who has got into One Piece during the Water 7 arc can watch this film to get the "Jist" of it. Like the Dragonball movies helped me understand more of the story before I saw the series.

But the movie aniamtion looks different for nearly every movie, movie 6' animation was the best I felt,

The Ladies love pink drinks (Plus I had some left over paint from the Buu costume mixed it will some glue and left it to dry and harden )

Well I have been cosplaying for 4 years now, I usally go to the London MCM Expo which is a twice a year convention at the Royal victoria docks. It is not just an anime convention, it has stuff about comics, films, card games (YUGIOH!), PS2/XBOX360/WII games, collectors (One guy in May this year had a giant power rangers collection). It's a reall fun time every year I go, I have photographs of my coplay costume from this year. PLease take a look and give me some feedback please.

First I have my cosplay from May
KID BUU

This was a fun costume to make, about 4 months of making the costume. The head itself was a spiderman plastic halloween mask I found in a pound shop. Then lots and lots of papermache and cardboard turned it into Buu's head. His antena is made from cardboard tubes and a egg shell.

Next we have from this October
SANJI

I didnt want all my hair blonde so I only dyed bits of it blonde. It still give the effect of all my hair being blonde, but really isnt shown in this photograph. This costume didnt take very long as it was just sewing buttons onto a jacket. I then made the love heart from a eye patch and some double sided tape on the inside.

The plate was fun to make I put Pocky on the plate at the cponvention and offered it to people hehe.

So these are my two from this year. For next year I am plannign something to do with these things I got for my birthday. (Angry face lol)

Hi everyone

My name is JAKEMAN and I love One Piece, I really got into it when I saw episode 257, and I loved the storyplot of Sanji, Franky and Sogeking going through each train carrirage (That would make a good level or story mode for a game wouldnt it hehe). I have just recently started to get the translated manga from my local bookshop, I have 1-12 but I am missing 7,8 and 10 hehe. I live in England so you have to really look for One Piece stuff.

I am a proud owner of "Colour Walk 3" and the Animation log book, which came with a music Cd and a big pic of Ace for some reason. Well anyway I hope to meet new friends here and learn more about one of my favourite shows.
