There were quite a few things that varied from the manga in this episode. Misa's photo shoot was added, and in turn, a bunch of the things in Rem's conversation with Jealous, and while telling Misa about Jealous, were cut out.
yeah, I noticed that, but that one scene seemed to stand out for me. One another note:

Some of my friends like anime, others…not so much.
My parents don't really care for it either way. They don't watch it, but they don't tell me not to watch it either. My mom likes some OSTs though, and she has me burn her CDs of them sometimes.
Hmm…now that I think about it, didn't they also take out the song from the end of episode 9 where Light is pissed and then laughs maniacally (starts at 18:43 in the TW episode)?

but IMO, the best song is Low of Solipsism (that, and L's Theme)

Um, the start sounds like the lead into 'L's B Theme', but it goes on for longer, with no hard rock guitar riffs. I'm surprised it's not there, 'cause it features in pretty much every Death Note episode aired so far.

Throes, Inferno: I don't know what you guys mean… The Cutie Wagon is the Cutie Wagon, and the (alleged) Harlem Dango is the Harlem Dango (a boat which was created only for the anime). The Harlem Dango is only used twice in the episode, once to list them as the third ranked ship behind the Porche and Nami, and next to explain that they are setting a trap with the Tavern Boat. If you think there's a mistake, please tell me
I know that they are two different ships. However, I think that it should be called Harem Dango, seeing as how it's a boat filled with "beautiful women." Harem is defined as "A group of female sexual partners for one man." Taking this into account, it seems to fit. Also, If you listen to the announcer say the name at 7:20, it sounds like he's saying "harlem" because of the extended syllable he makes in the middle, but if you listen closely, it really seems like he says "harem." just pointing it out >_>
So I'm guessing no new episode this week?
Also, what is the status of the Anime soundtrack? It should be out, but Nipponsei doesn't have it yet, or The Last Name soundtrack, or The Last Name tribute CD, which are all out in Japan.

The only time I ever watched OP out of order was when I first found Gerusama's subs. I downloaded them all in mass amounts, but some finished earlier than others, and I was really impatient at the time. IIRC I watched it 231, 233, 232, 235, 234, 236, 237 and then in order from then on and before…heh heh, not very smart, especially considering what goes on in those eps.
I am wondering, does anyone have Death Note's "epic" music for dowload? It is the one that plays in almost every episode at the good parts, with the chorus and God like feeling to it. I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

ah yes, excellent. I got chills watching this scene. I like the way the manga translated Light's line more though…"It's because...of Kira." adds an ominous feel without him actually telling her. ah well, hopefully TW will translate it better. 
and did anyone notice that in the 3 second flashback of Penber, his signature now says "Raye Penber," like in the manga, instead of Ray Penbar.

Despite a few scenes switched around a little and a handful of small things left out, the anime is going by the manga word for word.
yeah, all that's different is that flashbacks aren't flashbacks anymore, they occur when they're supposed to. can't tell if that's a good or a bad thing for now…
