RE: Banning foreign IP addresses?
Is this verified? IE: Did you actually look at the web servers logs or do you run a web stats program? Or are you just assuming if someone is a guest they are from japan?
Personally, I never use cookies, or store passwords in my browser. So unless I want to post something on any forum, I'm never logged in and shown as a guest. I would imagine this is common. Especially with the recent warning of the bugs found in firefox and all java enabled browsers that can let web sites steal all your browsers passwords.
Anyways, the opening post seemed to indicate that no actual statistic where looked at. Nor has any post since mentioned any type of actually tracing of japan ip's etc. So do you know for a fact everyone on here as a guest, is (as you guys put it) Just a bunch of leechers. Like you even host the raws and people are downloading them on your bandwidth or something. Hell, you guys don't even get the raws or the spoilers. You just provide a place to post the links and discuss OP themes.
Personally I don't see how just forum admins would know where the traffic is coming from, unless you have shell access to the server logs, or a web traffic stats package was installed.
Just curious. Since the tone of the posts don't convey any certainty. More of a "it must be group X" that is the problem type attitude.

RE: Re: Lag in releases
you know I have always wondered but does
anyone know the history of gerusama?how they came to be?
why they split up?
etcI thought they were a really good group, besides small things that some ppl complained with the yellow font but thats who made them who they were.
as far as I am concerned they originally subbed the filler before water 7, then subbed the last episode of the davy back fight before balf got to finish. then got kinda close to Enies lobby before ADC slowly took over.
Gerusama started the group himself because he loved OP and at the time no one was doing the new releases. It was also a way for him to work on his english and japanese skills. After he did eps 219 all by himself and started to do 220, Cheezewiz joined him to help with doing After Effects and typesetting etc. Babyvash joined shortly thereafter to help with the typesetting, fonts, etc. Not sure where the timer joined in, as he never joined irc or any discussion groups. He only had contact with Geru. Can't remember when he left either, But I timed a few eps until we got a new timmer. There was also someone who helped Geru with the english wording, since he is from norway and english isn't his first language. But I don't remember her name. I think they released 10 to 15 episodes like that before I joined. Gerusama was a great guy who showed me what fansubbing was all about.
The group mainly fell apart because 1) there was every only 3-5 of us. And of that only Gerusama and myself where around regularly. I have a habbit or picking up and going travelling alot without notice. So that left Geru to struggle through most of it himself. After a while he also had other commitments that he wanted to do. So he took a few month break. He then tried to reform the group and get it going again. But by that time most of us had moved on to other things. So I think he just got tired of it and left to spend more time having a good time in RL. And since other groups where also starting to do the new releases (adc) it wasn't really a needed service anymore.
No idea, never heard from him again after he left. But the blame lies with everyone in the group. It was more we all let geru down then him just leaving.
As far as the forming a new group that Babyvash and Murasaki where pushing for seemed pointless to me. Since it would once again involve to many members (including myself) who where never around enough to make it worth while. Murasaki would have just replaced geru as translator, but all the other problems would have still been there.
Personally I don't bother doing fansubs anymore. If I can't promise consistent availability to a group to do whats needed, why waste their time and mine. Although I have been playing with the idea of doing up a web site to explain and teach all those interested in how to make fansubs. From AE and maya work, to encoding, timming, ass/ssa scripting, adding hardubs, etc. But who knows if anyone would be interested in it.

RE: Deepest Apologies from Staff
I hardly think having an opposing opinion is considered flaming/spamming. :I
Well seeing as there are only 2 sides to this. You thought it was funny, or you didn't. Just how many times can you post the same opion without it becomming spam?
While reading all the pages of this thread, it became apparent that alot of the people here post the same thing every page almost. So how many times do you need to express your opion on the same topic, in the same thread?
But whatever, I don't need or expect an answer, as I doubt i will ever bother to read it. I've expressed my opion of what I thought of another forum crash as a joke. And it seems this thread is about argueing if it was funny or not. Not expressing your opion on it.
-
RE: Deepest Apologies from Staff
@CurryGonzalez:
I'm just bored of these people who are whining all the time. I mean, it's humans you are talking about.
You are expecting them to be serious, mature and responsible all the time, even in April's fool day. If I would be them, I would have trash this forum full of ungrateful users that are complaining all the time and live a peaceful life.
Judge their sense of judgement? I say judge your own sense of humour.
I'm rather borred of these spam/flame posts by members like you. Just how many times have you posted in the thread now? I thought this was a thread for thoose who where annoyed about this bad taste joke to express their opions. Not to agrue with people who don't share your opions on the topic.
I read your opion on the topic, pages and pages ago. So why do you(and these others that have posted 10+ msg on this thread) feel the need to spam this thread with how you think everyone who doesn't agree with you is wrong?
The last few posts since I posted my opion(and the tone of this post as well) is exactly what I'm talking about when I say the level of this forum is slipping into the childish and immature community that most forums fall prey to.
-
RE: Deepest Apologies from Staff
Its truly the end of the world.
I guess to all the forum trolls that visit forums hourly or daily it was. To others like me who just drop in occasionally it was not.
Seeing as this forum seems to have problems every few months/weeks with either sql errors, host changes, crashes etc. I don't see how staging another forum problem is suppose to be funny. And the way it was handeled, and with all the posts from the immature users, it just further reinforces fears that this forum to is slipping into the childish and immature community that most forums fall prey to.
Just because someone say's sorry for a bad decisiion and is forgiven, doesn't mean that the faith in their judgement is not shaken. Like in all communities, the tone and actions are set by the examples of those in authority. So it comes as no shock after learning the admins mindset durring this incident, (and the idea that banning members is funny?) that so many members did and continue to do nothing but spam posts and flames.
-
RE: Deepest Apologies from Staff
A Joke? Are not jokes suppose to be funny? All this really showed to me is the level of maturity the admins here have if they find such a juvenile thing as even remotely funny.

RE: [ADC-Elites] One Piece 292
And I never got why sub groups never just made the opening in super duper high quality, and then plopped it onto the front(and the ending onto the end) of each episode, it should be easier than re-subbing and doing kareoke on everything.
Because the intro isn't always in the same place in the anime. Sometimes it is at the start, other times it's played after 1-2 mins of the anime. And once the karaoke is scripted, it just a matter of adjusting the ass/ssa scripts timming to resynch the karaoke to where it plays in the intro. Something that takes all of 1-2 seconds to do.
As far as ADC goes. How about you thank them for all the episodes you got to watch without any effort or work on your part. Rather then complaining that your not getting your free fansubs. What exactly have the people who are complaining contributed to the fansub community? Other then their whines and moans.

RE: Gerusama Episode problem
I was under the impression that most HDTV broadcasts were 24fps all the way through, although I could be wrong.
I have no clue what the frame rate is on HTDV streams outa japan are. I haven't bothered with trying to capture japan shows since FujiTV's channel was removed from the satilites international channels. That get sent to NA. But the HDTV white paper states HTDV streams are 60fps. 2x the old 30fps on analog streams.
I've been having the frame problem with the episodes from 232-239.
How can you send me this episodes? I really appreciate the big info and help, Hopeless ^_^; and everyone that post here to help out :). I didnt knew that Gersusama had 2 version of some episodes. The only episodes this was done to was 292-294. As a test by Gerusama to see about smoothing out the intro animations. It was only those 3 episodes and was stopped after them. As far as the episodes, private msg me and we can work something out. Or just wait, KF are at 220(next release) so it wont be long till they release those episodes.

RE: Gerusama Episode problem
You shouldn't need to adjust any of the default settings for the codec's and apps cccp installs. Is this happening for all epsisodes? or just certain ones?
There where a few episodes that Gerusama encoded at 60fps. So it might be that your pc just can't handle that frame rate for thoose few episodes. If that is what the problem is, i still have both the 60fps and the 30fps versions for those few episodes, and can easily send em to you.EDIT: 232, 233, 234 of Gerusama's releases where encoded at 60fps. Both 30 and 60fps versions where released, but you might have the 60fps version, and that frame rate needs a fair amount of cpu/gpu power. If your pc has problems with hdtv resolutions and framerates, it will have a problem with 60 fps encodes as well. (HDTV streams are 60fps, but are usually cut down to 25/30 fps when encoded, even if they keep the higher resolutions.)
And before people comment, the raws and htdv raws that are at 120fps, are not a true 120fps, it's just padded to 120fps to remove the problems of encoding a vfr source to a cfr codec(variable/constant frame rate) and trying to fit 2 different frame rate sources into 1 container, while retaining smooth animation. IE, the cgi(endings/intros/certain cgi'd effects) are made at 25fps, while the main animation of the show is encoded at 30fps. Anyways, theres a huge difference in a true 60fps/120fps encode and a file that has been padded to 120fps.

RE: 301 Script - Vegapunk
Thanks for the scripts guys. Any chance of using another tracker for the HD raws? That NyaaTorrents site is messed, can't get that download script to work. And I don't know why I would donate to a tracker I can't even download torrents it tracks. Hell even it's forum registration doesn't work. I've try'd both firefox and IE on 2 different pc's.

RE: Sanji should have hit smoker.
Hehehe… Tjuvstaden would be ThiefCity in direct translation. Funny swedish people...
Rouge is just another word for thief. Historically," rouge" was consistantly used as the descriptive word to name a thief or his/her proffession. Only in the latter 1/2 of the 20th century (and) in North America has the word thief, risen to dominance over the word rouge.

RE: Request for better fonts
For god's sake just watch it at your computer if it's that much of a pain. I really hate it when people whine about the fonts all the time. It's a good font, and besides, whenever I burn stuff to DVD via the xvid codec the thing gets all out of sync.
- Did what i write sound in any way shape or form like a whine or a complaint? and 2) Why would i whine about my own groups work that i was part of producing?
And Gerusama will not have the problem of idiots complaining about simple things such as the fonts. They will, however, have a huge problem of their works being plaigarized by idiots ripping off their subs and claiming those subs as their own work (of the idiots, not GS).
Do you make quotes of post before even finnishing reading them? The very next sentences explain the same point, duh.
-
RE: Request for better fonts
There is always going tobe a problem with hardsubs and trying to make the font readable on dvd/tv's and make them as unobtrusive as possible for pc viewing. You iether have to make the choice of what format you want to support. Or try and find a happy medium on size and font, that works well for both. Subs that are easily readable on a tv, are really large looking when viewd with a pc. And the choice was made to go with pc viewing, and leave as much of the raw video displayable as possible for quality reasons.
Personally I think the best solution is to release in softsub format. With raw and subs placed in a .mkv container. And just include 2 subtitle files. One formated for PC viewing, the other unformated for use with tv(low res/sized monitors/tv's).
But of course you run into the inevitable debate about ppl stealing and usen your sub files for the timming or translation. And alot of ppl don't want to do that. Thus the use of hardsubs on video's.
Buttom line, becuase of the differance between a tv and a monitor. Hardsubs are always iether chosen to be used with only 1 viewer in mind. (tv or monitor) Or you go with a size/font that doesn't look great on iether, but is readable on tv, and as unobtrusive as possible on a monitor.
-
RE: Which Software is used?
The easiest way to add subs that give the same video quality as far as the overlay placement would be with the virtualdub(mod) pluggin textsub.
I'd reccomend .ass(advanced sub station) format over the older .ssa(sub station alpha) format. Since it has more features then the old ssa format. And almost all of the subtitle(freeware) have apps supported it for ages.
Some commen subtitle apps are:
Aegisub
Medusa
Sabbu
substation alpha
Subtitle workshop.Personally I only ever use subtitle apps for creating the timming file. Actually placeing the subtitle into it or adding karaoke code was always done with a file viewer(notepad if you dont have any better txt editors).
And as far as how gerusama added the subtitles to the video. They where added in with the final_encode avisynth script at the same time afx overlays etc where being done.

RE: Untitled
I have a feeling we won't find out what they're talking about until this "Pirates' Summit" thing, though. Which I desperately hope is in the next storyarc.
There has never been any mention of a "Pirates' Summit" or any pirate meeting. The whole "Pirates' Summit" or meeting of pirates came about due to ppl reading/translating wrong what Ace said to Luffy when Ace left Arabasta.
What ACE said was,(not verbatim)…. lets meet at the pirates summit. meaning the next time they meet they will both be in the upper echelon or at the "summit" of the pirates rankings. Not at a pirate summit or meeting of pirates.
Least thats how it was explained to me, and the info came from dythim so i tend to think his transaltion of it is correct.
-
RE: Hmm!
Additionally, there's no way out of Grand Line except through Reverse Mountain or Marieoja. Unless you're suggesting the Straw Hats navigate the Calm Belts, which is likely impossible.
I don't see how transversing the calm belts would be such a difficult task for thoose prepared for it, or with the propper vehicles. IE: We have seen that both MilHawks and Ace have small boats that used non-wind propulsion. Crossing the calm belt wouldent be an issue for them. Nor would the large sea kings that inhabit the areas.
I look at the calm belts in the same was as a lock on a door. A deterent for the honest. Thoose with some skill/knowledge and power could easily cross them. But to the large majority of ppl they are uncrossable.
And has been previously stated. Others have left the GL without reaching the end. So theres obvioulsy many ways out.
So, telling the world the Marines let a new criminal on the loose when they are likely to never hear of that criminal and are better left ignorant is pretty dumb.
The idea that wanted posters are NOT globally distributed is just plain silly. And so is your flawed idea that because a criminal isn't in marine custody, they would cover up that fact, and not tell the general population to be on the lookout for them.
Following your logic, anytime police or marines put out an APB or a wanted poster looking for a criminal it is …..... "pretty dumb" because "they(worlds ppl) are likely to never hear of that criminal and are better left ignorant"
Are you serious? I can't think of anything to say in respounce to your thoughts on how the marines (or any police force in general) handles wanted criminals without being insulting to you. So I will stop here.

RE: The problem with Franky joining.
I don't think that this "dream" discussion can concludes that Franky will join or not. Robin joined and we haven't a clue about her dream… and after Oda made it clear for us.
AHHH but therin lies the problem. We know frankys dream. And it doesn't need or require the SH's help, protection, journey to help fulfill it.(other then the money he stole. And I hardly think the SH look on him stealing the money as "helpfull" Regardless if its helpfull when alls said and done) In Fact, just the oppisite. Sailing around fighting the WQ would just delay or hinder his dream.
EDIT: The entire OP story is driven by ppl and the dreams they have. Everythings focused on them fufilling thier dreams. The underlying reason why the current members are in the SH is to help fufill thier dreams.
-
RE: The problem with Franky joining.
Well, he'd have to fix the ship, and maybe upgrade it to meet new challenges in the Grandline. Like I said, no one knows what's out there, maybe Franky's first draft ship won't be strong enough. You can't just build a ship and know that it will be strong enough to reach the end of the Grandline–few ships ever reach there.
It fit's well enough in the SHs dream motif. After all every member isn't always chasing there dreams at all times. Hell, what has Sanji done about All Blue lately, or Chopper about his paneca? However, he know that these at least may lie at the end of the Grandline , Raftel. If Franky's ship needs to reach the end of the world, then he suddenly has as much reason as the rest of them to go to Raftel.
I'm not saying Franky wouldent be a useful member of the crew. As far as his initial job of shipwright, They need one and Fanky would fill the role perfectly. As well as being another strong fighter to add to the crew.
BUT. My point is, His dream is more in line with Vivi's dream. Once accomplished they continue on with thier lives. They don't join the SH crew. All the SH crews have dreams they have yet to achive.
Luffy: To be Pirate King. –-> Lots of work and effort for improvements and strength needed still.
Zoro : Same as Luffy, Lotta effort and work yet to get to the level he needs.
Nami: Dream is to sail around the world and draw a map of said world.
Ussop: Certianly on his way to becoming a stron warrior or the sea. But like Luffy and Zoro, lotta work and effort yet to be done.
Sanji: Searching for "all blue" Needs to sail with the SH to find it. Sinces its most likely at the end of the Grand Line.
Chopper: Same as the rest, still working on his dream.
Robin: Has to make it to the end of the Grand Line to finnish her work:Franky: To BUILD a ship stong enuff to sail around the world.
Your the one adding on to his dream your thoughts that he needs to travel with the ship to the end of the world to accomplish his dream. Frankys dream is like Vivi's
Vivi: Save her country, stop the civl war.
War was stopped her dream accomplished. She left the ship.
Franky: (IF hes built a ship) SHips built, his dreams accomplished, stays at W7 or goes somewhere with his family/gang.
I don't see Frankys dream being helped or acomplished or in ANY way improved by joining the SH's.
And regardless of all the ppl wanting fanservice done and haven franky join the crew. His Dream doesn't "fit" with the other crew members. Even if the ship isn't built yet. How doesn sailing around on a pirate ship with the SH bring him any closer to fufilling his dream?
-
RE: The problem with Franky joining.
He could be building a ship while he has away after leaving on the train. And no, Iceburg can't be building the ship, where has he had the time? It would take weeks to build a good ship, and he just met the SHs days ago. Plus, Iceburg and many of the shipwrights at Water 7 had been busy bodyguarding Iceburg and got injured by the CP9 recently.
Franky's probably already built a ship, he's had the time of build it if he started before the SHs even arrived on Water 7. Come to think of it, how long was Franky gone on the sea train anyway?
And going with this would forfil the second requirement of his dream. He wants a ship that can reach the end of the world. Even if he builds a great ship, he won't know if can reach the end of the world if he doesn't go himself. After all, no one know what's on the way to Raftel.
And that is exactly my point of why Frankys dream doesn't "fit" with the rest of the SH's.
If he's already built his ship and fufilled his dream of building a ship strong enuff to sail to the end of the Grand Line. Then what more does he have to strive for? What improvements or strength/knowledge does he have yet to gain? Following your thoughts, He's just gotta hang around on the ship till he reaches the end of the Grand Line. Has nothing left to build or strive for.
It's like Luffy or Zoro already being the strongest or the best. And now they just have to kick enuff ppls asses to prove they are. No need to get stronger, No need to improve. They already would have fufilled thier dreams and its just a matter of proving thier strength to the rest of the world.
-
RE: The problem with Franky joining.
It'd be just stupid if Franky builds the ship and then another shipwright joins.
Well personally, I don't see how Franky can supply a ship. Just when has he had the time to build it? And if the money he took went to building the ship/buyin parts for it. He himself is not building it. He just drew and supplied the blueprints and money to build it. So why exactly would it be "stupid" for someone else to maintain it?
Looking at it reasonably, Iceberg is probably the one building them a new ship. 1) he knows they need one. 2) he owes them. 3) Hes ahd the time to build it. If you think about it, everything would point to IB building the ship. The only reason ppl assume its Franky is cuz 1)The money he stole, what did it go towards? 2) His dream is to build one that is strong enuff to sail around the world.
So as I have said many times now. How would sailing around on a ship. bring him closer to his goal of actually building one? It's not like hes an apprentice and needs to gather skills and knowledge to buid it. And IF he has built it. He's accomplished his dream.
-
RE: The problem with Franky joining.
Franky's dream wasn't just to build a ship, but to build a ship that can reach the end of the world. He'd have to see Raftel to forfil that last part of the dream.
Actually, his dream was as you said, "to build a ship that can reach the end of the world." Not to "build a ship that can take him end of the world." He's a shipwright. Building the strongest ship humanly(cyborg?) possible. Is his dream. No where in the flashbacks or in his coversations did it ever imply HE had an interest in traveling to the end of the Grand Line.
Granted it's just sematics, And he could join to keep the ship repaired and able to reach the end. But in essence his dream would be accomplished when he finnished the ship. Just as with Vivi, Because the revolution ended. Doesn't mean there are no hard times and tought battles ahead to rebuild the country. But in essence the country was saved from bbqw's plans. Thus her dream was fufilled. As would Frankys be the momemnt the last nail was put into the ship.
But regardless, Frankly's dream doesn't fit in with the whole idea of becoming a SH member to fufill said dream. All the SH members joined to help fufill thier dreams, that they are still striving to do. Franky, just like Vivi, would basically have fufilled thier dream. (IF Franky gives them a ship) And if he doesn't, how does sailing around on a ship help him on his goal/dream to build one?
EDIT:
The ONLY way i can see Franky joining AND fufilling his dream. Is if the ship (hes going to supply) isn't finnished. But IS sailable. He could then join to finnish the ship as they sail around and pick up the needed parts.
But regardless, Frankys dream/hopes/goals, Doesn't really "fit in" in the same way as the others dreams do. In relationship to why they joined, and why they stay.
-
RE: The problem with Franky joining.
In all these posts concerning Franky joining the SH. The main overriding theme for becomming a SH seems to be ignored. That is they ALL have a dream they want to accomplish. And joining up with the SH is the best way to accompish it.
As I understand things, Frankys dream is to build the worlds strongest ship. And Paulie's dream hasn't been told(to my knowledge anyways). And Although joining the SH is a good excuse for Franky to get out from under the goverments boot heel. I Don't see how being on a pirate ship would help him to get closer to his dream of building a ship.
So for that reasons alone, I don't see Franky joining. Regardless of how well he would fit into the crew. How many hints, or how much speculation about how great a SH he would be is talked about. Iether in cannon(the manga) or on these boards.
IF Franky does supply the SH with a new ship.(a super strong ship) Then he has essentially made his dream come true. And has no reason to join the SH, other then material ones such as not getting caught be the WG. IF he does supply a new ship, then in essence he's like Vivi. Had a dream (in Vivi's case to save her country, in Frankys case to build his ship) And the SH helped them accomplish thier dream. They then continued on with thier lives.
But lacking a need to accomplish his dream. AND the need of strong friends like the SH to help accomplish that dream…... I honestly don't see him joining.
Even when Robin joined. She joined because Luffy refused to leave her behind and let her die,(giving up on her dream) So it was quite obvious that joining the SH was one of the ONLY ways she could persue her dream.
Franky's dream would be hindered more by joining a pirate crew and sailing around with the SH's. Then by actually going someplace where he can build a ship.

RE: Global Theory about One Piece and the Strawhat's Goals
Hahaha ChubbyChez, your theories crack me up.
And to be on topic: I don't think something actually made the grandline. It just is. Look at the planet here. Looks like lots of stuff is different from our planet :D
Of course it's not earth. But as far as the grandline being "made". I would have to disagree with you. There are alot of physical structures and hints in the story the leads me to think the entire planet has been re-engineered. Not created certianly. But deffinitly engineered on a large (grand) scale.
Take reverse mountian, as 1 physical element i cant see occuring naturally. And of course theres NO WAY the Gates of Justice are naturally occuring. And anyone capable of making something as big as the GoJ are. Could easily have re-engineered most of the planet. In fact the entire Grand Line might be nothing more then an egineered corridor to feed water/engery into whatever is on Raft.
But regardless of it's purpose. The planet itself has undergone major changes done by thoose from the past. At least IMO.

RE: Official Balf Discussion
what was that based off? if it was based off of movie 6 which they didn't sub, they just encoded and released then it really is a warped review. if it's based on the series then i guess we can only respect your opinion.
LOL, Acording to dythim, No fansub group on the planet will ever be as good as him and k-f. In his own words, every other group is just a bunch of "bastard groups". Heard this same BS and fear from him everytime another group does some OP subs.
Their encoding is nothing short of abysmal. The quality is awful, pixelated, and I could do better without using avisynth.
That has to be the funnyest statement I've heard from someone pretending to be a skilled encoder.. Like ripping and re-encoding from dvd's is hard lol. I always find it amusing when ppl who just rip from dvd's think of themselves as skilled encoders. Not to mention the refferance to avisynth. OOOO uses a frame server must be a leet encoder. Although avisynth is a powerful scripting lang. for post processing. It's hardly needed for ripping a dvd, re-encoding, adding logo's and hardsubs to a video stream. In fact, I will go so far as to state I can do the exact same level of quality with OR without avisynth. Since a frame servers true usefullness and strength has NOTHING to do with just re-encoding a clean dvd ripped stream. Without and filters, resolution changes, etc applied. Sure it can be used for such things, But it wont produce any better quality output then just usen vdub or vdubmod etc.
As far as the quality of the balf releases. They are quite passable for there intended purpose. And as I understood what i read off their web page, that purpose was just to fill the small gap that has never been subbed. Quality is well above the hk dvd rips that have been releases.
And as far as thoose who whine and complain about their releases and call them, amatuers(ish), what exactly have you ever created for free? Just to help out an anime community?
-
RE: K-F FBI Hoax
Good thing I wasn't gullible enough to fall for that. However, if it was something along the lines of the HK subbers trying to 'thin out' the competition, I'd think that it be more beliveable…
How would it thin out the competition? K-F are the only group I know of based in the USA. Balf and Gerusama are in Europe, where USA copyright laws don't apply. The only group that could have legal action taken against for violating the 4kids useage lic. or OP lic under US law, are K-F. Or at least the only group that lawsuits would have much luck in actually getting them to court. Seeing as they also run fileservers with the lic. material from edu accounts in the USA.
Bittorrent usage in most European countrys are not as strict as the USA. Take The Pirates Bay as a prime example. Go read the legal threats they get about the hosting LIC. BT torrents and their respounces to them. It's actually quite a funny read.
