"The First Investigation" was a really solid episode all round. As much as I been enjoying the show since Season 7 started bringing things back on track, I missed when episodes felt this full and compete with the idea they were going for.

RE: Pokemon Ultra S&M - Let's Minecraft Pikachu and Eevee Quest
Nah. I don't think that's the case though(them caving and wanting to show the the game is more than just a rehash). This kind of bomb isn't really new since they didn't the same exact thing before SM was out… Like, despite already revealing every single new Pokemon beforehand, they shoved in the fact that Red and Blue(Green) were in the game days before the game came out as a final sprinkle of fanservice. This reveal was most likely intended from the start and it doesn't really surprise me...
It's just... a weird practice Nintendo has been doing since the recent Smash bros. I mean, from a standpoint I "get it". But it does make me yearn for wanting surprises.
-
RE: Pokemon Ultra S&M - Let's Minecraft Pikachu and Eevee Quest
There's def some multiverse stuff going on, but I was hoping that… Lysandre would remain super fucking dead.
Besides that, while I'm pissed that Nintendo reveals the whole game before it's even out... This recent development I admit made me a tiny bit interested in this game. Especially since Team Rocket eventually coming back has been hinted at for very long time now.

RE: Pokemon Ultra S&M - Let's Minecraft Pikachu and Eevee Quest
There's one thing that has always bugged me. Why is Toxic, a poison type move, accessible for to many especies. Almost the entire roster can learn it.
If I remember correctly, the move itself isn't really poison that comes from Pokemon themselves, but rather a 400 year old ninja technique that was taught and passed down to them.
Koga explains this in one of the games. It's an entirely man-made concept. Pretty interesting, eh?
-
RE: Pokemon Ultra S&M - Let's Minecraft Pikachu and Eevee Quest
Geez. Even with Pokemon releases I'm never exited about, there's always atleast one thing that manages to pique my interest… And so far there's absolutely none.
So far it's..
-more ultra beast in rather generic looking "zones"(dubbed "regions" to sound grandiose) that are probably super tiny and solely meant for the UB encounters.
-a new team... yay? Rock wolf in another color?I don't know. I don't really mind missing out on a release, especially since I feel these "expansions" on previous releases to be geared more towards those that missed the games as they came out the first time... And heck, let them have fun with the same game that's only slightly better, I guess.
If anything, I'm more interested in what the new move tutor sets and small general changes bring to the next VGC tournament if the format is still as restrictive(Alola catches only and no Mega Stones). And I'm mostly speaking as a spectator that enjoys watching these things than playing it anymore. So I'm hoping the meta gets more exiting form this release.

RE: Grimdark Edgy Science Show (Rick & Morty Thread)
Six episodes in and this is kinda already feeling like the weakest season, despite the cool ideas and scenes here and there. Pickle Rick and the Premiere did feel the most complete… but the rest. There's something about the episode structure in general that bugs me. Like I don't always expect the three act structure to play out cleanly all the time since it's kind of a limited directing method to work with among so many others. But hmmm.
I can't really put my finger on why exactly these episodes don't flow too well for me. Even the set-pieces(locations visited) themselves tend to feel very... barren and less involved. Like they are less about the adventures and interactions within them, and exist more like backgrounds for the centric characters to constantly talk over. Like a sitcom or television drama with actors on a green screen projecting things that aren't even there.
But idk. It's far from bad episodes, but I'm certainly not feeling this season all that much.
-
RE: Grimdark Edgy Science Show (Rick & Morty Thread)
Hmmm. I don't know if this bothers anyone, but I felt like it's been a while since we had actual portal gun adventures through the multiverse/alt realities. Maybe the rules has become more complex since there's more overlap with planet hopping/space travel(or maybe there's a hidden reason why Rick doesn't do it often these days), but I feel the show became a little less unique when that became 90% of the episodes. Like its premise feels no different from Futurama at this point.
But, I been feeling this way since the previous seasons post S1…. so perhaps i should move on and go with the show's flow.

RE: Pokemon Ultra S&M - Let's Minecraft Pikachu and Eevee Quest
will this be the AU where Lillie shoots Lusamine with a gun?
I'm hoping it's one where she does not exist.
-
RE: Pokemon Ultra S&M - Let's Minecraft Pikachu and Eevee Quest
That was a disappointing BIG announcement. So.. A Sun and Moon cash-in, on the same hardware.
I still get it for the sakes of seeing how things changed in Aloha. Crossing my fingers Lily does not show up again and completely hijacks to story as "stand-in talkative MC".

RE: Satoshi Mizukami series thread
Looks like a new Mizukami series is out next month if I'm correct! Exited as hell for it regardless though!

RE: Gotta get back -Back to the past- SAMURAI JACK- Whachow
Of course, there's the whole thing of "If Ashi can travel through a portal she made, why didn't Future Aku pursue them into the past as well?"
Assuming the show uses the (rather lame BttF) paradox rules, maybe Aku didn't want to risk meeting himself and collapsing timespace entirely.
-
RE: Gotta get back -Back to the past- SAMURAI JACK- Whachow
I really wished the show didn't follow the whole awful parodox time travel rule that the Back the the Future movies are known for… because it's like... my least favorite approach at the concept(love the movie, but HATE its time travel rules). But that's me being picky over a time travel concept that's approachable to a general audience, so I'm not too mad over what happened. It's just a shame it didn't go in a more interesting direction.
As for the episode, it was satisfying. The way Aku set the stage for the whole episode was not a smart move, but it was great! And really meta! The final battle itself was also pretty intense to watch, although I felt it was holding back on the violence front. Not that I wanted it to be more brutal, but I felt like it wanted to got further but held itself back.
My gripes with the episode and well.. alot of the episodes after 3.. Was how clumsy and inconsistent Ashi was as a character. Her quick transition from being a sheltered killer without much knowledge of the outside world for 99% of her lifetime to "Jack's love interest" that seemed completely in sync with her emotions and sexuality wasn't a very pleasing one. And I felt like it only served as a motivation for Jack rather than something that felt natural. So yeah... Ashi is sweet and all, but the transition itself just soured her entire character arc for me.
Maybe this is cruel, but her "death" only got a "good fucking riddance"/"thank you" response from me.

RE: What are you Playing?
I've been playing through the Megaman Zero games upon realising I had the Collection in my backlog and figured why not. Finished the 4th and final entry recently and is now moving on to the XZ series just for a bit of closure.
The games themselves are HARD! Harder than I expected. It didn't help that I didn't have a clue how to increase my max health at all until the 4th game, but it was fun learning the bosses under those restrictions. The fights had a very mechanical and precise feel to them and it was just great spending a good amount of time on each for S-ranks.
My favorite of the four games was definately the 3rd one, if for it being the most polished of the games with the best presentation and overall musical score. The climax of that game left me in complete awe with feelings that remians lingering within me until now. Definitely playing this one again! Besides that, I liked what the first game did outside the weapon levelup system which is thankfully gone in the 3rd game. I felt like the rest of the games should have expanded on the ideas that the first game did since I found them very unique, especially the mission system in which you select from a list with a no idea which bosses you'd encounter. I felt like this approach made stages feel either more mysterious or tense since at times you'd have no idea when a boss would show up.
Now I'm playing through the XZ games! It's really good so far with changes I like and the return of the mission system from Zero 1.

RE: Steven Universe
Not that I don't believe it. I've had my suspicions since CN split the seasons and worded the show as being "renewed". Even more suspicious how they are choosing to drag out its airdate with hiatuses, bombs and eventually playing around with early digital distribution.
I just want to know where you are hearing this from. I've been seeing alot of people on my feeds talking about it lately, and I'm honestly not surprised or saddened one bit since it felt pretty much inevitable. I just want a source
-
RE: General Persona Thread
I've only done the first palace arc so far, and wow. I didn't realize there were translation errors. I just thought the dialogue sounded very straightforward and blunt without alot variance in word choices or structure(maybe this was the problem, but it didn't occur to me that they were until now)
Nothing that tatters my own enjoyment, however. It's certainly not engrish.

RE: Gotta get back -Back to the past- SAMURAI JACK- Whachow
Whoa dang. This episode makes me glad for marathoning the whole show. So many throwbacks.

RE: Adventure Time!
New mini series. It's called Elements.
Starts April 24th, although there might be news of CN releasing a physical version early(I'm just guessing based off CN's decisions lately)

RE: Star vs. The Forces of Evil
Gave the show second chance starting from the Season 1 finale and forward. At first, the show still maintained the weak writing that I always thought it had and pretty much it not doing enough with the whole "wacky multi-dimensional adventure" concept. But then came the "Ludo in the Wild" episode, and geez. I was not expecting to genuinely like an episode and laugh at its jokes. Ludo quickly went from a very WEAK(in personality) dull antagonist, to something compelling(and he gets better and more sympathetic too). In just one episode too.
If it wasn't for this episode, I would have dropped the show again. Second episode I liked was the Goblin Dog one. I don't know what it is, but it felt like one of those unusual Adventure Time episodes, and that was almost enough to sell me of the possibility that the show could do interesting stories that are "a little weird" as the title song says.
From there, the writing just got better. And it also became really REALLY good at developing and giving just enough spotlight for its side characters. Heck, I even find this one aspect better done here than in other modern cartoons of similar caliber. Here's hoping it does alot more with this , because it's pretty much its strength despite its weaknesses. So yeah, looking forward to season 3.

RE: Gotta get back -Back to the past- SAMURAI JACK- Whachow
Saw the new Jack. Geez. Great start so far.
! I do wonder who is the identity of the masked leader. I feel it might be a character Jack has met before… maybe that one princess from the bounty hunter episode.. though I'm not certian.
! Also like the inevitable return of Mad Jack... and. Some confirmation that Aku is actually still around rather than ambigiously hiding in the background(or just not there anymore)
! One gripe I guess... I felt like the bgm was out of place in several places where you'd think there would not be any music for the sakes of emphasising silence and sound effects. Like, it sometimes tended to sound like generic cinema music. Not sure if that was the creator's intention to make Jack's return seem more cinematic, or something that was added post production due to investors/whatever.. but eh. It wasn't enough to ruin my enjoyment.
! The moments where Jack was halucinating were great. The concept behind the daughters of Aku was disturbing and makes me ask questions to... how??? And I loved that the show still managed to keep its sense of humor. The pacing was kind of rough, but it atleast presented the important players for future episodes well enough... so..
! Welcome back. Jack.
! I was honestly going to type like.. a sentance. but i wrote a mini review.
! edit: OH YEAH. Return of the ending song! I WAS SO WORRIED they'd not use this rap in this series, and I was so glad they used it! -
RE: What are you Playing?
Really enjoying this blind run of Hollow Knight right now. There's alot of atmosphere and things to find in it. If there's an issue I've had had with "metriodvanias" is… they tend to barely feel like a labyrinth in where there's multiple ways to approach getting to end.. or they tend not to have much secrets you could actually miss or overlook along the way.
Not to say lenair ones are bad... I just.. missed this sense of wonder and exploration so much! I'm only at the start of the game though, so things may only serve to get better as it goes along. It's definitely looking like a good contender for something I'd personally recommend,

RE: Avatar: The Last Airbender/Legend of Korra
I originally interpreted Korra's improv airbending as her discovering her own way to pull it off, rather than solely sticking with the idea that she needed learn it the old traditional way. It would have been a good moral lesson if that were actually the case.

RE: AP Gaming Streams~!
Haven't advertised here in a while. Been doing alot of streams lately. If you are intested in watching a blind play of Hollow Knight, come on in!
No real schedule for this. I tend to stream whenever, and learning to highlight my vods if I find them decent enough.

RE: Gotta get back -Back to the past- SAMURAI JACK- Whachow
Posting some afterthoughs of Season 1-4
Finished rewatching the whole show, and boy was it a ride. It helps that I vaguely remember watching it as a kid, so it came to a surprise to me how much variety there was. Like, it somehow felt less about Jack trying to return home and more about the vast adventure to get there. The settings in particular were either fun or just desolate and shrouded in mystery and lore. Because of this, it's really hard to pick a favorite episode. Besides three pretty bad episodes(worst one being the Demongo episode) and Season 4 oddly feeling weaker that 1-3 despite the scale/spectacle of certain battles and really good production values, the show felt consistantly good with its artsy attempts in seemingly random adventures. Then again, I'm easy to please and don't quite mind the episodic format if it means exploring a variety of ideas.
Fav episodes I guess
-Jack in Space: This felts like a really Dexter's Lab episode and the parts with the bugs in space were really cool. I especially liked how space itself was a black void(no stars shown), which is sorta accurate if you've seen recordings of spacewalks where there is sunlight in the planet's direction.
-Jack and the Three Blind Archers: Earliest episode that really showed the craft of future ones that goes all out with silence and good sound design. That scene where Jack trains his senses was really dragged out, but effective.
-Jack and Scottsman: This episode I felt should annoy me, but Scottsman quickly became a charming doof that works really well with Jack's humble demeanor. I especially liked the setpieces in this one. The construction of the bamboo bridge and what was waiting and the end of the bridge was really peculiar to me, since it's a backdrop that's never touched upon… and I guess this is the first episode that made the show's world all the more mysterious.
-Jack and the Farting Dragon: So many good scenes in this episode, despite the really goofy premise. The visuals inside the dragon reminded me of the those seen in "Jack under the Sea", but with better production values. And that's another episode I really liked for its visuals.
-Jack remembers the Past: Just a touching episode that's really sad. I mean, I guess it would be a dull one otherwise… but I really liked when the episode opened with Jack coming across what was once his home, and the visuals gave enough hints to tell you that before it was confirmed by Jack himself. Pretty neat, considering I'm always trying to figure the settings out.
-Jack is Naked: One of my favorite episodes overall. It's a really good original attempt at Alice in Wonderland, and I'm a sucker for these.
-Jack and the Haunted House: Another top episode. Terrifying concept that could have ended much MUCH darker. The flashback visuals sent a chill down my spine, and the final fight with the ghost-ink-demon-dragon-thing was quite unique. My favorite moments was when Jack was faced with the girl's supposedly dead parents in that room. The way that whole scene starts and escalates in the middle of the situation so dire really added to this one's atmosphere. Maybe this a cliche horror ep, but I really enjoyed this one.Hmm. Seems like my favorite thing about the show is well… the art direction. So I'm really looking forward to see the team pull it off again with their current level of craft.

RE: Gotta get back -Back to the past- SAMURAI JACK- Whachow
Since it's 50 years… maybe that baby from Season 4 finale could be an axe weilding adult.
And there's the Gaurdian.. although I don't think he's going to be explored or touched upon again.
-
RE: Gotta get back -Back to the past- SAMURAI JACK- Whachow
Plus it's been 50 years. For such an adaptable guy, it's not usual he'd pick up on new things if it helps him.
But yes!! So exited for this. I've been actually rewatching the whole show since I forgot a ton from it.

RE: General Zelda thread
Never was a fan of collecting X-amount of the same thing in any sort of game, which is why the mask collecting thing worked a bunch for me.
But in the defense of it… The one time I actually gave it a try was the feather collecting in Assassin's Creed 2. I absolutely hated it in the end, and I never in my life wanted to do anything similar in another game, BUT. I understood it! I noticed that most of the times whenever a collected a feather, I would stop and notice how great the scenery or view was... Almost as if the developers wanted to show off assets they were proud of, despite it not making a forefront in the game's main campaign. So in a way it's a minamilist method of filling up a game's unused corners, esp in a sandbox.
Still. I do feel the design approach too artificial and mindless for my taste.

RE: What are you Playing?
Weird and maybe unheard of games this time.
Been an active listener of Roguelike Radio for a while and remembered to try out this game called Cogmind since it was heavily compared to Brogue. The early access beta is pretty expensive, and all it took a bit of pushing from members/game devs on a dedicated "turned based-action" roguelike Discord make me finally say, "hell, why not?".
Very cool game so far. I like the idea of being this floating core of unknown energy that uses both its base energy and stored physical matter to merge/combine with scrap parts in order to be a walking death machine… or any sort of build that fulfills very specific niches(like advanced hacking, and a fast stealthy bot that flies over stuff). I've only scratched the surface of this thing and apparently the game is pretty huge and chock full of content. Even the story seems pretty interesting so far, although I have to work for it.
From what I've heard, the game should be out with a cheaper price sometime this year.
Beside this.. I'm anxiously awating the release of the next Crypt of the Necrodancer early access expansion, which should be out in a matter of days. Can't wait to hear the new music and see/learn new enemy patterns, if any.

RE: The Nintendo Thread
You were for Pokemon Stars? (not judging, just curious)
Was somewhat hoping to see Pokemon Stars if the words were true. If there's some proof that the franchise is going to continue on Switch, then that would be a sell for me.
But now, I'm kinda thinking Nintendo going to test how the console performs first before deciding on the future of its handheld market. It be a shame to get the Switch for one game and realise no more is going to come out on it.
So yeah, really skeptical now that I'm seeing the launch isn't as strong as I hoped. There's Zelda, but… I don't want to overestimate its success.
-
RE: The Nintendo Thread
No Pokemon or Kirby. No buy.
Not interested in Zelda anymore to buy a whole console for either. So until I see more games I'm interested in
-
RE: Games Done Quick
See I'm actually the opposite. It feels more interesting to speedrun the game "regularly" when traditionally, Pokemon is a very chilled out series, than just doing some exploit on old coding to break the game in less than 15 minutes.
Can't vouch for Emerald, but the Yellow one was great imo. Different strokes :3
Well, the Pokemon guys in general are pretty good at commentary, so it's better than most of the JRPG runs I've seen in the event. So it wasn't as bad as I expected it to be. Helps that Emerald is already kinda easy to break for speed additional speed too.
But… I still think the Pokedex completion glitch run of Red is the best, since it was actually a pretty unique showing.
-
RE: Games Done Quick
To those that complained about the glitchy Pokemon Red run that didn't show off the actual game and instead did some pretty interesting/broken things to fill out the Pokedex instead….
Here's a full blown boring almost 3 hour speedrun of Pokemon Emrald without the glitches. Enjoy.
I really dislike when I see JRPGs in this thing...

RE: Pokemon Ultra S&M - Let's Minecraft Pikachu and Eevee Quest
I kinda wish these places like Battle Tree and similar iterations in previous games had a similar format to competitive, where you go in with six and then see your opponents team and then pick your 3/4 pokemon to use.
Yeah. This. There's only so much you could with using the same three Pokemon(without swapping your leads >_>) vs like 150 random combinations. It kinda narrows down your options.
-
RE: Pokemon Ultra S&M - Let's Minecraft Pikachu and Eevee Quest
That episode reminds me of how dumb XY's plot was.
-
RE: What are you Playing?
Playing Half Genie Hero and not sure if I like it. I mean it's really good and fun, but my biggest hook for the series was the Zelda 2 dungeons and I was not expecting that to be completely gone from the game. Now it's just… a generic stage based collectathon-ish platformer with an end level boss... with the only "exploring" being revisting stages to fetch x amount of things with transformations you get.
I'll probally still finish it at some point, but discovering labyrinths and seeking out their treasures within were THE charm of Shantae games for me. Sigh. Very conflicted about it and I'm not entirely sure what would be my personal verdict in the end.
-
RE: Pokemon Ultra S&M - Let's Minecraft Pikachu and Eevee Quest
Vikavolt has a niche that could be fullfilled, but I'm not sure.
Riachu is potentially nasty on domians. From the VGC matches I've seen, the best use I've seen of it is it abusing the Psychic Z-Move on the psychic terrain, and abusing the speed boosts it gets on electric terrain. There's not a whole lot of use for this in the main game tho.
-
RE: Pokemon Ultra S&M - Let's Minecraft Pikachu and Eevee Quest
More Battle Spot Doubles talk
Met and really neat Oricoro set that copied Quiver Dance. Very gimmicky and easy set to counter, but it was cool to see that and a Cuteify actually look like liable threats. Thinking of making a dance set myself since it just looks fun.
Also watching the VGC Regional.
http://www.pokemonchampionships.com/There's a guy there that uses a Cloud Nine Drampa. I've always wanted to see Cloud Nine in competitive play somewhat, and it's interesting it finally found some kind of niche. Besides that, I'm already seeing some interesting sets.
-
RE: What are you Playing?
Thinking of picking up some Kirby games I missed and mixing it up with a playthrough of Gimmick! The later looks really brutally fun
-
RE: Pokemon Ultra S&M - Let's Minecraft Pikachu and Eevee Quest
NEVER!!!
But seriously, that's for the advice. It didn't occur to me that I could use UBs.
EV Training isn't too bad if you are one that don't really like the tedious hands on approach.
Just use the Training island on Poke Pelago.
Here's a bit from a mini guide I copied since I don't want to type it myself(lazy):
"The Poke Pelago also has an option to EV train your Pokemon. By creating the Isle Evelup you can have up to six Pokemon train on the island from the PC.
Like all of the Poke Pelago islands, the duration and effectiveness of everything you do depends on the amount of PokeBeans you use. Each play session will take half an hour.
If you don't put PokéBeans out, then you will get four EVs every play session, so four every 30 minutes meaning to get 252 you'd need to have 63 sessions lasting 31 and a half hours.Using Poke Beans will speed up the process. Your Pokemon will get four EVs every 15 minutes, essentially halving the time you need to max a stat."
By doing this, you can max out your desired stats while doing something else(like going to bed, work, whatever) in the meanwhile.
-
RE: Pokemon Ultra S&M - Let's Minecraft Pikachu and Eevee Quest
It could be just GF purposely saving features to sell the Switch version(if that is really a thing), but idk. The only things I've noticed that were most likely hardware expensive is double battles and battle royale. And the lack of Triple Battles and Rotation makes it a little more obvious too.
Also, I'm farming BP through Battle Royale and feel like the first rank of it is harder than the Master Ranks, since the AI originally relied alot on cheap RNG like Quick Claws and random flinches activating every turn. It really pissed me off and kinda overestimated the difficulty for the rest of it… which had sets that were powerful, but fair.
-
RE: Pokemon Ultra S&M - Let's Minecraft Pikachu and Eevee Quest
Yeah, I see that(Didn't know about the Prankster nerf though… That's.. an inconvenience.). I don't even think Whimsicott is that good and I'm kinda wishing it was still a pure grass type so it could atleast only have 2x weaknesses(so the lack of STAB would allow it to take more hits). And... there isn't alot to the fairy subtype that actually helps it too, even offensively. So bleh... Still love Whimsicott.
I may end up just running Taunt on something unexpected even with the lack of priority, because Room Trickers/ Aurora Veil Ninetails users would obviously know why I got a Whimsicott(or any common Prankster) in my team.
-
RE: Pokemon Ultra S&M - Let's Minecraft Pikachu and Eevee Quest
More Battle Spot thoughts.
After playing around with Doubles on Battle Spot some more, I realised how nasty Oranguru is. I'm kinda tempted to train up a Prankster user, though there might be some obvious counters to a Taunter.
Whimsicott seems like it would be an okay choice since I've barely seen the likes of Talonflames in this meta yet. I'm guessing that's mostly due to how prominent Electric typings are now, but not certain. Ninetails and snow warning seems like it could get a good unexpected use of Sunny Day too. Been seeing far too much of these things, though it's kinda nice seeing people use ice types.
Also since I didn't play too much of online in Gen 6, I didn't really know spread moves were nerfed in doubles until now. It kinda makes Rock Slide seem a little bit less viable on its own compared to what I was used to in Gen4-5… so, I might need to end up kicking Minior out of my team though I love him, because I don't think there would be much opportunity to set up a Shell Smash.
-
RE: Pokemon Ultra S&M - Let's Minecraft Pikachu and Eevee Quest
I wished I had the patience for the Zygarde, but.. eh. Don't really care for the guy, or how weirdly designed the quest is (like there is no way of knowing if you missed any in areas)
I ended up getting a 50% one on the GTS, and destroyed that for its cells to make the perfect one.
-
RE: Adventure Time!
Exiting!
Also. About Martin's flashback back in the episode "The Visitor"
Really stocked for Islands!
-
RE: Pokemon Ultra S&M - Let's Minecraft Pikachu and Eevee Quest
Did some Battle Tree regular Doubles for the first time… got wiped a few times feeling a little frustrated at Confusion hax and 50% accuracy moves hitting without aims.
Changed my "strategy" and realized the AI seems to aim at my UB's and Legends more than the real threats in my team. Now I'm kinda steamrolling it on a stroke of getting bad plays bu things the refuse to kill Speed Swapped Drampa.. On one hand I don't enjoy it, and on the other I'd rather have this than deal with parafusion.
-
RE: Pokemon Anime (Sun & Moon + Generations)
Hmm. I'm really enjoying this, but I kinda feel the slapsticks with Ash comically flying/jumping/triping/slaming his face into things and or on the ground is starting to wear thin since it happens too very often.
-
RE: Pokemon Ultra S&M - Let's Minecraft Pikachu and Eevee Quest
Tried some online matches and yeah. I'm into this again. The addition of Z-Moves add this exiting element of surprise to things that it keeps my blood rushing. Especially when you plan it out and just trap the opponent in a nasty death corner. Not seeing it being used against me very much tho… The meta behind Z-Moves still seems very young(hell, I'm playing around with it to see the potentials), and I been kinda seeing too many trainers relying on old item hold methods.
My all time favorite match so far is using Pheramosa's speed swap on my already monster tank Bewear, and then destroyed a (lol) Guzzlord with Hammer Arm. And when he brought out his Tapu Koko, Bewear was still able outspeed it despite the speed drop to END the battle with a Z-Powered Earthquake: Tetonic Rage. Seeing all those card play out perfectly felt so damned GOOD.
VCG 2017 definitely has my attention since doubles is actually pretty damned exiting/thrilling again. I almost want to cry with the fun I'm having
Dunno if anyone here likes battling, but. Let me know if you like double battlings. I could do singles too, but I didn't tailor a team for it yet.

RE: Pokemon Ultra S&M - Let's Minecraft Pikachu and Eevee Quest
@.access:
The synchronizer will have a 50% chance of making wild pokémon have the same nature at the synchronizer if it is in the first slot of your party. If you place another pokémon as the lead, it will have no effect, you need the synchronizer as the lead (fainted or not) and the synchronizer itself has to be of the nature you are looking for.
But I keep hearing it does not work that way for SoS chained pokemon.
https://www.reddit.com/r/pokemon/comments/5g6kr3/you_do_not_need_a_synchronize_abra_for_every/

RE: Pokemon Ultra S&M - Let's Minecraft Pikachu and Eevee Quest
[hide][/hide]
First Shiny since forever. Short chain of 30 too.
Wished the nature it rolled wasn't Speed based., but then again I'm having alot of trouble understanding how Synchronize works with SoS chains. It would be nice if it was a 100% chance to sync, so I'd know I'm doing it right rather than just… not seeing it work. Are there videos demonstrating it?
From what I understand it's:
-Fainted monster with the desired Nature on the first slot.
-Synchronizer (does not matter what Nature) kills summoned mons AND be there to see new ones summoned in.
-Catch, and that's it...Maybe I'm not doing it right, or maybe I am but having terrible luck with the 50/50 odds.

RE: Pokemon Ultra S&M - Let's Minecraft Pikachu and Eevee Quest
It wasn't going to be much trouble, but okidoke.
