Thanks for the tip about 63 eps… at this point I'm mostly psyched about the manga, though. I can't wait for the next chapter. I don't know if it'll end quite so soon; sometimes when you get to the big finish it takes longer than you might think, because you can't fast forward anything, and there are so many threads to resolve. I'd say more like 5-8 chapters, definitely not 3.
But maybe this is wishful thinking!

The anime is at my favorite part ^_^ I love the envy/ed/ling dynamic. They're all such twerps, it's fun to watch them twerp in their own individual ways.

Buggy winning is kind of fantastic.

In shonen media, badasses are a dime a dozen. But a truly great and lovable clown like Usopp is part of what puts One Piece head and shoulders above the rest.

Van Augur might be awesome– but who knows yet?
Hancock's already meh-- not a terrible character, but has only one somewhat decent joke (looking down on you so excessively), and isn't very interesting.

At least Van Augur has an interesting look...
