RE: Most Despicable Villain(s) so far…
I seriously go for Foxy. He's damn annoying popping-up in the middle of a good arc. He's REALLY ugly. He's got some of the most pointless mini-arcs that are capable of driving me insane.
Did I mention he's ugly? -

RE: Mihawk VS Devil Fruits
If you watched his duel with Zoro, you'd see, that a low-medium power blow from Mihawk was enough to break both Zoro's katanas and give him a fatal blow. However, the blow wasn't able to cut him in half, and this was in the early stages of the series.
So imagine the "worlds strongest man", do you think that he with a full power slash would be able to cut WB in half? In the most sword duels, that occur in the series, Zoro gets cut from top to toe (literally) but never enough to loose a limb, or being cut in two.
Finally, weather or not Oda will give Mihawk the ability or not is completely out of question, what we're discussing here, is weather Mihawk has had Haki in any of the previous chapters, or if he simply isn't able to use it. -
RE: Mihawk VS Devil Fruits
2> We are mainly discussing Haki here. But you're right, dodging would be stupid. And then we don't really have a proof, that Mihawk can use Haki. When I posted the link, I searched on www.onemanga.com for the Mihawk vs. Crocodile duel, in order to find more information, however I didn't find it, and wanted to get into the debate as fast as possible.
3> Well an interesting opinion already. But I don't get why he wouldn't use Haki as a method of doing more severe damage on Luffy's rubber and WB's immense bodies. But
Rayleigh and Shanks using Haki, doesn't have anything to do with Mihawk, as both are former members of the Roger Pirates, and have traveled the entire Grand Line. Being the strongest swordsman, and therefore stronger then Rayleigh and Shanks in Swordsmanship doesn't mean that Mihawk can use Haki.
I couldn't agree more, Haki using a lot of power, is an OP world fact, however why wouldn't "Thw World's Strongest Swordsman", use a bit of his (eventual) Haki on a direct hit on "the Worlds Strongest Man"? -
Mihawk VS Devil Fruits
Mihawk is arguably one of the strongest characters in the series. His swordsmanship is said to be the greatest in the OP world.
However being the strongest swordsman doesn't mean, that he's able to hurt Logia type devil fruit users, and therefor is weaker then any of them. But lately, every strong character during the Marine Ford arc. has been seen using either one of the only two ways of countering Logias without having to use their elements natural weakness : Seastone weapons (Vista/ Benn perhaps) or Haki (Marco, Jozu, Dolflamingo and others).
SO I CAME ACROSS AN INTERESTING FACT :
If you attack a DF user with Seastone, or using Haki, then the DF's power should be canceled where the hit was placed (like Garp punching Luffy, bypassing his rubber body or Smoker damaging Luffy with his Jutte). However, Mihawk attacked Buggy's split body, and Jozu's Diamond body (albeit at a range), but wasn't able to hurt them at all. The given explanation, would be : "that they're immune to bladed weapons".
From www.onepiece.wikia.com : While Juracule Mihawk is indeed extremely powerful, because of the versatility of Devil Fruit powers, there are those who cannot be damaged at all by his attacks, such as Diamond Jozu and Buggy.BUT IF : Mihawk is a Haki user, or his Sword is made of Seastone, shouldn't he then be able to hurt them, like if he hurt a Logia with Haki? (Like Silvers Rayleigh hurting Kizaru, or Shanks blocking Akainu's attack on Coby).
IS MIHAWK EVEN CAPABLE OF HURTING LOGIAS? Is the world's strongest swordsman, SHIT compared to an Admiral or any other Logia?Take a look at this picture :
http://onepiece.wikia.com/wiki/File:Crocmihawk.jpg
Yes, here we see Mihawk clashing with Crocodile. His sword, hits Crocodile's HOOK, which is made of Gold in his natural form, but can be turned into sand. Crocodile isn't showing any signs of using his DF ability on the picture, but if he was, then IT would prove, that Mihawk can damage Logias in some way.
I just posted this, because this might be a giant future plothole in my opinion, and if I'm right. So enlighten me, or simply debate this tread!

RE: Shueisha wants to get rid of free online manga
WoW If I wan't to buy a Manga, I'll have to travel 2 hours by plane to Denmark and find the one shop in Copenhagen I know sells mangas. OP is currently during the Water 7 arc while I'm reading every new chapter of Naruto, Bleach and OP. So I guess it will end my career as a manga fan if this thing happens.

RE: What I learned from One Piece
1. That you can actually be a pirate, simply by getting a crew, a boat, a flag and indirectly oppose the current world government.
2. That absolutely anyone would like to take care of your child, if only you're tied down in chains.
3. That Vikings actually had horns on their helmets
4. That many people don't know the current bounties of the worlds most wanted pirates and revolutionaries
5. That "admiration is the feeling furthest from understanding" -oh wait, that was Bleach….

RE: Chapter 580: "End of War" Discussion
I was actually quite disappointed by this chapter.
Shanks ending the war, without even KILLING one of the Strawhat's future opponents. This perfectly shows Oda's antagonist survival tactics. With large opponents like Enel and CP9 still alive, plus the Marines, the blackbeard pirates, the supernovas and the two remaining Yonkou, Oda could have One Piece running for years to come.
I'd totally expected Akainu to die after he fucked up Coby and Ace, but Oda would somehow rather have his manga running for ages, then making it epic enough for me to remember.
Seriously, we all know Oda's oppinion on killing characters, he didn't make Pell and the old man die in the Baraque Works saga. When he finally decited to make Ace and Whitbeard die, I was schoked –- Oda finally got balls, just like Disney hanging a little kid in the intro of Pirates of the Carribean 3.
But seriously, I miss the sweet feeling of the antagonists finally getting what they deserve.
