It's still the most popular anime/shonen here besides DBZ, much more so than Naruto, which I guess was always more successful in the US.

That's what I'm asking myself. Are these the ugliest clothes they have ever worn or is that just because they shove them down our throats in every key art and opening? I mean some of their outfits in movies, specials and fillers have been… interesting but they wore them once. It's a shame cause their outfits and hair got better every Post-TS arc and in Wano they're looking their best imo (at least in Robin's case).

Guess the OroJackson users are whiney idiots then. Toei's been finally stepping up their game, making this arc more gorgeous than ugly-ass FMI, Punk Hazard and Dressrosa combined and they still complain? Yeah some episodes in this arc were not as strong as others, but this one was, like art and animation were INCREDIBLE. The final minutes really showed (again) why Big Mom is a mfing Yonkou and even the Germa scenes are fun to watch, far more interesting than in the manga.

The pacing? Was totally fine with it.

Great! Just one little thing, what I liked about the previous blog websites was the overview for the most recent releases. We get informed about new ones in the forum obviously but it'd be cool and probs more important to have that on the website too.

I kind of love how you throw episodes of several arcs out at once even though it may seem confusing to some. But that makes it so unpredictable and exciting lol. Also Marineford, finally! I assume this is Sewil continuing after Impel Down.

Actually, Sanji picking flowers was canon. It probably worked better in the manga, but I thought it was filler as well cause it was just SO unneeded. Same for his other scene before. And to cut it there to push Pudding's goodbye to next episode and not even finish the chapter that we already started last episode was lame. They ruin the pacing of the arc by stretching out every damn detail like they'll show Big Mom next week going to the treasure room and open the door.

Toei is blowing up this arc more than Nami's boobs, but whatelse is new.

Did anyone else also read the book text about Luffy and Nami? Was it intentional to put several mistakes in the English parts (dunno about the Japanese text) like "Hole Cake Island" and "Charlotte Cracer"? And a 5.000.000.000 Belly bounty for Luffy lol.

Mont d'Or is quite a reader with his powers I suppose, so you'd think his grammar would be fine…

I hate the post-ts default outfits too, especially on Ussop, Robin and Nami. Give them something new already! The crewmembers who are not on WCI atm shouldnt get too much screentime anyway and leave room for Carrot, Pedro, Pekoms, Jimbe.
The rest looks good though.

I'm more worried they'll spoil big moments of the arc up until after the ceremony, like Pudding's reveal, Bege's alliance or Katakuri's design. Hopefully, they'll leave that out and change some stuff as the story goes along. The ceremony will probably not start before like March 2018.

Nah, with all this padding and filling going on, I say the anime will not finish Whole Cake Island before like November 2018, or until 2019. But WCI scenes in the opening is actually what I'm WAITING for, that is part of why the current one sucks so hard. Facing off Kaido and his crew when the Straw Hats have never met them and now they have been going against a completely different Yonkou.

Those added 10 seconds of new footage look so good tho, I hope Ishikawa or whoever can glo' up the whole opening looking this good, even if it's mostly the same cliche pattern!

Ohh yes! This godforsaken arc is finally OVER. THANK YOU. 48 episodes is still a bitch of a number but you saved it from Toei's buffoonery lol.

Guess it is THE arc of the remaining ones that needs the edit most (besides Marineford but thats in Sewil's pipeline).

These last couple of episodes have been really good to Nami, she looks gorgeous in basically every shot (no comparison to the abominations during FMI). Her filler scenes were hilarious too, Randolph and his bird didnt strike me as a comedic duo in the manga.

Great art throughout the whole episode despite the 50% filler stuff, hopefully it'll be similiar in #800 next week.

Well this week will see the release of the 40th manga chapter of WCI, which means at least 40-50 episodes for the anime already and it will probably go on for at least another 10-20 chapters. So we even if we won't get a new opening before summer we'll have it more than long enough. I'm so over We Can! but the new scenes looked great.

Liked the whole episode a lot as well.

I mean that could be helped if they went back to 1:30 min openings again lol. Sad cause the Zou arc often looked better than its opening.

Dont we all bingewatch the arcs anyway? So whats the difference between two 20-minute episodes or one 40-minute episode

This episode seemed really well paced to me with a lot of new information so I'm surprised they only covered 9 pages of chapter 820. Animation and art-direction looked pretty good!

The last 3,4 pages were missing, I think they might put Jack's return as a cliffhanger at the end of 772.

Since I rename all the One Pace episodes after the corresponding anime episodes for better overview, I might also help with lists @Long John, if you need specific epsidoes or arcs.

I even looked up episodes for upcoming One Pace arcs already (hadn't anything better to do lol) like Impel Down, Marineford, Post-War, Syrup Village, Baratie and parts of Skypiea.

Huh?? Since Sabaody literally EVERY arc has been longer in the anime than in the manga (Amazon Lily 14 e: 11 c, Impel Down 31 : 24, Marineford 33 : 32, Post-War 27 : 17, Return to Sabaody 6 : 5, FMI 52 : 51, Punk Hazard 47 : 46, Dressrosa 118 : 102).

Why else would fans complain about the pacing lol. However I think it's not too bad in Zou since it's a short arc anyway. DR was far more exhausting as it was already too long in the manga. Interesting to see how it'll turn out in WCI since It's still going on in the manga and probably wont be over soon.

Some group shots looked pretty scary in terms of proportions, but other than that, the episode was amazing! Really enjoyed Sanji's fighting and that zoom out-sequence when Nekomamushi appeared. And Zoro's speech was nice inthe manga imo, but gave me goosebumps here. The close up shots in the second half were also particularly nice.

Looks like next ep will mainly be filler, hopefully they won't waste the good animators on it.

Btw, 764 didn't just cover the rest of 813 but also first 9 pages of 814 (must give Toei credit when it's due lol).

I thought the main "disturbance" was/were the tv special(s). I always enjoy those but I can live without them if they take such a toll on the anime. I guess there is nothing planned for Christmas 2016 and the next movie won't come out till 2020 or something, so the anime should be safe (whatever that means for a Toei production) for a while, thank god.

I loved it! Was indeed quite ~entertaiiiiining~! Lots of funny moments (Brook!) and lots of badass ones. Loved Nami's relationship with Carina, was great to see her burglar past adressed again (since the timeskip). Music, animation, cameos, action, story lovely. Doesnt matter whether it was better than Z or not, I am just happy that it was completely different. Was also pleasantly surprised they involved the Heart of Gold special into the story. Also what an amazing experience to watch such a movie in a movie theater, together with so many other OP fans. I wished they'd shown Strong World and Z there as well.

Why are they doing flashbacks next episode? They couldn't come up with an original story? Really random & we've seen these same flashbacks dozens of times.

Seriously, if I have to see Shanks' Romance Dawn flashback one more time, I'll hack his arm off myself lol. Especially the beginning of a new arc should be interesting and well-paced, not already flawed with filler… I just hope the animation will improve again, it was horrible these 4 episodes.

It has to be in that order or the episodes will not be in chronological episode order in the folder you have them in.

I do it similarly but with episode number instead of chapter, i.e. "One Piece - Paced - 422-423 Impel Down 01 [720p]" or "One Piece - Paced - 212+217-218 Davy Back Fight 04 [720p]". In that way they won't get mixed up with Toei episodes lol.

Nah it's probably Chapter 525 as in 1/2 of Impel Down 01. Finally!
