Besides the point of manga vs. anime, you have quite some nerve to call people illiterate because some people think that the anime is a more immersive visual medium.
This is a problem I see a lot here on the forum, people looking down on OP fans who prefer the anime over the manga. Grow up, there's bound to be people with an opinion that differs from yours.
You need to get of your high horse and stop judging people based on their preferences.

I get more affected by the anime version, with music and voice actors (doing their job wel l
), than a panel on a piece of paper.
The fights are clearer and easier to follow in the anime. Before I started watching/reading the series, I found the manga way too busy (even now, I didn't even notice
! the tatoo Luffy has..) But the manga is more beautiful and faster.
On the other side, the anime is more fun to watch, comedic scenes are handled better in it, as for most dramatic scenes. But that's my opinion

I was horrified by how bad Hancock was drawn, which ironically, she's the most beautiful person in the series :p
I liked the movie (the first One Piece movie I've ever seen), but I was a bit dissapointed. I expected much more from the fights, but I loved the mafia scene and the scene where
Shiki and co. were dancing.
