He used the left hand to crush the glass.
His jaws are covered with metal. (armor or otherwise)

RE: Where everyone stands in OP??
Zoro with a seastone sword/hilt = Killer. But it wouldn't work on MH though…

RE: Gears- How far will oda take luffy
If Fourth gear (or I hope the Final Gear) is on the works, I hope Luffy can somehow mix the powers of the 2nd and 3rd gears. That would be awesome.

RE: The next new Nakama?
Saying that Brook has a long term goal as of this point is clear speculation. Who says that Brook's fighting with a sword invalidates Zoro's existence? I'm just saying that if he's gonna be a swordsman. It is highly probable Zoro and he will clash swords at one point or another.
The next new Nakama will be a merman.

RE: The next new Nakama?
I think Brooke will be like Vivi. He'll be nakama but not permanently. He just wants to find his shadow. He has no permanent long-term goal like everyone else. Luffy wants to be the pirate king. Zoro the world's greatest swordsman. Nami to draw a map of the whole world. Ussop to be a great warrior of the sea. Sanji wants to go to all-blue. Chopper wnats to become a real man/doctor/pirate. Robin wants to find the ancient stone which tells the history of the void century…
In addition, he is a swordsman. Zoro will have to defeat him. If not, Zoro's goal will be tarnished.

RE: Luffy learned gear 2 before water seven arc?
It's Oda who thought about Gear 2 before water 7.

RE: The Beginning of the End
In latin, non sequitur. None of your (established) facts point to the conclusion that OP is at the beginning of the end. Your inference is flawed. That's what the F is for.

RE: The Beginning of the End
This Statement is the downfall of your thread
"3. I have heard that Merman Island, which is next, is halfway along the grand line. There is also likely to be another Shichibukai there."
The conclusion that follows is that OP is at the middle of the grand-line adventure, not the end of OP.

RE: If the Shichibukai are so strong, then why havent they found One Piece?
OT is a complex-compound question with a hidden desired conclusion from the OP. Let me illustrate in a simple manner how this logical fallacy scheme is intended to work:
Shichibukai = strong.
Strong = can get one piece.
Shichibukai = cannot get one piece.
therefore,
Shichibukai = not strong.
